PEOPLE U/M: Lyle // Stranger, ROM
RECORD: 00/01/00
OOC: This is a new rp style for me, just wanted to test it out and see how I do. Just trying new things I guess, and this is what came out.

It's funny how the whole outcome of an event, can be changed with just one action. Whether or not you have orange juice or milk in the morning with your breakfast, can determine whether or not your day will be good or not. Say you choose orange juice, and you spill it all over yourself. You have to go upstairs, change, you are late for school, locked out of your home room, which just so happens to be taking a pop quiz that day, and you get an F on it, because you didn't take it. Now, if you would have chosen milk, you might've gone off to school, and aced the pop quiz, because you actually read the chapter, while someone else gets locked out. If one was able to go back in time, one small move can alter the universe. One person seeing your face can suddenly ensure your fathers death. The point being, that if you do something over again, it is certain that it will not have the same outcome, and often an unseen consequence.

I wasn't able to get the job done. In fact, it was I who ended up being pinned. Of course, who could blame me after being back body dropped through a wooden horse filled with thumbtacks, right? I did do my part in the match. Thinking back on it, I made it possible for Shaun Andrews to win the match, but taking out Orrin Stranger. The moment I fisherman suplexed Stranger through that table, he never returned to the match. If I hadn't done that, then the victor could have possibly been changed. Been then again, I wouldn't be in the situation I am in now.

Orrin Stranger and I are set to go at it once again. So, shouldn't this be like the previous match? I mean, it's a tables and chairs match, so shouldn't I end up putting him through the table to win the match? No, not at all. Before it was three, if you take away the third competitor, who knows what can happen. The stipulation has changed as well, this time it is only tables and chairs, the effects of some conduct between Orrin and I during last Hellfire. Not only as the third competitor been taken away, but there is a prize waiting at the end of the tunnel this time. This time, we're both driving for a shot at the DW Pit Championship. With something to work for this time, people find themselves giving more than just one hundred percent. Not only that, but the championship holder, Ralph O. Morris, is awaiting us at the commentators table. So many factors have changed, that the outcome of this showdown, is now unseen.

Zarek Lyle: "Can you feel the tension? It's in the air. It's everywhere."

The scene opens to the sight of Zarek Lyle standing in an unknown arena. There is no audience, or anybody else in the arena, besides him. Darkness falls everywhere around him, but one light, illuminates his actions. The light shinning on him scatters around him, and you can see that where he is, isn't unknown at all. It's The Pit. Blood stains are evident, and weapons of all sort lay everywhere. The floor is covered in thumbtacks, there is a wooden table in the corner, and a chair in the other.

Zarek Lyle: "Orrin Stranger and I meet once again in the ring, but this time it's just us two. No Shaun Andrews this time, it just plainly comes down to you or me."

Zarek reaches down and picks up a few thumbtacks, they cut into his hand and he holds his hand high, letting the blood drip down. He crushes the thumbtacks in his hand, causing his hand to bleed more, before he throws them at the empty chairs in the audience. He then appears to be talking to an audience, yet there is nobody there.

Zarek Lyle: "I can hear them talk. Do you know what they are talking about Orrin? They are talking about us. To be truthful, everyone expects you to lose again. I mean, it is I who put you through the table in the last match. But I know better. I know that this time, you won't let that happen. You will do everything in your power to win, but then again, you claimed you were going to do everything to win last time. So, it appears you have nothing to offer in this match, and the outcome is certain, correct?"

Zarek laughs at his previous statement. As he laughs he walks in a circle, gazing at the blood stains, knowing that somewhere was the blood he shed at Hellfire when he was back body dropped through the wooden hors full of thumbtacks.

Zarek Lyle: "But I know better. I know why you failed, and I believe you know why you failed as well. The reason of your failure is clearly, that you underestimated me. It's as simple as that Orrin. You didn't think I would be much of a challenge, and therefore, didn't focus on me. Your focus was entirely on Andrews, and that's where you went wrong. Considering I was the one who took you out of the match, wouldn't you agree that it was a mistake to only consider Andrews as a threat. I suppose you don't have a choice now, do you?"

Zarek stops near the table, and another light comes and shines on the table as well. It's revealed that it isn't really a table, but a broken table with the words 'Orrin Stranger' written in blue on it. No doubt the very same table that Orrin was suplexed through during Hellfire. Zarek moves some of the piece to make his way through the ruins of the table and rest on post behind it.

Zarek Lyle: "But this time, I am the only threat in this match, considering I am the only person in the ring besides the referee. Well, I suppose you could consider ROM a threat, just for the sole fact that he can interfere whenever he damn well feels like it. Otherwise, I am your main focus in this match, so I would expect you give me a challenge this time. I know you weren't put on this world to live up to my expectations, but that isn't the issue. No, I am not saying I am better than you, and no, I am not saying I could beat you. My only point is that I got the better of you once, and for your sake, you better not let it happen again. Plus, I like a challenge. It makes everything so much fun, don't you agree?"

Zarek walks away from the ruble of the table, and makes a v-line for the only other weapon left in The Pit. He takes the chair in his hands and swings it like a baseball bat. Somewhat 'practicing' with the other weapon in their 'Tables and Chairs' match.

Zarek Lyle: "So whoever comes out on top, gets first dibs on the Pit Championship. Wouldn't you say that is a nice prize? I would say so. The thing is, it seems Raphly hasn't been pulling his weight around here. I mean come on, look back at his performance last week. How could the Pit Champion lose to the Television champion? He totally disgraced the division. It seems he wasn't really in the match, but elsewhere, at least his mind was. So ROM, if you make yourself open and vulnerable, you're going to get people coming after that championship on your shoulder. That's where Orrin and I come in. Truthfully, I don't think you deserve that title. I don't think you deserve it one bit. So we're going to do you a little favor and take it off your hands. Whether it be Orrin or myself, it will happen."

Zarek looks like he is done with all of the weapons. He chucks the chair at the table ruins, and kicks the thumbtacks everywhere with his shoe. Some of the thumbtacks get stuck in the toe of his shoe, but Zarek doesn't worry about it. After all of the stuff is in some sort of pile, Zarek continues.

Zarek Lyle: "Let's hope both of you shape up and bring your game. Orrin for this week, Ralph for next."

Gone.
