Dykie and I (Mike) made it .... and had a interesting talk - the good news is that the chat room seems robust and worked very well. It would seem to get in the chat room, you might need to *wait* a while ... just open a new window ... surf and wait for the "ping" noise to let you know that your connected. I had to wait a FULL five minutes, but it kicked in, in the end ! Just for the record me and Bri happened to bump into each other in the chat room later and had a great chat about various things ... ie the Head had a yacht as well as a plane !! Anyway ... I recommended that when anyone logs onto the site, why not log into the chat room as well, maybe someone will turn up !!!! Mike |

Yes I got in though it took an age. I had a good chat with Mike about the place in the 70s but forgot the bit about the boat. Will definately do it again next week. Cheers, Nick Dykes. |

Oh dear. Seems to have gone flat again. I was there (honest!) at around 22:10 (BST) for around 15 minutes. Then again at about 22:55 for about 30 minutes. Oh well, there's always next week... Bri |

Perhaps its cos I'm using the computer at work, I cannot get into the chat room - 'server problems, try later' I have tried a few times and left it at it for long periods but it will not connect. Regards Allen / AB-N |

Sorry - I keep getting phone calls at this time as well as having a weak mind ... my life is also spinning out of control at the moment - get back to UK, need new job etc .... arrrrrgggggggg .... |

Nick Sorry. I'm still here. Meant to make the chat room on the last couple of Sundays but didn't. My lads youth footie team dumped me with the task of setting up a web site for them so I've been busy with that for the last couple of weeks. (http://www.bengeotigers.org.uk if anyone's interested in that sort of thing... Not much on it at the moment though, so don't get too excited. 'Bengeo' is a suburb of Hertford and is pronounced "BenJeeOh".) Anyway, still up for Covent Garden on Friday, though I don't think I'll be there as early as you lot, maybe 8'ish. See you there. Bri |

It is now 2006!!!!! Does anyone use the chat room now? I have been in but never found anyone on it. If you use msn, my Hotmail is [email protected]. It would be good to chat dont you think? |
