Hey there Missy Cylene!!  Lookie what I've finally figured out how to do!!  I'm so proud of myself!!  I know, I know, this one is pretty bright and gawdy, but, now that I have the idea of how to build these puppies I'll get all the "bugs" worked out.  I was digging through a mess of stuff I have in a notebook because I knew I had the basic directions somewhere and I found what kind sounded famaliar so I tried it and bingo!!  Look out world! Moki's on a roll now!  LMAO!!

I'm sitting here messin' around on my puter and watching Ms Chickie splash water all over the kitchen floor...LOL!  She loves to play in water so every morning it sit a big glass roasting pan (about 3" high) on the floor on top of a couple of beach towels and fill it about ½ way with water and let her entertain herself. Sometimes she gets sloppy wet and other times she takes one of her toys and splashes water all over the place.  Hey, it's good for her.  Keeps her skin from getting dry and chalky and she's not hurting anything.  I just get the mop out and clean up the water when she's finished.  I hang the towels outside to dry and all is well.  LOL!

I hope you're having a good week-end with those little angels of yours and not over-doing it. Are you feeling any better, hun?  I sure am.  My doc called in some meds to the pharmacy for me yesterday and I'm feeling 100% better today. Noooo, I'm not going to be outside running a 50 yard dash or anything, but at least I'm not having an affair with the porcelin god anymore!!  The swelling in my legs has gone down considerably too.  Legs are lookin' like real legs again instead of old tree trunks.  They're starting to swell a bit, but nothing compared to the past few days.  It will settle down within a few more days though.

My son called last night to check on me and we had a neat talk.  I'm so proud of how he and his lady are planning their lives together.  They asked me a couple of months ago to draw out a house for them.  They gave me the ideas they had for it and I finished it last week and gave it to them.  He said last night that they had gone up to their property and have a few changes for me to do.  That's not a problem.  I always keep copies of the homes I draw so I can do the changes for them pretty easily.  I even get to design my little mother-in-law's cabin that will be built on the back 5 acres of their property!!  It's going to probably be 4 - 5 years before they build, but they're going about all of this the right way.  They want to pay-off the property before they start building.

Well kiddo, it looks like the bird is done messin' around in the water for the day so I'll go clean up her mess and get on with today.

You take good care of you and give those little angels each an extra hug and kiss from ol'  Ms Moki, ok?

Many blessings to ya lady!!

Love,

Moki

Hello there again m'dear lady. I hope by now you are all snuggled down in your bed, sound asleep and having sweet dreams.  You've got to be plum tuckered out tonight girlie.

I didn't do much today, but I was on my feet way too much and I'm all swollen up again.  I've got a scheduled appt. with the doc on Tuesday morning so I'll talk with her about it then.

My son came by for a short while.  He was in between church services and had to get going to the Sunday night service because he was preaching, but I had some stuff for me.  He gave me one of those solar operated thingies that has your street address on it.  It's a northwoods style and has a solar panel on the top of it.  There wasn't any sun left today, but it will sit all day in the sun tomorrow and I'll be able to see it light up tomorrow night.  He also gave me 2 beautiful towel sets and one of those temporpedic pillows from Bed, Bath & Beyond.  Oh! Also one of those small chrome trash cans that you step on a peddle and it opens up.  There's a little bucket like do-dad inside it with a handle on it and when it's full, you just lift it out and empty it!  I've been changing my bathroom all around to chrome and white wicker stuff with faint purple colored Iris scattered on different things.  Those 2 towel sets are a real faint purple with white satin like material underneath a purple iris design.  They look sooooo pretty in there.  My shower curtain is a white sheer panel with the faint purple iris in it too.  He surprises me with nice gifts every now and then.  He always seems to know when I could use a little pick-me-up.

I am really tired this evening so I would imagine I'll be crawling into bed within the next hour or so.  Right around 10.  I'm going to go out in the living room and watch the rest of a movie I started a while ago and then call it a night.

You sleep well tonight and I'll talk with you tomorrow.

Much love,

Moki

Good mornin' my friend!  Sure do hope today is going to be a good one for you?  Things are a little scarey here right now.  There is a horrible wild fire running rampant up in the South Lake Tahoe area, about a 45 min. drive from my home.  It has taken out over 200 homes so far and they have no idea of when they will get it under control.  Several of the folks that live in this complex "had" homes up there or their kids "had" family homes up there. Alot of the homes that have been lost are homes that have been passed down through several generations of families.  One of my neighbors kids got out within minutes of the big propane tank in their back yard exploding.  They said they felt the earth rumble as they were driving away, turned to look and saw their home exploding into flames.  I know what they're going through as I had to stand in the street and watch a home of mine go up in flames many years ago and I'm still terrified of another house fire.  One of the fire chiefs that were interviewed on the early news this morning was saying that one side of the fire was within 300 feet of the city.  With 50 mph steady winds and gusts alot more powerful than that they're doing everything they can to keep it from getting to the downtown area.  One of the shots the newscasters showed was about a 4 block radius where every home on the streets had been burned to the ground except for 1. It looked like it may have some minor roof damage, but I'm tellin' ya, it looks like a site that a nuclear bomb was exploded in.  Would you please say some prayers for all of those folks, the wild life and everything else in that area?  They've got over 800 fire fighters up there with another 1,000 on their way from Nevada and Oregon.  The smoke has been so heavy this morning that visibility is not good enough to get the helicopters and airplanes up that could be dropping water and fire retardent.  I wish there was something I could do for some of those folks who have lost their homes outside of comfort them and let them talk it out.

Well, outside of that, there isn't much "news" from this side of the country.  How's things going for you?  Have you been able to get some rest from the week-end with your little angels?  I hope so.  I'm feeling better today.  The swelling isn't as bad in my legs and I seem to be eliminating fluid alot better than I have been for the past several days.  That's a good sign!!!  I was soooo worried that this kidney of mine was going to shut down again!!  I haven't been eating right, but I haven't been able to keep much in me anyway!  I seem to be able to keep noodle soup, water and 7-Up in me though.  I even had some oatmeal for breakfast yesterday and today.  I tried to eat some other stuff yesterday, but it didn't agree with me too well.

Ok, you take care and get some rest dearheart.  Will talk with you later on.

Many blessings to ya lady!

Love,  Moki
