I had a scout a year or go for the 'Marsh' (/Marshes?) uniform shop that used to be on Whiteladies road Bristol but drew a blank.
I bet Matron could dig you out a blazer if you asked her .... !! |

If you have some stuff to add for the site let me know... I am almost ready for launch, but will of course will be adding stuff as I go.

I was 7.5 stone when I left Quantock. I am now 15 stone. Just shows how starved I was at Quantock. Laurie |

I dont blame the food, I
blame Mr. Collins sending us on cross country runs, it kept us all thin like
rakes :)

Rick, No worries my friend...it's raining here for a change, but as soon as I get the chance I'll lay the kit out in the Aussie sun on a white background and take some images for you. Cheers Warwick |

Laurie - 7.5 stone? Jeez. I was probably less than that. I was so small that when I was in the 4th Year for the annual photo I was placed up with the 1st and 2nd years! I'm around 12st now which I guess is a healthy weight - but then there are no meals that encourage a one meal a day diet! (There were many meals at QS I'd avoid like death!)
Rocker - I agree about the X-Country runs, but in my day we often used to chaged these into jogs, and later still into walks...
Warwick - cheers for that mate - and for reminding me that some people are still soaking up the Aussie sun while the rest of us are getting ready for more rain... |
