Howdy Wallerz! Last night the show was absolutely Fantabulous!!!! OMG! I wish you all could've been there...and yes I did think about ya's lol So, I promised a review so here it is!
The show began at 8:00 and Andrea and I got there at around 5:30. When we got in we were not inside the giant egg shaped stage, sad for us lol but we did get to stand outside of it about 5 rows back...so we weren't that far from the boys! The show kicked off with City of Blinding Lights which led into Vertigo and then a Kick ass version of Elevation! They played alot of the old tunes like An Cat Dubh...and Bono was crawling around the stage like a cat! groar! lol, Into the Heart, The Electric Co., and 40!
They play Running to Stand Still! It was so beautiful, I got teary eyed. I don't think Andrea and I have ever screamed together that much ever lol and that song led into an even more emotional SYCMIOYO, thats when I really lost it, we both just burst into tears.
They ended the show with One and for the encore they played 8 songs! They did Zoo Station, The Fly, Mysterious Ways, Original of the Species, All Because of You, Yahweh, 40 and another version of Vertigo!
One of my favorite songs was Love and Peace, that was awesome! It totally kicked major ass! Bono had that cute little get-up on with the head band and jacket, he banged on the drums and even let Larry sing a few lines!
I also got to go on stage with Bono....in the dream I had when I went to sleep last night lol As usual Bono brought a girl up during Yahweh, not me :( but it was fun and she looked sooo happy, I was happy for her! I was really close to touching Bono's hand during The Fly but he pulled away before I could reach...but he was right there, inches from me! It was incredible!!!
They also played The Cry, Beautiful day, Miracle Drug, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Bullet the Blue Sky, The hands that built America, Pride, Bad, and Where the Streets have no name!
The show was about 2 and 1/2 hours long...took about another 2 hours to actually get out of the place but it was sooo worth it!! I hope you all enjoyed my little review, I should have some pics soon, I have to get them developed...something I'm very slow at lol but when There U2 pics I'll be in a hurry to get them done lol
