An Old Man’s Day at the Beach

Today I decided to go to the beach. I planned to stay thre all day so I got my bathers and swimming cap and drove in my four-wheel drive. When I got there I jumped in the water and went for a swim. Now there is a problem, I met a shark that nearly bit my head off, but I survived. On the edge of the sea I nearly got stung by a school of jellyfish but I swam away too fast. They missed me by a bit. In the middle of the sea a crowd of crocodiles circled me and blocked my way to the Stingraytorium but I swam away in between them. They tried to chase me but they were too slow. I swam away. Before I went to the Stingraytorium some brightly coloured coral caught my eye. I thought it was soft and warm and tried to touch it but it bit me on the hand. Ouch! That hurt!

I swam to the Stingraytorium but now a whale and his wife ( a barracuda ) were blocking the entrance. They tried to eat me but I swam to the side. They tried to turn around and chase me but when they turned around I was already at the door and swam in. They gave up.

In the Stingraytorium there were lots of stingrays, a lionfish and his wife a stonefish. I couldn’t find a way out. Finally I found a way out but everything chased me. I climbed up onto the rocks. The creatures died. I said, "Phew! That was close!"

I watched the sunset. When it was over I went to bed.
