"The Unforgettable Fire" tour - october 23, 1984 - U2 perform in Nantes, France at Saint Herblain Hospatlier. "MLK" is put back into the set list, and is played after "Wire". Still, the crowd doesn't seem overly responsive to the song. I like to be able to tour in other places. It's not always fun, it's not always together, but you have to accept that as part of the problems of going to these places." Support is "Big Audio Dynamite".

"The Joshua Tree" tour - october 23, 1987 - U2 perform in Lexington, Kentucky at the Rupp Arena. During "Pride(In the Name of Love)" Bono vocalizes his feelings about scalpers, "If there's any scalpers in this building, they are NOT welcome. We decide what a U2 concert is worth!"
