Hi Moki,

I so hate that you feel bad.  Hope today awakens you doing much better.  Sounds like you are coming down with something.  Please don't pass it this way!

I have been in bed for 2 days now.  I don't know why either.  I slept off and on, mostly on, all day Thursday and Friday I slept all day until 7:30 at nite!!  I couldn't believe it.  No way I could wake up I tried too.  My eyes would not open.  So it was a worthless cause.  Sorry I didn't at least get on to talk with you.  I couldn't have seen if I had.  No telling what you would have read, haah.

Today I have been up since 5:30.  Woke with a horrible headache.  I think I was so tensed up in my sleep the muscles are sore.  I took something and drank some juice, just in case I needed something for that horrid disease.  I was pretty shaky.

I know my doc tells me to just really cut back, ha, he would flip to know what little I do eat.  So cutting back from what I eat now would mean eat nothing, ha.  But I have tried to eat better, but of late I can't eat hardly at all.  Nothing tastes good to me.  But I will try better.  Glad we have a few more things in common, not!!  I have had my thyroid removed a number of years ago.  Goiter and it wouldn't shrink, it was strangling me.  But I still think my levels aren't correct, though they keep telling me they are.  Because I was told I should be careful with all the weight that I would lose afterward.  Oh brother.

I will be  having my little girls today, so am going to get room things done beforehand because I won't be back online while they are here.  Might turn it on to show them some sigs several of my tagger friends have made them, but nothing more.  Of course Kenzie will probably want to play with her game.  I am not sure though I have thought about lots of things for us to do.  I almost called my daughter to tell her I wasn't sure about watching them because of being in bed and not knowing why.  But later last nite I thought I might live and I know they make me feel better everytime I see them.  Like Oxygen, you know?  Well one day you will, believe me, they are the best ever.

So I guess I will get started.  I am backed up since I wasn't online yesterday.  Seems so many are enjoying the games I posted.  I am glad of that.  This group is a gaming bunch!  ha  Yet some don't really like all the games and the jokes.  So maybe it will even it all out.

You please take care and let me know if you need me for something.

Lots of Love to you,

Chicken Soup coming your way too

Awww, thank you for the sweet get well wishes! That background is gorgeous! I'm working on trying to learn how to make the different background shapes.  I need to put it on "hold" right now though, until I'm feeling better, because your mind can't concentrate to well when you're spending more time with the porcelin god than you are anywhere else. LOL!  I'm getting a little concerned about things because this is how I felt a little over a year ago when I ended up in the hospital in complete renal failure. There's a few "signs" that aren't in full-swing just yet, so there's not alot I can do but take care and wait it out.  I'm already on antibiotics and some herbs to try and calm the tummy cramps so it's just a waiting game now. I'm sayin' my prayers and crossin' my fingers that I don't land in the hospital again. I hate that place with a passion!
I sure do hope you get to feeling better also m'dear lady!  I know how much you loves those precious little angels of yours, but maybe you would be better off just taking a few days off of having them at your place while you get to feeling better. I kinda know what you're talking about when you say they're like a breath of fresh air for you.  There are a few little ones around here that are grandkids to my neighbors that I've gotten pretty attached to. They bring so much innocent joy into my life it's hard to believe. Those sweet, little creatures are so innocent and yet so trusting of me. It makes me feel soooooo wonderful when one of them crawls up in my lap and give me one of those little hugs and slobbery kisses.  I can almost see the sun glittering off of me when they do things like that.  They really makes life worth while don't they.  I might not have any grandkids from my own family just yet, but I have plenty of adopted ones. They all know I'm good for a few stories, or a walk in the park, or a ride in my power chair over to the wetland to watch the birds and learn to make the sounds that the birds make.  I'm just a real sucker for those little angels.  I've made a couple of matching sun dresses for the 2 little grand-daughters of the folks that live 2 doors down from me.  They're 3 & 4 yrs. old and think it's pretty neat to have clothes that match.  The sundresses are just the basic little flouncy, gathered around the top with a band on it and then small straps over their shoulders with little matching shorts to cover their panties. I used the scraps from some white t-shirt material with lady bugs on leaves on it. I even had enough small pieces left to make little sun visor covers for them.  I just cut the scrapes into smaller pieces and stitch them together at different angles so that they cover one of those little sunvisors that you can slide on like a headband.  Take a glue gun to it and bingo! A decorated sunvisor! LOL!
Yes, it does look like folks are enjoying all of those games.  I enjoy some games, but truly enjoy word games like scrabble and then, of course, dominoes.  There's a group of us here that have played dominoes, three nights a week, ever since this place opened up 3 years ago.  Don't know what it is that I enjoy so much, but I do.  I think it's got alot to do with the others that play it.  It's a great bunch of really down-to-earth folks and we have a great time together.  To listen to us you would think we were brothers and sisters sometimes.
Well dearie, I best close this out for now and get some breakfast for me and the bird. She's getting a little upset with me about not having her oatmeal just yet.  I think I"ll let her eat most of it. I don't really feel like eating much right now.  I know, I know, I have to eat enough to keep my blood sugar from getting screwy and making things worse and I will.  It's still well within the safe zone.  I'm doing everything I know to do in order to stay out of that hospital.  LOL!!
Take care dearie and I'll yack with you again later.
Love,
Moki

Hi kiddo!  Well, my doc called in a couple of prescriptions for me to take to help make me feel better and they seem to be working! Yes!!  Am sooo happy! The last place I want to end up at again is the hospital.  I just absolutely hate it there.  You can't get any rest because someone is always coming in your room and poking and prodding on you, giving you shots of this and that and waking you up to see if you want a sleeping pill.  The last time I was there my room was right across the hall from the nurses' station so, even with my door closed, I could hear them talking and laughing all night long.  About drove me batty.  I argued with my doctor about letting me go home a couple of days before he was planning.  I had my aide come up and talk with the doc and he seemed satisfied that she could take good enough care of me for me to go home.  Heck, there wasn't much for her to do the first couple of days because all I did was sleep.  LOL!  I caught up on all the sleep I missed!  There's nothing like your own bed either.  Those hospital beds leave sooooo much to be desired.  The one I had was suppossed to be an air mattress, but the danged thing would stay inflated and my back was so flippin' sore after the first couple of days I could hardly stand up.  They claimed they didn't have any other beds that they could swap mine out with.  I still think they were just to lazy to do it, but oh well.  I mean I cannot figure a hospital not having spare beds somewhere.  It's not like the place was filled to capacity.  I was in the renal unit so there were plenty of open beds.  Ha! I remember the 2nd night I was there......oh lordy I had a nurse mad at me!!  I couldn't get to sleep on that bed so I curled up on the built in couch underneath the window in my room and covered myself up.  A nurse came in to give me some medication and had one heck of a hissy when she saw me sleeping on the couch.  Gawd she was mad at me.  I told her that I had to do something! She said she was going to call my doc if I didn't get back into bed, so I told her to go ahead, but I wasn't movin' off of that couch.

So, how's you day with your little grand daughters gone?  I hope you've all had a good time together.  I also hope that you aren't wearing yourself out by having them so much of the time.  You take good care of yourself, ok?

Well dear lady, it's after 11 PM here and I'm pretty tired out so think I'll go post in a few spots and then call it a night.  I hope you're sleeping soundly right now and having some sweet dreams.  You deserve them.

I'm headed for bed!  Take care and many blessings to ya lady!

Love,

Moki
