Hi to Crispin, Must admit I didn't know they numbered the pupils. I must be Number 2, so all you Prisoner fans beware. I wonder who number 6 is? I have met number ONE and it's frightening, just regret failing to kill him with a knife in 1964. Who was the teacher that was ill, was the groundsman called Carl? Laurie |

The goundsman in the mid 80's was called Craig Keast (or something similar?): In fact I've found a photo: Mike |

I wonder if they still numbered us in the 80's-90's - be pretty cool to get everyone’s number! I estimate that there were approx 25-ish pupils a year. School was open 64 to 94-ish (so about 30 years). That makes only about 750 pupils at QS in total ... can that be right?? Sounds low. Love to know who was pupil 666! I think the rates at the School in about 85-ish were about £5,500 GBP a year (we'll assume this is constant to allow for inflation), which makes a grand tally of £4,125,000 GBP (less grub, grounds and the odd football), gives £4,124,999 GBP profit ... - and that's not allowing for tuck shop profits. Hi Mike, Not the Odd Job man I'm thinking of. Although all the staff were odd. I think you'll find that Justy had most of the Tuck Shop profits ! It would be great to find pupil 666. I find it weird that Quantock was numbering pupils. Crispin, how do you know your number? How much were you paid to wash up? I got 5/- (25p) a week. Are you and your good lady coming to the next reunion? Cheers Laurie |

Hi Laurie, Have replied to your email. Cool idea and equipment provided. Will start thinking of some ideas for it too..... Unfortionately there was no profit made from the tuck shop heist....we had to eat all the evidence before breakfast....!?!?! I was paid 50p per hour for my jobs......which was great considering my parents only provided £2 per week pocket money.....!!!!! Can I be pupil number 69? The odd job man in our time was Doug Baker.......assisted by a chap called Cliff. Justy |

Hey, I remember you. I don't check my hotmail account often often and hence a late response. My name is Jayant Bhatia and I was at Quantock from 1968 to 1971. I remember Nigel Ward also. He always used to do odd jobs for Mr. Peaster, as far as I can remember. I was in fleming house.

Hello Jayant:
I remember you. In fact, I have written to you before and you replied. You are from Bahrain, correct? The Ward who did all odd jobs for DP was Bruce Ward. His father was in the army so he had all kinds of millitary music.
How are things with you? What can we do about the price of Oil? It's getting to be too much!
Cheers
Mabz
