Hi, I hope someone can help me. I have always used repositional adhesive on my patterns, and yes occasionaly I have had a lifting problem, but not too bad. But now I cannot get anything to stick properly and it is very difficuly to hold the pattern down by hand and hold the wood without any BIG mistakes. Any ideas please. Oh by the way it is winter here in Australia at the moment, cold and wet, could this add to the problem? Thanks in advance. Marg

I have found that I have to shake the can really hard lately.  Also when the can is down to about 1/4 it seems to not work very well.

Marg, try applying blue or lavender painter's tape to the wood, don't overlap it, butt the edges together. Then apply your spray adhesive to both the tape and the back of your pattern. I use DURO spray adhesive, I don't wait after spraying it I apply it to the tape right away. Be careful removing the tape and pattern from tiny delicate cuts, finger nail and tweesers works for me. Hope this helps.

Any portion of a pattern that is sticking and giving me enough trouble that i fear a broken piece from the cutting gets soaded in mineral sprites.
