During Beautiful Day, Bono brings a girl on stage who's wearing a Santa Claus suit and sings bits of a couple Christmas songs. Norwegian Wood is performed by Bono alone on an acoustic guitar. U2 came to town for one of their rare concerts in Salt Lake City. This was a big event that drew a sold-out crowd at the Delta Center. Fans braved the freezing temps and waited in long lines, just to get into the Vertigo Tour. Rapper Kanye West opened for the Irish rockers, who have only played in Utah a handful of times.
