KELLOG's CREED
Welcome, and thanks for spending the time to read this.  It's been about 25 yrs since I first heard the gist of the below Creed. I'm sharing it here - because following it it has provided a skeleton for my/others' performance, bringing me to a "good" place.  If you follow it - it can do the same for you.  (this ain't advice - I don't waste time with that shit.)  Consider it courtesy in direction.  That's what all this 'spiritual' yada yada for enlightenment is all about, kids --- if ya can't gain a balance of control, it don't make much sense to throw out the bathwater with the baby still in it

Back when I was a lean mean ?/FONT>Wanna be Warrior of the Wurld? my Guild (Floating Hand House) teacher put a demand upon me. Perhaps "Demand" is a unfair word;  in my training, Everything was a demand.
It was part of the "agreement for training." Every teacher or organization (Guild, coven, society, etc.) has one --- whether it be highly structural and bombastic --- or be it a simple dialogue between teacher and student, shared on a Tuesday afternoon in a soft, green, airy place. At that time, being a badass stone cold "catch the Great Dark One and stomp it" kinda person, I thought little of the agreement.   Duh.  Spatial Time, hard-to-the-bone experience, loss, and finally, personal enlightenment (crude as it is) ...allowed me to View this agreement again, at an older age
...and become illuminated through the self-actualization.
What the hell does all that shit mean
?
In words maybe more precise: My teacher was sharper than I was. It took some years for me to catch up to her enlightenment, with my own. During that time, I learned the hard way --- but I learned.
What I realized was the Creed she asked me to embrace, as my spiritual guide...was actually my road map as well. It is a personalized "how-to" of spiritual growth.       Period.
So here is Kellog's Creed. Forgive me the irony of assuming a personalization on a set of instructions "owned" by everyone...everyone sharp enuf to notice their noses on their faces every morning, in the Mirror --- or perhaps in their Minds?Eye.
I think you can derive usefulness from it. If not - I did my part to drag you screaming this far

1: Don’t let anyone rule over your mind.
2: We are all masters --- but don’t EVER call yourself one. Be gently cautious of those who do.
3: Listen to the folks around you -
then listen some more. Allow thoughts outside your ken to spring gently. (suspend disbelief) 4: Nothing of value in this Wurld ever comes without effort. Pay chilled scrupulous attention.
 5:
Everyone has something to teach; allow their perspectives to Illuminate you. 6: If you learn nothing else in your trip through the Wurld ---
learn self discipline. 7:
Patience and kindness are the virtues you need desperately --- here, and in the Far Land. 8: Treat all others as you wish to be treated, whether you understand why or not.
 8a:
Violence should always be the last resort; besides, it is usually the clumsy resort. Harm no one who is not harming you. If harm approaches, use strategy to deflect or derail. 9: Build your Etiquette as though you will greet the Gods tomorrow morning ?because you may
.
10: Never let 'em see ya sweat.
Thanks for listening - now go build your Path in the Wurld.
