"Boy" tour - november 7, 1980 - U2 perform in Exeter, England at the University. Playing mostly universities and rock clubs with a few hundred people in attendance, the itinerary includes several London shows, as well as return visits to venues already in September.

November 7, 1981 - U2's "October" album enters the BillBoard Top 200 at #181.

"The Unforgettable Fire" tour - november 7, 1984 - U2 perform in Glasgow, Scotland at Barrowlands. During the second show, Bono hands out cups of water to people who are getting squashed in the front. Charlie Burchill of "The Waterboys", during the soundcheck in the afternoon, pops up for a chat and after, joins U2 on stage for "40", while his whole band watch from the back. Bono dedicates 40 to them and afterwards the audience turn around and applaud them when a spotlight points them out. Support is "The Waterboys".

"The Joshua Tree" tour - november 7, 1987 - U2 perform in Denver, Colorado at McNichols Arena. During the soundcheck, the band rehearse "She's A Mystery To Me", which Roy Orbison will record for his "Mystery Girl" album. Denver has been chosen as the site to film the 35 mm black & white film footage for the "Rattle & Hum" rockumentary. Multiple cameras have been set up in the arena, including two that cross the front of the stage on tracks between the audience and the stage. Cameramen walk on and off-stage to capture the concert from as many angles as possible. On the first night, U2 acknowledge their performance at Red Rocks on June 5, 1983. During "New Year's Day", Bono sings, "You were there when the rain was coming down?....Icy fingers, warm hearts...warm hearts..." The film crew capture the show as well as possible, but in many cases block the audiences view, and suffer from camera breakdowns.

"ZOOTV - Broadcast" tour - november 7, 1992 - U2 perform in Oakland, California at Oakland Stadium. U2 perform in front almost 60,000 fans in one night. "One" is dedicated to the Needlepoint Exchange, a national organization that supplies needles to intravenous drug users across the country. "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" is dedicated to concert promoter Bill Graham (he was one of the responsibles for 1986-Conspiracy Of Hope tour and Save The Yuppies show) who had passed away earlier in a helicopter accident. As the show ends Bono softly whispers, "Bill Graham is still in the building". Support is B.P. Fallon, "The Sugarcubes", and "Public Enemy".

"Elevation tour" - november 07, 2001 - Denver, CO - Pepsi Center - A fan is pulled on stage to perform All Along the Watchtower, which starts as an acoustic number, and eventually becomes a full band version. Edge wears this night "Born Free" (light blue) shirt.

Planmusic announces Vertigo in Brazil(February 2006) - November 8, 2005 - U2 come to Brazil to play two shows in February 2006 - Irish band U2 will play two shows in Brazil in February 2006, informed the press assistance of Planmusic, coordenated by Luiz Oscar Niemeyer, this Monday. Second this assistance, the negotiations to the shows in Brazil, are confirmed and, "as that all details of the new visit of the band to the country could be confirmed, Luiz Oscar Niemeyer will talk oficially".

It is reported that Bono paid tribute to the Go Betweens frontman, Grant McLennan, by singing a snippet of “Streets of Your Town�? As rehearsals indicated the band have included a few extra songs from All That You Can’t Leave Behind (Walk On and Kite) at the expense of a couple of songs from How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. Also, the concert marks the first time the band have performed the Saints Are Coming without Greenday. Angel of Harlem is also a song that was not widely played in 2005 and early 2006. Kite has closed a show, it featured a didgeridoo, and during the song, Bono flew and released a kite. During Angel Of Harlem, Bono sung "Young Australians" to the tune of Young Americans. Famous Vertigo Tour elements remain, such as the "coexist" segment in Sunday Bloody Sunday, the blindfold routine in Bullet The Blue Sky, the Human Rights Declaration segment before Pride, the Africa intro to Where The Streets Have No Name, and a speech relating to mobile phones before One. Sunday Bloody Sunday's speech segment began with Bono calling for David Hicks, an Australian held by the US in Guantanamo on suspicion of being a terrorist, to be returned to Australia in order to receive "a fair trial". On a lighter note, Bono made a funny comment at the start of his One speech: "look at that beautiful moon! Oh, it's a spotlight." Kite: Edge used one of his Gibson 70's Les Paul customs in cream colour and Bono used what looked like a black Gibson Hummingbird acoustic. Walk On: Bono used his Gretsch Irish Falcon, Edge used one of the Music Rising guitars, the black one with the Music Rising logo on it.
