Robbie,

I agree this site is great - but it is made great by people getting involved so I would love to get a scanned version of the 1982 photo.

Yes you can scan it in in either 2 or 3 sections and I will do some digital magic and make it whole again. I only ask that you make sure that when you scan in each section, the photo is held square against the edge of the scanner to help line the bugger up afterwards. You also need to make sure that each section has a little overlap with the last section to help me line the sections up afterwards.

Also, can you send me the pictures in "jpg" format which is much better than "bmp" format - if you understand what I'm on about then great - if not don't worry just send me the photo sections (in any format) to the following email address:

[email protected]

After the pic is placed on the site, I will add numbers to each face to so people can  add names to faces .....

Thanks Robbie, look forward to getting the photo.

L,

Sorry I don't have the file on my PC - even did a Google search for it ...

Is this the result of the 'gag' when you get an email telling you to delete an icon (which is claimed to be a virus) often that looks like a little bear?

Hi Mike,
This isn't the little bear thing. I wish it was.
My antivirus software detected a virus in jxmmui.exe and it was unable to cure it so I had to delete it.
After deleting this file all programs on my computer refuse to start and I get the message
jxmmui.exe missing.I am going spare trying to get this file but can't find it at all.
Anyone with this JXMMUI.EXE please send it to me.
Laurie

L,

Does your PC boot at all?

If it does I don't suppose the file is sitting in your Recycling Bin?

Can you email your Virus software people, maybe they have an answer? What system are you running on?

Hi Mike,
The computer came up with a message via the anti virus software saying that jxmmui.exe was infected but it could not fix it so I deleted it via DOS as windows could not do it.
I rebooted the computer to get a message jxmmui.exe required to run exe files. I could run any prog that didn't require exe. EG HTML. and could get onto the internet.
I contacted a "Expert" who told me to reload windows as my system was corrupted. I have now done this and my computer is now compleatly dead. I can't boot or anything,so much for "Experts".
Any news on the numbers as we should contact Matron.
All The Best
Laurie
