Good morning everyone. I do hope that today will be a good one for you. Am pretty 'scattered' in my mind right now. My son went to a lake with another man yesterday and all I've been told is that their trucks got stuck at the lake but they're alright. He didn't bother to tell me if his truck is stuck in a mud hole, in a sand mound or actually in a lake and submerged.......grrrrrrrrrrrrrr... I'm a nervous wreck and he's not responding to my text messages or emails! Ok, I know he's alright, but it would sure be nice to know where his truck is. Sometimes I really wonder about this mom business. Seems we're the last to know about alot of things involving our kids yet we worry ourselves sick over them all the time!
Ok, have finally heard from my son again! His truck is not submerged. It's just in about 3 feet of mud. He said a company that does off-road recovery of vehicles is heading up there right now. And regular tow truck would get stuck if it tried to pull his truck out. His fiance' is on her way up there with a friend of theirs. My son says she should be able to drive his truck back down here. I sure hope so! It's a good thing he's got full coverage insurance with towing and stuff or this would cost him a small fortune! I hope he's learned his lesson and now knows that just because he has a big 4 X 4 that doesn't mean he can drive it anywhere he wants and not end up in trouble. Kids!!! LOL!!! Well, at least I feel better now. I know he's alright and that the truck is ok, just stuck in mud. Ssshheessshhh!
