I would think I would shop around my area for a scroll saw. What you will pay in S&H from ebay will soak up any savings you might get. Also, watch closely to make sure the blades yuo use are "pinless" . If you get a saw that takes pinned blades, it will hard to do fine cuts, becasue you have to drill a hole big enough to get pins in. Dremel, Delta, Craftsman, are all good saws. I bought my saw 30 yrs. ago, for 200, now they are 1700.00. Of course I have had to replace the on-off switch a few times. It is a German made saw, called Hegner.
