So what is duality? What do we mean when we say this word? I can give the intellectual definition, or I can make it simple. We can use what I just typed as a simple means of understanding, the words duality, do, we, this, I, give…you get the point…all represent one glimpse of it. This is that, we and they, give and take�?you see? This is what our world is, it’s what every conceptual idea we have is created using, we as unenlightened beings have no other means to know, feel, experience anything. Think of anything you will, look at it closely if it’s not readily apparent, it’s there no matter what it’s there. Try as you may but it’s still there, our minds cannot separate from this notion of the separateness of things, it’s the way we are conditioned to think and act…I think I’ll get some ice cream, or I won’t get it…when I get it do I eat it or don’t I. And who is this I anyway? It’s me right? So if there’s me then there must be you, and since there is you and me there must be them as well, but less we forget I or who would they be anyway.

So then lets take it from there, I and you. There is an I for me to say is me because there is a you, if there was no you what would we call I? And as for you, you’re you because of me. You see the point? We create separateness in all parts of our conditional existence, I say conditional because that’s what it is. Everything that is you or I is nothing more then a set of conditions that happen to come together in just the right way and time. Nothing more, nothing less the same all the same. Does this seem bleak? Naa, think of what that means, nothing is different you are God, you are the Buddha, hell you are me, and I am the walrus kookoo a choo J so then happy and sad, are they different I think not. If you never knew sadness what would happiness be? if you spent your hole life in misery and despair, then at the ripe old age of 80 experience, for the first time, what we call happiness, you’d say "what the hell was that!" are they different? No. are they the same? Well no, but yet they are (figure that one out). How about life and death? The ultimate duality true? We know that with life comes death, I know that as sure as I’m sitting here typing this dribble everyone of you and me are gunna die, there’s no question about it. But�?why then is it so hard for us to see the duality of this, you cant have the one without the other true? Ok then, so in death there has to be life! It has to be, our entire universe as we know it falls into duality, how could this one thing escape it? Its all the same you see, the duality needs us, but we don’t need it. We’ll go on anyway, all the same all different because that’s the way it is. But if you get the big kick in the ass one day you’ll wake up and see, for the first time, there is none, no duality at all�?but it will still be there, around the next corner, waiting. But when you round that corner and it jumps out at ya, you’ll laugh, you’ll see it for what it is, empty…just like you.

Every empty thing in this empty page is as empty as the empty person whose empty mind came up with this empty crap. Its all the same over and over. Different words, but still the same story.
