LOL You poor thing. That's terrible. What's wrong with people? I used to hate it when people threw in apples or balls of popcorn. It's not like my mom was going to let me eat that stuff. |

Or you'd get people who'd throw in those little boxes of raisins. I'd waited all year for candy man. I wanted the hard stuff. LMAO |

I think it's really sad that nowadays, you have to take your kids to the police station to have the candy run under the metal detector. At least we do that here where I live. The police set up stations and you stand in line with cider and doughnuts and wait your turn with your bags of candy. |

Wow, really? That is sad. Who wants to spend halloween standing around a police station?! It is sad, as much as I loved halloween growing up, I think that by the time I have kids, I won't be able to trust my kids to go out at all because you can't trust anyone these days. I live in a small town and we all kind of know and trust eachother but even still, we are noticing less and less parents letting there kids out, everyone does the party thing now because it's safer, you know everyone. |

Isn't it, though? You dump your candy on a tray and they scan it for you. Then you scoop it back into your bag. It's time consuming but at least you know your kids are safe from weirdoes. |

Me too those were great!
I still think it's weird how people will give out, mints, like those starlight mints, the hard candies, & hard butterscotch candies, those are so easy for kids to choke on, & I always throw those right out. The suckers too, beause they never look like they are wrapped to tight. |

I always threw those hard candies away, too. I hate when they pass out jolly ranchers and stuff to little kids. What are they thinking? |
