One person just asks a question starting with Why????? ...............then the next person answers it and asks the next question..... and so on....... so on.......... so on!!!!!

Example:
Why do paychecks disappear so darn fast???

Because its an evil plot by the corporations all over the world
to keep us the common people in debt and working!

First one.....

Why do Squirrels run in front of cars?

Perhaps because in the old days of bath tubs, to rinse oneself off, a clean jug of water was 'poured' over one's head?

Why do folk say "Look me in 'the' eye" when we have two?

lol...twice over, Stella!

I would imagine that since beggars would not have any form of transport
and would probably be constantly wishing for better days, then they would be
as rich or richer than those who had need of nothing.

Why is it when you have 'a real bad hair day' everyone says how  nice it looks?

My fanciful reply would be 'that it is the opposite of a happy expression' when one's mouth is turned upwards.

or

Rivers run down to the 'mouth' of the sea?

Why is it that when two buses due 10 minutes apart are late ...that they arrive together, half an hour after the first was due and 'with' the third one, which is spot on time?

I have read this in one of our books on 'the sky at night' but may not get it right...

it has something to do with a star which links with the sun during the hottest part of the year (July and August) and the star is called 'Dog'? And the credit for the hot weather at that time of year was given to that star a long time ago.

Which brings me to..."Why do people say it is raining 'cats and dogs'"?

Why do people say, a penny for your thoughts?
