DESTINY BLESSED
I draw three circle bounds,
To trap the evil that holds me down.
I bathe in bath salts so cleansing,
To wash away the filth on body and soul.
I dress in white muslin pure, looking in the mirror,
I slowly cover my hair with a scarf, soft and white.
I light the candles white & true, the smell of incense fills the room
. Tiny bells and wind chimes whose sounds fills the silence
That resides deep in everyone’s soul.
Chanting softly to direct my thought and hold my mind
I sprinkle herbs & incense on the charcoal burning red.
I call on the One, which is Holy to us all.
I breathe slowly becoming one with the Universe.
I lift the sacred chalice, blessed by the One and wine,
I made specially, to represent all on Earth.
The Wine of Love, of Mercy, of Souls lost to pain,
Then I lift my spirit with my supplications for the Souls of Earth,
I drink the Wine and trust in my Guide to light the way.
I accept my fate, as one left to live in shadows, often cold!
Till my purpose?my work?my destiny?is come to an end.
This is my destination, no matter what, set already.
So blessed by God and with God, I do walk,
Towards my destiny with caution, with Prayer and Faith,
My head held high, my jaw set, I follow my path to its inevitable end.
