<o:p> </o:p>
Everyday tons of trash is thrown out, broken, worn out or spent items are so easily disposed of. Empty cans, read newspapers, broken bottles make their way to the barren wasteland of the dump. To be buried, forgotten, lost in time. Having served their principal purpose they are no use anymore. Some of these items do survive, through recycling a small fraction of this waste is sorted out, reprocessed and eventually makes it way back to serve another purpose. Sometimes it’s same original purpose but most times into something special.
<o:p> </o:p>
Today’s world does the same thing with people, filling themselves to satisfy their own self-seeking needs or motives, then discarding them like an empty bottle. Its content consumed and now void, this bottle is thrown out of no use or value to its holder. Then they move on to the next and the practice becomes a brutal cycle. Constantly consuming and discarding, the path is relentless and never-ending.
<o:p> </o:p>
Being left behind bare, broken down, worthless and a sensation of no use or purpose, they lay waiting to be buried or have the scavengers to move in. picking up bits and pieces of the remnants.
<o:p> </o:p>
The God moves in not to sift through, but to reclaim what others consider to be junk and useless. To be used again, reshaped and molded into a new creation to be used for His divine purpose and Glory.
<o:p> </o:p>
Someone that the world has discarded or written off, can be lifted up and changed into something beyond their beliefs. A new and beautiful creation molded by the Masters hand, to serve God and glorify Him.
<o:p> </o:p>
Not everyone is just instantly changed, a cleansing of the heart and a desire to follow and serve. Refining and cleansing take time, patience and obedience are key ingredients. Then as God completes this work, lifting someone from the depths of despair (useless trash) into what he considers a masterpiece and valuable for His Kingdom.
