I have been blessed with finding Reiki teachers, or they found me it seemed, and was able to be attuned on through to Master level for next to nothing money wise. The teaching part is still not my comfy zone yet. I feel I should know more I think. Although I have attuned a few in level 1. Both in the Therapeutic Touch (which I also do) and in Reiki I find many talked about all their lives not being able to wear a watch long or having trouble with electrical things when kept close by. I myself have always had trouble with it. And yes I found once I started channeling my energy through healing even before I became attuned that the ill side effects seemed to diminish. I can still blow a light bulb if not careful and trust me I gave up wearing a watch long time ago. LOL It does seem those who have trouble are rather over loaded with energy that is not being funneled in a positive manner yet.  Justme3 |

Oh Just...I wish I could find someone to take me through for next to nothing. It is just unheard of around here :( I also gave up wearing a watch long ago. I think I have been given a gift for this sacrifice in return, like a universal payback. Lately sometimes,I just seem to know what time it is, like down to the minute :) I like:) Talk about draining...I can drain a cell phone battery in no time, especially if I am talking with another "sponge". I blew a lightbulb just the other night too. I was feeling just a "wee" bit stressed..I guess to put it mildly, and I was *talking* "again to put it mildly" to my girls, to please just go to sleep like good girls, mommy just needs a little break, and I walked out into the other room and pop...I haven't done that in a long time...Need grounding anyone  Or maybe a good therapist. :) Sassy...hi honey...no comp at home yet? :( It's very true. Natural healers have a "natural" energy" flow, and that flow through Reiki, can gain in strength, or perhaps we just learn how to use it to it's full potential or channel it in the right direction, is a better way to phrase it. Firstmorningsun...hi! :) No sweetie, unfortunately I don't :( I do have an idea for you though. Call your local hospitals and see if they offer Reiki treatments. If so, the practitioner would have to be at least a master if not a teacher. Odds are if they don't teach, they could stear you in the right direction. Bliss..you totally made me smile with your ramble! :) That sounds like an awesome book. I really need to pick that up. I used to have a huge moral dilema involving charging for treatments. But on the other hand, this is the path that was given to me, and at some point, I suppose I should charge. I kinda have too to survive. Anyway I took up my moral dilema with my Reiki master, and she explained, that the healings are free...it's our time that we are being paid for. Still hard for me...but I think I can live with that  ..maybe? Dunno really...haven't charged yet...so well see  Have a great day sweetness |

I had a Reki Healing done on me once for my sinus problems, I had my eyes closed and I could feel the energy of the healer in my face - I knew were she was on all parts of my body. When my eyes were closed I knew she was at a certain part of my body. Afterwards she told me I was very in tune with this and that I should do healings myself on other people. Sometimes my hands get really really hot and I was told to release the energy and heal someone or something with it. What do you think? |

| I'm not trying to be negative. I'm very interested in Reiki and learning but something makes me feel odd about exchanging material possesions for spiritual help. |

I feel that same way also, it's like if you have this gift why not just help with it, I think for helping your gifts would come to you from God in other ways. |

(((((Raccel))))) Hi, so sorry I missed your question. I feel you are are a natural healer as well . Also the hands never lie ;) You can do healings on family members. I would study up a bit though. Learn the patterns and chakra systems. Although with Reiki, there is never a wrong way, but it is good to familiarize with the chakra's. The healing will go to where needed. You can also do Reiki on your pets, plants, just about anything :) Good luck honey. if you need anything let me know In Peace Jody |

Hi Jody, I am certified in healing therapeutic touch.I really love it and of course i used my whole family to work on lol... One time though, when my daughter was 12, I did a chakra spread on her and when i was done i let her be as I usually did because alot of times they fall asleep. Her eyes were open and rolling around(scared me half to death  ) and so i said her name twice as i held her feet to wake her up. She said she traveled to heaven and seen her grampy and great nanny who were dead for a few years. She also said that she was being sucked back down from heaven because she could here me call her name. I called my instructer and told her what happened. She said i put her under too much and she was in a hypnotic state. She neglected to tell me that children need fewer strokes and a shorter time with treatments. She said nothing bad would have happened except for she would have seen what the other side was like and i did the best thing by waking her up when i did. I thought i was gonna kill her ....Have you ever heard of this?Needless to say i don`t do her anymore lol. ~KRI~ |

Hi Jody, sometimes my hands are so hot!! and my feet!!! I have a fan at the end of my bed for my feet, sometimes I can't sleep because of them? - My Grandson my couching and wheezing one day he's four months old, My hands were very hot and he said on my knee facing the TV and just sat he had not vest on so I put my hands on his little chest - the next day I called my daughter cause she was going to take him the Dr's and she said he seemed fine - I wonder? |

Kri...Hi sweetie I have never ever heard of this happening. She is right, the methods are differant for children but when working with universal energy, there is usually never a wrong way, and it is never harmful. That is really wild that that happened. I am going to think on this a little more. Raccel...hi you too!! :) It's just the opposite with me, my feet are always feezing! lol Wonder no more, you definately had an impact on your grandson. Way to go you |
