hi shirley i just saw this and i had to respond. i myself dont have an amputation, but my sister in law is a double amputee, it was decided at birth due to birth defects. i know its a different situation than having the leg to begin with then losing it as apposed to ahve always had it, but i can relate.. my sister in law has told me some aweful stories about how ppl have treated her, and it just makes me sick. she has only one leg (just below her hip i think) and one arm.. well the one arm she has a sort of flipper and it amazing what she can do. she is working for the canadian govt, i cant say shes a nice person, she is pretty much a "im better than you "snot, but i just watned to say if you ever need to vent or just talk, im here for you, you have my im and my email i think.. if you dont have my email its my nic from here @rogers.com please dont send to hotmail as i dont use that for email... huggs suzy |
