UPDATE DECEMBER 15: last London Club tour / U2 film "New Year´s Day" video and Corbijn took some photos / a girl played very well / 108th 'VERTIGO' show: The return of Crumbs From Your Table and I Will Follow!!

"London Club" tour - december 15, 1979 - U2 perform the last London club scene date in Harrow Road, at Windsor Castle. After the last London club date, U2 return to Dublin disappointed because they had blown it in front of the record company people at the Hope & Anchor.

"Boy" tour - december 15, 1980 - U2 perform in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Bijou Cafe. After the show, U2 return to Ireland.

"Pre-War" tour - december 15, 1982 - U2 perform in Stockholm, Sweden at Konserthuset. During their stay in Sweden, U2 film the video for 'New Year's Day', which is to be the first single off the "War" album. U2 also ask photographer Anton Corbijn to take photographs for the inside of the albums' gate-fold cover. The show was a success.


"The Unforgettable Fire" tour - december 15, 1984 - U2 perform in San Francisco, California at the Civic Auditorium. After a break of 4 days, U2 perform in front of a relatively calm crowd of 8472 fans.

"LoveTown" tour - decenber 15, 1989 - The second night, Bono's voice seems to be somewhat better--it is still, however, rough. The pushing at the front of the stage is completely out of control, yet Bono doesn't comment on it. "Bad" contains some parts of "Norwegian Wind" and during "Angel of Harlem", he sings parts of Elvis Presley's "Suspicious Minds". A man is pulled up on stage to play along to "People Get Ready", but doesn't work out--Bono then searches for a girl, and pulls one up who is from Holland. She is able to play fairly well, and Bono calls out "I found me a woman!". After the song he congratulates her on a job well done and says to the crowd, "That just about put all those rock & roll animals back in their place. A young woman to beat the rest, than you Gerian!" Pepper's, Original of the Species, Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, Love and Peace or Else, Sunday Bloody Sunday - Rock the Casbah, Bullet the Blue Sky, Miss Sarajevo, Pride, Where the Streets Have No Name, One - All I Want Is You. Encore(s): Until the End of the World, Mysterious Ways, With or Without You, Stuck In a Moment You Can't Get Out Of, Crumbs From Your Table, Yahweh, 40. U2 performs in Nebraska for the first time. With no club dates in Omaha from 25 years ago to talk about, Bono instead chants 'Oh, Nebraska' early in the show. Bono sings a bit of 'Jesus Walks' during Vertigo. The return of Crumbs From Your Table and I Will Follow, two songs that have missed the last few shows, but Gloria's surprising run of consecutive appearances has come to an end.
