Hi hj! My Thanksgiving was very nice, thanks for asking! There was no carving involved with the turkey though, I cooked it in one of those oven bags & didn't know that the turkey would make plenty of it's own juice to keep it from drying, so I had added two cans of broth, & needless to say the turkey feel right off the bone, it looked like a carcass, not very prettty but tasted yummy! You have been posting some cool things lately! Thanks! |

Hi hj! How are you? Do you have a lot of snow yet? We have about 2 inches on the ground, & it has been bitter cold. I took the kids to this outside Holiday Nights thing at Greenfield Village, & we froze!!! It was so cold, we couldn't enjoy ourselves. I knew it was going to be cold & we dressed the right way, all layered up, hats, gloves, scarfs, boots, etc. & we were still miserable! We did get to see Santa & a real live reindeer named Blizzard, so that was fun! I hope things are good with you, talk to you soon! |
