(1) What is the Graduation Database:

The "Graduation Database" is a list of data, generated by members to allow other members to find them easily. It also allows you to post other contact information so as former friends can easily keep in contact with you.

The following categories are present in the "Graduation database":

a) CLAS OF: - The Year that your Class would have finished its 5th Year

b) Name - (Family name, followed by First Name i.e. Blake, Mike)

c) Creator - Generated by system and is a Link to your Profile *provided* that you are the "creator" of the entry)

d) Stay - (Which years you were at the School i.e. 1985-90)

e) House (C/F) - Sporting House i.e. Coleridge or Flemming.

f) E-mail address (Just your E-mail address)

g) Other contact details (i.e. phone number, or other information of your choosing)

h) Photo (we can put a link to a digital photo of you if you have one)

i) Updated (Done by the system ?i.e. how current the database information is)

NOTE all the above information can be edited at a later date -***PROVIDING***- you put the data in YOURSELF (i.e. your "member name" should be in the "Creator Link to Profile" column). If you wana edit any details and you are NOT the creator of the file, then the solution is simple:

i) Add yourself to the database (see (3) below for more information)

ii) Tell Rick or I, and we will delete the duplicate entrée that we created for you.

(2) WHY should you add yourself to the "Graduation Database":

One of the MAJOR reason this community was setup, was to allow all of us to track down long lost friends. Unfortunately due to the way the MSN site is organized, there are very few ways of telling which of our members might be your former friends ?the "Database" makes this possible!

The 'Database' is organized by the "CLASS OF:" category and is defined as the "Year that your Class would have finished the 5th Form (N.b. By organizing the "Database" this way, all the people from the same Year (even if you left early) will be listed together, thus allowing former pupils from the same Year to find each other easily.

The 'Database' also allows you to add other contact details so that wherever you move to (for the rest of your days? you can always find your friends (and them you) as the site won't move - that is proving you keeps your database contact details up-to-date.

Yes I realize "Graduation" is a bit fancy a term for the Quantock Education that we received!

ii) Tell Rick or I, and we will delete the duplicate entry that was created for you.
