What's the most beautiful things you've ever seen?  Felt?  Witnessed?  Heard?

Another...what's a guaranteed way to make you laugh?  Just smile sweetly?

1.  Gotta agree with MW - the birth of a baby, ANY baby!

2.  At age 43, on the top floor observation deck of the former Twin Towers in New York, walking around a corner of the building and seeing the Statue of Liberty for the first (and so far only) time in my life.

3.  Attending an night-time program at Mt. Rushmore where spotlights from below gradually illuminated the mountain as the Star Spangled Banner was being played.

The Christmas season... the real true soul of it... and what it temporarily does to people.

My hearth, my home, in the midst of... the peace of a great wilderness.

When I look at Kasey;   her success;   and realize... that we're responsible for allll that happiness and excitement and potential.

I've been to so many great places and seen so many very neat things.  I think the most beautiful thing I have ever seen though is the purple and yellow crocus that come up in my yard in February - wow - it's a sign of green to come.

My on line friend from back east can always make me smile - and sweetly at that

I'll be back at this post tonight after I've had a while to think about it.

well the most beautiful thing? was when they plopped that little sister of mine into my arms seconds after she was born...instant love and instant bond (never having had my own I suppose thats about as close as I'll get to feeling like a new mom)

now my dogs make me laugh...and Pacqua has the sweetest face for a dog...she's white with those big brown eyes and whether she does it on purpose or not she has the innocent I didn't do it puppy look down perfectly! that makes me smile and feel such love...

I'd have to say it was seeing Alex and  Mai-Lin be born unto me. How much I cried this day I can't even recall, but I surely did. Now the 2nd thing will have to be the birth of my granddaughter, which will be happening very soon. I am so looking forward to this blessed day.
