"Into the raw earth, out comes art, and joy. Lino-cut Poets continue." ~Justin Kempton, WritersMugs.com

The holidayseason is approaching and I wanted to remind you that my artwork is available as a gift. The print(s) you purchased helped me continue to pursue my artwork in 2006. My latest enthusiasm has been in discovering how to make my own ink from the sap of local trees, soot, and oil. When boiled to 600 degrees, the oil ignites, and the ink produced is exceptional. This process took several months of research, including digging up old recipes, trial and error, and the occasional near fatality! I made it out alive with only a few singed hairs, and a great appreciation of fire safety. But in the process, I have crafted an ink that creates beautiful impressions with much more detail then the store bought variety. Plus it smells better!

A local floor covering store donated a very large roll of 'marmoleum' for my project, which has been quite yielding to the knife. With the combination of the homemade ink, and the new medium, I have entered a new phase of my artist development, that I would like to share with previous supporters.

Therefore, I would like the honor of inviting you to visit my website and take a close look at my latest pieces. You will find a new portrait of Henry James, Sartre, Whitman, Gandhi, even Bertrand Russell (as a young man). Please write me back with any comments or suggestions you might have, or even what you've been up to. I'd love to keep in touch!

And for those who have purchase my prints from Ebay, they are available on Ebay as well :
