It'd be nice lol But I don't think it'll happen. Most artists as popular as U2 like The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Coldplay, all have about the same price ticket.

I honestly don't care about the price, I just want to be able to get a ticket. I've never seen them live before and I really want to this time around.

The best chance you have of getting a ticket is to join U2.com and then, if they do what they did last time, they sell tickets to members there before they go on sale to the general public. I think I paid about $150 for one ticket and we were allowed to buy two for one show.

My problem is, yeah, the general admission for the mosh pit is cheap at $50, but I can't do the mosh pit for reasons I don't want to get into. I need seats. Also, I need to be able to buy at least three tickets.

But I did really appreciate and love my seats. I hope they do the same deal this time. I loved that!

I think U2 are selling their tickets at a fair price. They are well in line with other big acts out there. I also believe if you are a big fan you can afford the tickets because U2 only tour every 4 or 5 years. So actually you have a lot of time to save money for whatever ticket range you would like. If you set aside a little cash each week in a little U2 envelope it will be there when they tour. I know because I do stuff like that.

I think it's well worth seeing them, for sure.

I think the tix for Vertigo were fair price. I'm a member at U2.com and I got mine before the general public. I think I paid, for two tix, 130.00 total. I got GA. It was well worth it. I don't know what actual seats went for though. I think U2's tix price are cheaper than the Stones and other big names. When the Stones were here last year, one ticket was over a hundred dollars.

If I remember right, I paid $150 for each seat.

I did a little breakdown to help us with keeping the high priced seats for U2 or any concert cost in perspective.

Here it is:

If you set aside $5.00 per week x 52 weeks in a year it = $260.00
$260.00 per year x 4 years (based on the length of the Vertigo Tour in 2005 until the tour in 2009) it = $1040.00
Starting with September 2008, If U2 start the tour in March 2009 as speculated; you have 7 months to save. At $5.00 per week you'd save $140.00 in that time. At $10.00 you'd save up $280.00
Now, I would surely give up $5.00 per week for U2. So, when you look at it that way...the cost isn't too high.
P.S.--You may use this cheap breakdown scale to convince your parents, spouse, or skeptical individual that U2 are well worth your dime.
