HI BB!
Funny thing about the Thai food night...I went to go pick up my friends Tim and Neil to go to the Pad Thai restaurant and low and behold the Canadians Jr Gold medal game started a lot earlier than we had thought -- and the Oilers game was on at 7:30...but when we arrived at the restaurant they had no TV's.
So in true Canadian fashion we took our hockey loving butts over to Montana's grill and had some delicious steaks and some girl-drink-drunk (Pina Colada's and Daquiris) whilst watching our Canadian Boys take the Gold and The Oilers come back to beat the NY Islanders.
So no heartburn for this lady, just a wonderful evening out. I am counting my blessings that 2009 has really started off so magical for me.
Today another friend of mine called and said she would like to take me out to the Oilers game tonight (vs. Vancouver) to keep the birthday celebration going and so once again I am "forced" to do my favorite thing--Go see The Oilers!
Honestly, I should buy myself a lottery ticket! LOL!
