Good morning dear lady!  Sure do hope today is bein' good to you!  I've really surprised myself.  I had to had a digital cable box installed this morning and the remote that came with it has a gazillion buttons on it, but I haven't messed things up on it ~~~ YET!  LOL!!!  Ohhhhh, I will!!  It's only a matter of time before I'll be calling the cable company and crying for help.  Before we moved down here to Rocklin every once in awhile I'd have to call the cable co. up in Oroville.  It got to where all I had to do was tell them who I was and they would say, "Well, why don't we just reset things back to the default settings and go from there?"  I don't doubt that I gave those techs plenty to giggle about from time to time.  They would have heard alot more from me if Corey couldn't usually "fix" whatever I'd messed up.
what cha doin' today anyhow?  I've not got much going today outside of going up to the pharmacy and then to the bank.  I'm switching all of my prescriptions from one pharmacy to another because the one I've been using for over 3 years now, has just made too many mistakes and I'm tired of having to check things out before I start using a jug of medication.  I've done all of the preliminary stuff for the switch online, but now I need to go up there, read and sign all the paperwork and authorize them to charge my insurance providers.  After that, I won't even have to call them for refills.  It will be done automatically and it will all be delivered to me if I don't pick it up within 3 days of the email they send me.  I think that's pretty kewl!  And they don't even charge for deliveries!!
I'm just going to switch a couple of things around at the bank.  I want to have to carry very little cash with me so I'm going to talk with them about what they think would be the best way to go about doing that and still not have any problems with paying my monthly bills and stuff.  From what I've been told by a couple of my friends a VISA or MasterCard debit card sounds like the best way to go.  I'll just have to wait and see.  Noooooooo, I will NOT put any of my banking information online!!  No, no, no!!  I've seen what a huge problem that can become for folks.  Companies thinking they can take payments out of your accounts whenever they feel like it, identity theft and all the other "stuff" you risk when doing online banking.  I've never really trusted banks that much to begin with so this is going to be a big step with me --- if I really do break down and leave my money in the bank and operate with a plastic card instead of cash.  I'm still not all that convinced that it's a really good idea yet.  LOL!!
Once I get those 2 things taken care of I think I'm going to come home, put my swimsuit on and go be lazy in the swimming pool for a couple of hours or so.  After that it will probably be dinner time and then time to water my flower beds and my neighbors.  (they're gone on a 3 week vacation and asked me to keep an eye on their flowers and stuff.)  I don't mind at all.  They talk to their plants and flowers just like I do so all will be fine.
While I was sitting on my front porch early this morning, trying to wake-up, I was watching this young Hummingbird fighting off all of the larger, older Hummingbird's and keeping them from eating out of the other little spouts on the feeder.  He had decided that was HIS feeder and nobody else was gonna mess with it.  He was bound and determined that nobody was messin' with it outside of himself.  It was hilarious because he would no sooner get his tiny little beak into one of the spouts and another one would come flitting down and try to get some of the sugar water I keep in it.  He would "buzz" at them and then chase them off, come back, try to eat and have to chase off another and another.
There is a finch next in the roof of my porch, right above my rocking chair, and mama finch had her 3 babies out today -- teaching them to fly.  Ms Chickie was outside with me and was watching them and jabbering back and forth with them.  I was getting the biggest kick out of watching her interact with the finches as you could see her trying to encourage the babies to fly.  She would flap her big old wings and bounce up and down on her feet, just like she was going to fly up, up and away.  (I keep her wings trimmed so she can't fly).  I don't think she would ever try to fly away, but I'm not planning on taking any chances either.  I would be devastated if I ever lost her.  She's like one of my kids to me!!  She will, no doubt, outlive me.  If they're kept healthy and happy they will live for 50 to 75 years of age!!  Corey keeps a really good bond with her too so that when I do pass on she will still have someone she knows and trusts to take care of her.  When I go away for the week-end Corey will come stay here with her.  Most of the time while he's watching her he will take her everywhere he goes.  Next week-end there is a camp-out for all Cherokee members in this area, so he will be staying with her then.  I could take her with me to it, but there will be alot of young children there and I'm always afraid she might hurt one of them.  She's never bit anyone, but she gets hyper when there's little ones be-bopping around her, so I keep a really close reign on her at those times.  Besides, I haven't gone anywhere overnight in several months so this camp-out will be good for me.  I just hope the weather is nice that week-end!!  Sometime this week-end I have to get over to the storage unit we share and get the tent and camping gear out, set it up and make sure everything is in good shape.  I'll set the tent up for a day or 2 and let it air out real good.  I think I need to buy a new little propane tank for the cook-stove too.  Probably one for the little propane frig also.  I'm REALLY, REALLY looking forward to going.  There will be alot of drumming and music.  I love it!!!  And I have ALWAYS enjoyed sitting outside around a campfire!!  One of the best places to be if ya ask me!!
Ok kiddo, if I'm going to get stuff taken care of so I can go play lazy bum in the pool I guess I'd best get myself in motion, huh?  LOL!!!
Create a good one for yourself today, ok?
Love to ya!
Moki

Hi Girl,

I started my day off kind of like yours.  Sitting out watching the birds.  That is so calming.  I haven't seen my little wrens lately.  The little angels are coming tomorrow, so they will probably show up for them, I hope.

I went to the doc today.  That was horrible and such a confusing mess.  They are telling me now that they don't take my insurance and haven't taken it.  I have had Humana for over a years and they are just telling me this now!!  I had a over $700 test done a month ago today they say I have to pay $495 of that!!  I was nuts.  I didn't even see my doc today.  I came home crying and talked with my daughter.  She always can take care of things like this.  I just go to pieces.  I have been with this doc since 1999, I am not going to leave her either.  But my daughter said we will take care of it and for me to just rest and calm down.  So honestly I didn't have a very good day.  And darn you there you are out there in the swimming pool.  My son says we are going to get one next fall.  This is his property and we have the biggest back yard in the whole area around me, so there is plenty of room for that.  I know the little angels will surely love that.

I can just see your bird now.  I love birds.  I had a friend who had the smartest bird I had ever heard of.  His name is Jacob.  I forget what kind he was, but he was rescued from some little island.  She worked with a rescue group that went there and saved them from being extinct.  She said the natives were killing them all so they could eat the breasts only.  He is a very pretty bird with lots of difference colors.  He had a little motorcycle he rode skates, just really smart.  He talked even.

I bet Missy Chickie was so happy to see those babies and was trying to help mom teach them to fly.  Jabbering away huh?  I can just hear it.  I watched Blue Jays chasing crows today.  So very funny.  I can't imagine that little tiny hummer chasing anything.  But they are fiesty.  I love to watch the squirrels too.  So sweet.  We are just animal lovers aren't we?

I have never heard of those type patterns you said.  I have made my own patterns though.  Made some for some overall jumpers for my little girls and for a big arm chair, rocker that I upholstered too.  It is more fun and just relaxing to sew things I think.  Gives you a great reward when you see it on and know it isn't gonna fall apart like you said.  Or as soon as you get it home it looks awful on you.  haha  That is what I hate.  So I just try not to shop for anything for myself.  I can't go into Walmart without going into the material section though.  Might find something I just must have.  They are always getting some new stocks of really cute buttons for my girls.  I haven't figured out how to use my button hole attachment yet, I got a new machine.  It is very frustrating.  It won't let you sew at all if you don't have it on properly.  But I just don't understand it, ha.  So I am doing some snaps, decorated ones, makes it easier.

I will have a great day tomorrow to make up for today.  I am taking my sewing machine on the back porch with the girls.  They will fix me up with a sewing room in their house, ha.  It is lots of fun playing with them.  I got to be their housecleaner and they paid me $50 because I did such a great job for them.  Didn't take them that long to mess up all my good work though.  But they are learning to make sure to pick up after themselves so they won't have to pay me anymore!  They have a living room, kitchen, bedroom and a beauty shop area!  Not sure where my sewing room will be, but sure they will tell me, ha ha .  Kids are just the greatest.  My daughter will always say, Mom do you care, and before she says it I say yes of course they can spend the nite with me!!  Which they will be doing this Saturday nite, we will be having our usual Girls Party.  It is hard thinking up different things to serve and do!!

I was so sure I was going to be able to get something for this terrible should and arm pain today.  But left without anything but tears.  I will call my PCP tomorrow and have him get me something.  I can't take it much longer especially when it keeps getting worse all the time.

Well I must get busy doing my work in here so I can get to bed early tonite.  It was 4am before I hit it last nite and my bratty boys woke me at 7:30!!  I wanted to tell them to go potty on the floor!! haha but of course I didn't.

You take care and be careful being out in the sun all day being lazy.  What a life you got it made girl.  Don't we wish we really did?  I do!  But must be grateful for what I do have.

Oh yes my son got approved today for all his schooling.  So government or SS is going to pay everything for him.  He is really jazzed about this, his word not mine.   ha ha   I am just so happy that he doesn't have to hang up his life and will I pray be able to do something.  He has always done physical labor, so accounting is really going to be a switch for him.  I pray he can make it all work for him.

Love you lots and will talk with you tomorrow if  the girls allow me computer time, haha!!

Cylene

Are you playing Connect 5 this go around?  You better I don't want Sassy winning every game.  I wanna win too, haha.  Big baby here!

I collect tea pots and I got the most gorgeous one today at Goodwill for just $3.  I have gotten most of the ones I have from there or Salvation Army.  My girls are always on the look out for them too
