I'd like to ask that we gather in unison and take a deep breath together.

Raising our hearts to heaven, let us travel with intention to the rainbow bridge... a place of wisdom, healing, peace and love. Together this evening we will share the gifts of crystalline energy.

It's a glorious vibration. Familiar as the very essence of us, as we are part of the crystal kingdom. Water and minerals are in our very beings. It is this connection that reminds to accept the gifts of the crystal family.

How many of you remember being drawn to the twinkle of a stone in childhood? A sparkle caught our eye, just as it has for centuries. Human kind has been drawn to the beauty of these wonderful friends, in discovering their unseen powers and gifts.

Crystal Therapy is really about understanding and accepting these gifts into our life. It is the practical application of crystal energy...the ability to partner with these beings, is to enhance our understanding of the Divine.

Crystal energy can assist you in the most amazing ways. They act as channels for information, help amplify energy, focus intention, and so much more. They can also be used to accelerate projects.

Malachite is a favorite for helping the body ease stress. For those working in an office environment, black tourmaline can temper electronic stress. These practical applications are just a few ways to accept this power energy into your life.

The idea of a personal stone is helpful because it helps you dialogue with crystal energy. It's color allows you to focus and draw in information. Wearing jewelry with a favorite stone is another wonderful to physically connect with the energy. How many times have you thought to wear a "lucky" ring, necklace, etc.? This bond of energy assists you throughout your day.

The partnership of energy is both powerful and palatable. The vibration intensity with a crystal may be gentle or hot to the touch. It is becoming aware of the connection that is most important.

When you what into a store, see where you are drawn. You may be surprised! The stone may not be the one you expect. It may not be the most beautiful, or largest. It will however, be perfect.

Trust the wisdom within and trust that the crystal will call you. Many times they will simply find you...through a friend, as a gift, in some cases they simply seem to appear overnight. As you get more in tune, you will find that a rhythm of movement forms.

It is a joy to be a guardian. With that joy is also a responsibility to care for your stones. Learning to cleanse, charge and program are all elements to consider. There are several ways to cleanse stones. Some of the most popular are with water, moonlight or sunlight, and with salt.

Programming is setting your intention. What are you asking the stone to assist you with? Receiving energy, sending energy, healing yourself, healing another, etc.

Charging is like resetting the battery. It's a boost done most often with sunlight or moonlight. The most important thing to remember is trust. You'll know what stone to select and learn how to work with it.

You mentioned several methods for cleansing...water, salt, moonlight, sunlight... are there certain specific procedures for each of those techniques? For instance...soak in purified water for 3 hours...rub with salt for 2 days...leave out during the first full moon...leave in sunlight for a day... that sort of thing.

There are traditional methods and some non-traditional ideas. As a rule of thumb, consider how you are using the stone. Is it a personal stone or a crystal used in a healing practice?
I believe the most effective and easiest to use is breath. With clear intention you can clear a stone as you would clear your own energy field.
