Welcome to the group Zap, I'm fairly new here too. I have rsd in my left shoulder, and have just started in my left hand. I'm 37 & have 2 kids, luckily a wonderful husband who's been very supportive. I'm lucky in that my rsd isn't full-blown yet, we caught it sort of early and through pt and meds have helped control it a little. Very scary that I just watch it get worse, and weaker. I try to keep positive and think there are people who have it worse, but as you know, sometimes that's hard. This group seems to have a lot of info, and everyone is very caring. It's been a great help to me, sometimes just hearing that other's share the same problem is comforting. Hope this group is good for you as well..... Dawn
