Let's see here.  I just finished taking my handful of evening time pills, I have a nice tall glass of pineapple/orange juice sitting on the desk, next to me, and my dinner is in the oven.  Sounds like a good thing to me.  That means my day is winding down and the week-end is officially here.  YES!!!

My aide called early this morning and wanted me to go to Best Buy with her and help her buy a camera just like mine.  She was pretty disappointed when I told her that they wouldn't stock it there because I had it customized to what I wanted on it when I ordered it.  I told her that I was sure we could find a good one that she would be able to use and like it also.  We really found a good deal for her too!!  It's a 300.00 camera, but because it was the last one on a close-out sale she got it for 199.!  It's got a 12X optical zoom on it and 7.2MP.  It has almost all the bells and whistles that mine has except it wont take the b/w or sepia pics.   I told her to stop and think how often she would probably want to use those features and that she knew she was welcome to use mine or take me with her and I'd take the pics for her and email them to her.  The first clerk that she was talking with tried to sell her a really crappy one that came with a tiny little printer.  He was really trying to push her into buying it.  She finally told him to leave her alone and that she would find another sales clerk.  LOL!!  The 2nd clerk seemed to know alot more about camera's than that first character did and he sold her something I think she will like quite well.  She's bi-polar so gets a little wiggy sometimes when she doesn't understand stuff, but I really think she will be able to handle that camera without any confusion.  I reminded her that she can always come to me and I'll help her out with it too.  She's always worrying that she bugs me by asking for help with stuff alot.  I keep telling her that if I felt like she was bugging me that I would just flat out tell her to knock it off, so she settled down and got serious about what camera she wanted.  LOL!!  I even bought myself a new tripod for my camera.  They had some really nice ones there on sale, for $20.00, so I bought one that has 2 level bubbles on it and can hold just about any camera on the market that's meant to be used on a tripod.  It even came with a carrying case and a spare quick-release attachment for the bottom of the camera!  After that we went to Wal-Mart and hit the clearance racks...LOL!  Lordy but I made out like a bandit too!!  I bought 6 pairs of cotton shorts for $1.00 each, 5 short-sleeved cottom blouses for $1.50 each and a pair of Dr. Scholl's sandals for $6.00!  Yup!  Made out like a bandit!!!  By then we were both pretty hungry so we went to Arby's and had some lunch.  Then we came home and she packed her car and headed for the Bay Area as her neice is graduating tomorrow night and she wanted to attend.  I came home a puttered around for a while a took a nap.  A 3 hour nap!  Nothin' lazy bout me, huh?  I don't have anything outside of relaxing planned for the week-end.  The weather is suppossed to stay really nice so I'll probably spend the better part of it in the swimming pool.  Just floating around and relaxing.  Have a dominoes game Sat. evening and that's it.  Oh, I forgot!  We stopped at Walgreen's on our way home so I could pick-up my prescription refills that were waiting.  Ya know, I remember when I was younger, a day with all of this stuff in it was a slow day.  What a change though -- the older I get the more tired out I get when doing a big mess of runnin' around.  I've really slowed down alot in the past couple of years.  It doesn't bother me much now, but it used to really irritate me.  I was ALWAYS on the go!  Heck, I couldn't keep up with what I used to be anymore if I tried!!  I'm sure that once my body figured out what I was trying to do it would collapse on the ground and just sit there laughing at me.  Oh well, we all have to slow down our pace of life sooner or later.  It's just sooner for me is all.

Ok kiddo, the timer just went off so that means my dinner is ready to take outta the oven.  I hope you have a nice, restful evening!  Take care and I'll talk with you again later on.

Love to ya,

Moki

Hey you,
I have had a pretty restful day.  My little girls came up for a couple of hours this afternoon.  It was so hot outside I was thrilled to be able to talk them into staying inside.  I really don't think they cared, they were both hot and tired.  They had Vacation Bible School till noon, so they played outside there.  So I found a good cartoon movie for them and we watched that.  While they were watching I cut out a little capri set for Shaylin and started sewing the pants up and messed them up some how.  So I started to take them apart, feeling sick at my tummy.  I decided I would just leave it alone till tomorrow.  Daniel and I had some pizza, which he shouldn't have, but had this terrible craving for.  He is 32 and much bigger than me, I can't hold him back.  Plus he knows what he can have and what he can't.  I usually just eat things he is suppose to also, doesn't matter to me.
My mailbox is much better today, thank goodness.  If it had said 1,000 in there I would have thrown this computer out the window, haha.  Nah, but it would have made me truly freaky, Freaky Friday.
Sounds like you had a full day.  Those bargains you got at Walmart, darn I have never seen any good buys like that at our Walmarts.  But good for you honey.  I am not a good person with a camera, but I hate to have my picture taken also. haha  I had taken that pic of me that I posted on signing in board with my web cam. haha  Just so I could post it.  Did you post a pic of yourself in your profile or anywhere?  You should just so I know who I am talking to.  It is always easier to talk to a face you know, right?  So I will expect you to post one in here on your next post!!
I fall out too when I do so many things in one day.  After having my little angels for the week end, Monday I am not worth a nickle.  I usually have to stay in bed and sleep all day.  I just don't sleep so much when they are here.  My fault though.  I just keep checking on them all night.  Just ole silly Grammy.  They will be spending this week end because their Mom and Dad are both working Saturday night.  They will be here before noon tomorrow and won't go home until late Sunday, probably around 5 or 6.  Then the next Thursday they leave for Orlando and will be going to Universal Studios.  They are going to be camping and they love that.  Of course they have a camper they pull along with their van.  I am so glad all 4 of them love that.  The girls are at the best age now to take them all sorts of places.  And are just so innocent and excited that they are just so much fun.
We got a new member apply and he/she left it all blank.  I wrote, so we will see if we hear back.  If not it will be deleted.  have several I am going to delete tomorrow.  I give them a date to write back by and tell them I will be deleting, so now surprize there.  The Indian man has not written me either.  He really sounded like he could use the companionship and caring the group would give him.  But I can't make them, you know.  Like you, I couldn't have made you write me back, but you did, so here we are!  Made myself a real pal, one I have come to love now.  It is great.
I am going to see if I can post a few important things in the room.  This always comes first, ha.  Is it that way for you?  I gotta see what you have done for the day.  Then of course you have to tell me you are lazing around in the pool, stinker!  I thought you were going camping this week end?  Did you decide not to?
I will see you later just hanging around here.  We are doing a great job in our messages.  And you only have to do 4 posts for the whole month.  I can't imagine only doing that, can you?  We are just jabber-mouths.  I see that already!
Puzzler and I were online about the same times last nite.  I was either posting ahead of her or I was behind her.  It was funny.  We have done that a lot lately so she left me a post checking on me.  I thought that was so sweet.  I sure hope she will be able to Buddy Chat next month.  I think she is going to be a good friend also.
You behave missy.  I won't be following Puzzler tonite, soon as I do a few posts I will be in the bed.  Between my shoulder and my head, can't tell where the pain is the worst.  Don't think sitting here is helping that much anyway.
Sorry you lost your post honey.  You better stop going to sleep at the desk.  I think your body is getting tired of that and decided to remove something you had worked on.  To pay you back for the sore neck or whatever!!  Neck -1    Moki - 0!!
Love you lots,
Cylene

Good morning my dear friend!  It's nice to come in here when I'm only half awake and see a note from a friendly face...LOL!!  It helps my brain wake-up.  Seems it takes it's own sweet time about things lately.
No, the camping thing is next week-end.  I REALLY, REALLY want to go, but I've got to find a tent or a camper.  My tent is in the dumpster now.  It was so thread bear I was afraid to try and use it.  It probably couldn't have stood up under the pressure of being stretched out on that wooden frame!!  I've been trying to get ahold of a friend of mine on the res up north because I know he has a tent I could borrow, but I figure he and his family will be going to that camp-out too.  I could use a credit card and buy one, but I really don't want to.  I might thought because there are several pow-wow's I'm planning on going to this summer plus I think I'd get away from here more often if I had a good tent again.  I'll probably go out hunting for one the first part of next week.  Maybe even tomorrow....LOL!
I admire you being able to spend all the time you do with your grandkids.  I hope I can do the same when my son starts his family.  I've already have all sorts of stuff crocheted and knitted for them.  LOL!!
Doesn't it drive you nutty when you mess up something that you're sewing?  I put the bodice of a dress I made myself together inside-out not too long ago.  I was ready to beat my head against a wall when I did it because I had fitted it to me and even had the seams pressed open before I noticed it!  Then I had to take it all apart and start over again!  Grrrrrr!!!
I've thought of throwing this puter out the window several times myself when it comes to trying to keep up with my email.  LOL!!  I don't know if I'll ever be able to keep up with things.  Heck, I feel lucky if I'm able to read through all the stuff I get from each person and then send one reply hoping that I've covered all of the stuff they've spoken of in several emails.
The Wal-Mart that I go to is one of the smaller ones and they've always had their "closeout" racks.  You can usually find some great bargains on those racks.  You may end up with alot of clothes made the same way, but they're different colors or prints so nobody is going to think you're wearing the same thing everyday.  They'll just think "Dang, doesn't that weirdo ever wear any style outside of THAT one?"  LMAO!!  I don't really give a hoot though.  If it's comfy, then it's mine!
I'm not to fond of having my picture taken either.  I'm far from being photogenic, but I figure if someone wants their camera ruined then I'll let them take a pic.  tee hee!  Lemme see if I've got enough storage space to post a pic of myself right here.  Hang on a sec!

There ya go!!!  I took it myself in the bathroom mirror!!!  If you want it, save it, because I'll need to delete it in order to have some storage space again.  I'm forever running out of storage space!  I'm just not willing to pay MSN even 2¢ for additional storage space when they're always making things difficult for us anyway.  I can go into my account and delete a few other things for now, but I usually have to keep deleting things that are more than a couple of days old or I can't post anything that I haven't copied from something in my system.  Yeah, I agree that it's easier to talk with someone when you can put a face to them.  Our faces say ALOT about us.  It's pretty difficult to lie to a camera.  LOL!!!  I've always enjoyed photography.  I've just never had the money to pursue it as a full-time career.

I know what you mean about not sleeping too well when your little angels are with you.  It's that "mama instinct" that kicks in I think.  Heck, Corey is 24 yrs. old now and to this day, whenever he spends the night here I can hear every breath he takes during the night.  Even though he sleeps in the living room and I'm in my bedroom.  When he was a newborn I had his crib next to my bed.  I would lay awake at night just listening to him breathe and being so very thankful that the good Lord had given him to me to care for.  I firmly believe that it's the mothering instinct in women that makes us that way.  I wouldn't trade it for the whole wide world though.  No way, no how!!

I think it's a wonderful idea that you take the time to write to each person that applies to belong to Windzzzz. You do a fantastic job of managing this group and you've got top-notch assistants to help you also!!

I always look forward to coming into Windz every morning.  I check my email to see if I've heard from a couple of folks that mean the world to me first.  I'll answer their notes and then head straight here.  I also belong to an online support group for folks with Myasthenia Gravis, a Native American group, and a group of folks that have been together online for over 12 years now.  We used to have alot of get-togethers and stuff, but alot of them have left the group or have gotten married and gone on with the lives and we don't hear from them anymore.  With MSN closing down the chatrooms, that's had a big affect on us.  We've been through several changes in chat venues and decided not to try to find another place to chat at when MSN shut things down because there weren't that many of us left anymore.  We stay in touch through emails and phone conversations and a couple of get-togethers each year and that's about it.  I've yet to figure out why I can't get into Windzzz chatroom!!  I'm all signed up at the site.  I just cannot get "into" the chat section of the site.  I'm not all that worried about it though.  I can stay in touch with folks via the message boards and emails, but it would be nice to have some spontaneous chat now and then.  Oh, I'll keep trying to get in there!  Don't worry about that!  I kinda think it has somethng to do with the security level I have this system set at, but I'm not willing to take a chance on having this machine ruined by a virus, worm, trojan or anything else.  Been there, done that, and am not going to have it happen again.  It cost me a pretty penny the first time it happened.

I cannot imagine only talking four times with a buddy chatter!!  My word!  You barely get a start at knowing them with only 4 conversations!!  Hmmmm, maybe it DOES have something to do with me bein' a jabber jaws??  Ya think???  ROFLMAO!!!

Ok hun, you create a good one for yourelf today, and I'll do the same.  Many blessing to ya, my friend!

Much love,

Moki

Ok, I'm just about to fall asleep here in front of my computer again, so I'd best get myself into bed.
Have had a perfect day!  The weather was good, even though it got mighty muggy outdoors, I didn't have to go to any doctor's appointments or have blood drawn for more lab tests, and heck --- I even won the Saturday evening dominoes game!!  Whooped the socks off of them is more like it.  Lowest score wins and I had 195.  All the rest of them had over 4 and 5 hundred!!  (amazing what will tickle our fancy when we bcome senior citizens, huh?  LOL!!!)   It really felt kind of weird not having a mess of stuff that I had to run hither and yon for.  I even spent a couple of hours just floating around in the swimming until I started looking like a beached whale!  I love the water anyway.  Always have!  I practically grew up on a lake and then the first couple of homes I had on my own were on lakes also.  I totally enjoy driving a couple of hours over to the ocean and just go sit on the shoreline watching the waves roar in and then pull back out to sea.  If you listen closely, it will talk to you.  No silly, nothing like (Hi Moki!  You look like you're having a good day!)  It's just a "thing" that I have with it.  It talks and I listen.  I listen a whole lot too!  I cannot count the times I've been able to solve problems that I've had haunting me, because I took the time to talk to the sea.  Rod McKuen, a famous poet from our times, wrote a poem/song called "My Friend, The Sea."  I'll have to look through his books and see if I can find it and then I'll email it to you.  I'm sure you'd like it!!
Anyway, it's 12:31 in the morning and I'm just absolutely on the verge of zonking out for the night so.........I'll say good-night for tonight and have sweet dreams my dear friend.
Much love,
Moki
