PEOPLE U/M: Lyle // York, Renton, Jacobs, Solace, Hawke
RECORD: 02/01/00
OOC: I actually had a pretty hard time finishing this one, and Im not exactly sure how it turned out. Then again, I never really do. I was confident in the beginning that it was good, but then I shifted back into the "Can't judge myself" mood, so yeah.

"This has turned out to be even more than I expected. I had expected this to be just another match scheduled for Hellfire. I had my questions as to why this was headlineing the last Hellfire before Bloodbath, but now I know why. Everyone single one of us has a drive that makes us do more. Every single one of us involved in this match, has the extra push that makes us do everything in our power to come out on top. What we will find out on Hellfire, is what happens when only one drive can push someone to the top of this match. Is sort of like a game, where everybody starts at the beginning, and everybody believes they will be the first to the finish, when really, deep down, they can not even fathom who is going to reach the finish first. All they know, is that they are going to do everything in their power to win, because to human being, dominance is everything. No matter how much anybody will tell you otherwise, winning is everything."

"I invite every sinlge one of you to journey to a place of child imagination and joy, known only as Candyland. All four of us, start at the start arrow, holding our little candy canes and whatnots. Ryan draws first and has selected an orange. Ryan walks over to the first orange, what do you know, he's caught on the rainbow trail for being the most succesful person in this match. Congradulations Ryan. I'm up next and I draw a double green. Pretty good, but not as good as Ryan, no doubt. Ambika draws her card, and realizes she had drawn the gumdrop card. So she advances across the board to the gumdrop space. Nice Ambika, real nice. You're pretty much in second place at this point. Then comes Tyler Jacobs and he draws. Unfortantely for Mr. Jacobs, he draws a double red, which gets him from start, but not very far. This looks about right, doesn't it? Well, sort of. You have to admit, it's what you expected. But it's not over yet, not even half."

"What disappoints me is that people still underestimate me here in DW. True, I did manage to lose my first match in DW to Shaun Andrews, which could possibly have given me the reputation of people not believing in me. I do believe I redeemed myself from this lose though. I followed it up with a win over Orrin Stranger in a Tables and chairs match, if that's not good enough, then I followed that win up with the capture of this Pit Championship. That match especially should relate to my loss with Shaun Andrews. I competed against ROM in a Turnbuckle Thumbtack match, when Shaun Andrews had back body dropped me through a wooden horse filled with thumbtacks just two weeks before. So no, I have yet to prove I can out wrestle Shaun Andrews, but I believe I have proved that I can wrestle. I'm almost always the underdog in every single match, well, almost. Which brings me to this recent match, because surprisingly, I'm not the underdog. There is one person lower than me on the pole. I'm sure you all know his name. Not for his fame as a wrestler, but his fame in never winning a match. Tyler Jacobs."

"So, we come back to Ryan York with his turn and he picks up a double purple card, getting him even further. Ambika's turn to see if she can take Ryan York's lead, and she pocks up a double blue card. She's further along than she was before, but she wasn't able to take the lead from York. Now it's my turn. A double red, getting me pretty far aswell, but not far enough. Now Tyler Jacob's turn. Like I said before, this guy just so happens to be more of the underdog in this match than I am. He picks up a card and it's a double purple, still making him in last place. Well, there's really no surprise there, honestly, didn't you expect that? Leading up to this match has been so predictable so far. Ryan York being his normal self doing whatever it is he feels like without a care in the world as to who he is going up against on Hellfire. No sign of Ambika Renton so far, but last week we didn't see her much before her match against Hawke and Rivers. So who predicted she'd do the same this week? Everyone. Then Tyler Jacobs sits in the corner, saying how he's going to win this match, when everyone knows that he has just about as much chance as Chase Dayne did holding the SEE World Title for more than a couple days. Let me ask you a question, where is the surprise in this match? Where is the good stuff that we want to see on Hellfire. Well, I have that answer for you."

"Speaking of predictable, it appears that Rielle Hawke has turned Ryan York into her personal boy toy. We all knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. But I'm a bit confused. You see, I was under the impression that Rielle was a lesbian. You know, maybe I missed the part where she switched sides again, but I'm not exactly sure. Do you like guys? Do you like girls? Or are you just greedy? Getting back to the point, Ryan York doesn't seem at all worried about this match. Well, in all honesty, he shouldn't be. I mean, Ambika Renton, Tyler Jacobs, and Zarek Lyle, please, he's competing for the Core Championship in a week. I admit that I am nothing compared to anyone in that match, but what he should be worried about, is all three of us together. Yeah I know, never gonna happen, right? Well you see, that's where the mystery is. Wouldn't the smart thing to do is take out the toughest person early and battle it out with the others? Correct. So you never know what could come from the minds of three desperate people. But I'll leave it to Hellfire for everyone to see what happens next. You see, isn't this becoming intesting? I'm adding more interest into the match. Now there's a rumour that Ambika, Tyler, and myself might team up to take out Ryan York. There's suspicion right there. I suppose you'll just have to turn on your television Friday night, and find out for yourself."

"Speaking of Ryan York, it's about his turn again, isn't it? Finally picking up a card, Ryan York is so lucky to picky up a Queen Frostine card. Luck is definitely on your side in this game Ryan, I'll give you that much. Ambika picks up a card and gets a single yellow. Tough luck there Ambika, maybe if you'd actually show up to pick the card, you'd get a better one. Go figure, eh? So now I pick up my card, a single red. Not to far from where I was before, but I take what I can get."

Don't deny it, you all know it's true. Whoever made up that little saying that winning isn't everything, probably never won a damn thing in their life. My guess is, he got so tired of losing, he made so crap saying up just to make himself feel better. Ha! It might've well been Tyler Jacobs, it sounds like him. Not winning anything, so he has to make up some crap reason as to why he doesn't win. Shut up Tyler! We all know you suck, you don't need excuses!

But it's not over yet, not even half."

Truth. Exactly what I am speaking at the moment. Don't you expect Ryan York to come out on top. If not him, possibly Ambika or myself, then if not him, then Tyler. It's somewhat of a little ranking system that we subject ourselves to upon entering the wrestling world. That is what determines wether or not people believe you are going to win a match or not. Your ranking can rise on this system, your ranking can fall on this system. Depending on where you are, depends on who people will choose to win. Ryan is at the top, people choose Ryan. But he's the obvious choice, which makes it so boring. Who wants to watch a wrestling match where you know who is going to win? I sure as hell don't.

"What disappoints me is that people still underestimate me here in DW. True, I did manage to lose my first match in DW to Shaun Andrews, which could possibly have given me the reputation of people not believing in me. I do believe I redeemed myself from this lose though. Not for his fame as a wrestler, but his fame in never winning a match. Tyler Jacobs."

That's pretty pathetic, don't you agree? Tyler has fame in losing matches. Tyler Jacobs, voted 'Least Likely To EVER Win a Match' by the DW roster. Man, I should really pat myself on the back. Damn, what the hell am I doing? Putting people down, for my own satisfaction? Not something I'm about. But it's hard when talking about Tyler Jacobs, cause you just can't help but associating his losing streak with him. It is his performance that people remember about him the most, and it's not very impressive. But then again, neither is mine, I'd say.

Then Tyler Jacobs sits in the corner, saying how he's going to win this match, when everyone knows that he has just about as much chance as Chris Walker did becoming any sort of champion in SEE. Let me ask you a question, where is the surprise in this match? Where is the good stuff that we want to see on Hellfire. Well, I have that answer for you."

I do? I mean, I do! Of course I do! Over the past couple of days, since the last Hellfire when this match was anounced I have been thinking. Thinking of the predictability in this match, and why this would be considered a main event. Then I realized it. The surprise. The surprise factor is what makes this match so entertaining. The fact that everybody in this match has beef with someone else on the roster, makes you wonder what will happen in this match. So many interferences come to mind. So many possibilities, it's really endless. Meaning, everybody in this match is going to have to watch their back, not just from the other people in the ring, but from the people outside of the ring.

I'm adding more interest into the match. Now there's a rumour that Ambika, Tyler, and myself might team up to take out Ryan York. There's suspicion right there. I suppose you'll just have to turn on your television Friday night, and find out for yourself."

I always find myself saying that you'll have to wait until Friday night, or you'll have to wait until Hellfire. It's part of the surprise factor I like to assert into my matches. Wouldn't you say me winning the Pit Championship was a surprised? I would say so. Not many people could have predicted that. Which was satisfaction for me, knowing that I surprised everyone by winning it. Pulling off this one would be even more a surprise. Hell, anyone besides Ryan York would be a surprise, which is what I'm aiming for.

Not to far from where I was before, but I take what I can get. Followed by Tyler's draw of a single purple. Not a very good round, well, not a very good round for most of us, but Ryan doesn't apply to that statement. You're almost at the finish Ryan, so run for it. But, you're not really in this match to win it, are you? Well, you are, but you have to be in this match for some other reason. Ambika Renton."

"Ambika should be the most worried in this match. Firstly, you have Ryan York after you who has it out for you, just because of your wierd relationship of Drake. Your whole dating/roomate status or whatever you are doing with him. But then, you also have to worry about Drake Solace. You think not? Looking back, he seems to think that he deserves to be in this match, and he seems to think that he is the only reason you are as successful as you are at the moment. He spontaniously attacked Slimz, what makes you think that he won't do the same to you?"

"So now Ryan, only being a few spaces away from the finish line as usual draws a double yellow card. Wow, it appears your luck has just ran out. You're card has landed you in the molasses swamp, and you have lost two turns. So sorry Ryan, but this leaved you pretty vulnerable, in those turns, you could easily lose the lead. Ambika draws the Queen Frostine card. Hmm...how did the card re-surface so quickly? Nobody really knows, but nobody is willing to do anything about it. Cheating? Maybe. But the ref doesn't call it because he is to pre-occupied with watching out for other competitors. I draw the Princess Lolly card, that's a big jump for myself. Definitely right around the corner from Ambika, who is right around the corner from Ryan. The only person that seems to be falling behind is Tyler. Coming up on Tyler's turn, he draws the Grandma Nutt card, making him right around the corner from myself. And that is where we stop."

Surprised? Then I've accomplished what I've came here to do.

"Hey, didn't I say I was going to add more interest in this match? I didn't let you see the final card in the poker game, I'm not going to let you see who gets to the Ice Cream castle first. The surprise is the best part of the match. You wouldn't watch if you knew who was going to win. That makes no sense"

I feel my speech coming to a close. I'm pretty much over this at the moment anyways.

"So until next time, I say gooday"

PEOPLE U/M: Lyle // Umm...just about everybody at one point, lol
RECORD: 02/01/00
OOC: I'm pretty much taking you all a small trip down memory lane with a little game I used to love to play when I was a kid. No, I did not know this all by heart, lol. I had to take it out from the dusty shelves at look at it. lol. I was just playing with my brother the other day to keep him entertained, and thought it would be fun to use the idea in an rp. Yeah, I'm wierd. Anyway, this is what I came up with

So it's pretty much heating up, the main event four corners match on Hellfire, that is. Three competitors seem to be getting into it. People are talking backstage, and out in the open about possible events to happen in the match. Wether it be an interference, a surprise announcement for Bloodbath, or just some random attackings. Really, anything can happen, and everything is expected to happen. If everything goes as planned, the fans will be disappointed to say the least. It's only a few days now until Hellfire reveals all secrets.

Quick question. Ryan York, Drake Solace, Rielle Hawk, and Gabe McKearns have their match at Bloodbath for the Core Championship, correct? Yes. Then we have Amika Renton, Slimz, Randi Chase, and Gavin Masterson for the Tag Team Championship, correct? Yes. This week we will see wether or not the Television Champion, Caleb Quick, will advance to the final match for the Deathcore Trophy at Bloodbath, or if he'd be defending his championship at Bloodbath. Now to my 'quick' question. Where do I see the name Zarek Lyle on this potential Hellfire card? Nowhere. Wether I win or lose at Hellfire, I am not guaranteed a match at Bloodbath, wether it be for my Pit Championship or not. So, if I'm so up there on the ladder as the Pit Champion, then why, as it looks, am I not going to have a match at Bloodbath?

So here I am again, just sitting here doing nothing but playing with plastic figures from a childs game. There's a blue piece labeled 'Ryan York', a yellow peice labeled 'Ambika Renton', a green piece labeled 'Zarek Lyle', and a red peice labeled 'Tyler Jacobs'. Well, I'm not just playing with the pieces, I'm actually playing a game, a game with licorice, candy canes, and many other forms of candy.

"This has turned out to be even more than I expected. I had expected this to be just another match scheduled for Hellfire. Where has Ambika Renton been these past couple of days anyway? I haven't seen her since Hellfire where she lost to Rielle Hawke. It's possible she could be off sulking somewhere, but that is highly unlikely, knowing Ambika's personality. But I do have to wonder where she has disappeared off to, and if she'll be back in time for Hellfire. She does have a Tag Team Championship match coming up at Bloodbath, so it could be possible she is resting up for that? I have no idea. Every superstar has had two promos so far, but Ambika hasn't had any. Which makes you wonder if she is running scared. Whatever she is doing, or thinking, if she skips this match, her career will definitely begin to decline.

"Ambika should be the most worried in this match. Firstly, you have Ryan York after you who has it out for you, just because of your weird relationship of Drake. Your whole dating/roommate status or whatever you are doing with him. But then, you also have to worry about Drake Solace. You think not? Looking back, he seems to think that he deserves to be in this match, and he seems to think that he is the only reason you are as successful as you are at the moment. He spontaneeously attacked Slimz, what makes you think that he won't do the same to you?"

This question of mine made me wonder. What was stopping Drake Solace from attacking me? Nothing. What was stopping Drake from attacking anybody? Nothing. An even bigger question, what was stopping Gabe McKearns from attacking me or anybody else? Just some more questions to add to the match. Gabe could possibly get involved attacking Ryan York, just because he's in the four corner Bloodbath match, or like we've seen before, everyone it the match. At this point, I'm starting to worry about this. If something is going down, then it's going to happen in the Main Event. With just one week away until Bloodbath, tension is high, and there's no telling what anybody is willing to do to get the edge in their match.

"So now Ryan, only being a few spaces away from the finish line as usual draws a double yellow card. Wow, it appears your luck has just ran out. You're card has landed you in the molasses swamp, and you have lost two turns. So sorry Ryan, but this leaves you pretty vulnerable, in those turns, you could easily lose the lead.

"So until next time then, I suppose"

Ryan York was stuck in the molasses swamp, Ambika Renton had taken over as Queen Frostine, I was hanging out with Princess Lolly, and Tyler Jacobs was still back at Grandma Nutt's hut. But no matter how far away from the finish you were on the board, everybody knew that it wasn't over by a long shot. No matter if you were ten spots from the finish, or ten spots from the start, with just one card, with just one stroke of luke, anyone could win the game.

Gone.
