I want infor on oral ketamine in treatment for crps/rsd.  Positive responses in most reports I read about infusion, but internet also provides info on oral ketamine as a "party" drug and that addiction is a factor.  Too much info to process alone.  University of Colorado Hosp. has used ketamine infusion for rsd/crps but I am not sure if it was done in clinical trial or just offered as an experimental procedures.

My md would like to try ketamine infusion, and understandably w/c will not pay for experimental procedures.  I have read of deep anesthesia with hours of infusion, and I have read of infusion for a few hours and then home and returning for a couple of days for treatment.

I need info and info on ave cost for both types of procedures.  If you are not in Co. and you have info on what I need, then please help.  MD realy wants to find a way out of this W/c no experimental procedures policy.  It appears that the drug is not expensive, and get this, he said he would donate his time and see if the medical facility would accomodate at a reduced rate.  Talk about a caring doc

What you have experienced and what you can share in  experience with ketamine or any knowledge of different uses of ketamine for pain control would be so appreciated.  I would love to find an experimental study with ketamine for crps, I am just about that desperate.

Does anyone know if there is a web site that provides info from people like us that live in Colorado?

Also, the Bar in Co. publishes opinions of judges effectiveness and  court ro  om demeanor, etc.  Some where on the web must be info or a blog on treating and IME physicians in Colorado and other states.  Can you help me?

I would love to put a four star rating on a certain md pimp of the year. and I know there are hundreds of others out thereSo So many great mds to help us, but there must be some where we can get info on these mds that check you out and suddenly have a completely different diagnose and treatment plan.  Have been so fortunate with any IME before, the md was truthful, but this time I'm not sure that  the persons examining were listening.  Sure couldn't tell with half truths.

Please help me out friends.  Anything would help.

thanks for reading
