"Follow The Dirt Road"

PEOPLE U/M: Lyle, Slappy // Jacobs, Challenger, Flip, Corfield, Fairservice
HPW RECORD: 02/00/00
OOC: The first in this little series thingy. Sorry it took so long to get up, but I will get up my guarenteed amount. I'll either have my second one later today or tomorrow. This one starts out kind of broad and then flows more into King Flip. It's not my best, but it's a start.

A dirt path is all that can be seen, a long narrow dirt path that is wide enough to fit only two people at most. The wind blows the dirt this way and that, and creates 'dust devils' in the distance. The place looks a bit desolate, and no person is seen near. On the right side of the dirt road lies lush grass followed by newly grown trees with rich soil. On the left side, lies exactly the same thing. The only space in this whole area the doesn't have a look of beauty in the dirt road. It has a sort of desert feel to it, a sort of death feeling to it. Sort of as if few as traveled down the road before, and fewer have come back. It has a sort of dangerous feel to it, but then against, that's what makes it interesting.

It has some symbolism to it, and the symbols can be seen by even the untrained eye. A superstar must travel down a similiar one, filled with death and failure, to achieve their ultimate goal. The ultimate goal would be the World championship, and creating a legacy on the way. The grass is greener on both of the sides, but to achieve what you want to in life, you must travel the harder path, it's just the way it is. To get to the end of the dirt road, you must expect the worst and face it head on.

"As soon as as wrestler signs on that dotted line to become a professional, they begin their embark on a wonderful journey. Well, sometimes wonderful and sometimes not so wonderful. Sometimes, the greatest choice you have ever made in your life, and other times, the stupidest choice you have ever made in your life, all depending on who you are. For me, at the moment, it is one of the best decisions I have ever made in my whole life. The steps I took that got me here, were nothing short of amazing, but of course there were obstacles along the way. Aren't there always? Although I started on this path not to long ago, I still find myself main eventing shows, such as this one. One other superstar, by the name of Michael Challenger, seems to have followed the exact same route that I traveled."

"Taking my first step forward, I joined into the wrestling world. I don't know what I was thinking at the time, but it later turned out to be a great decision, as you can see. That's the first step, is just joining a wrestling federation and making it on the card. That's exactly what I accomplished when I joined with Deathcore Wrestling, in essence, Deathcore was my first step. This proves true with one other superstar in our midst, as I said before, Michael Challenger. Challenger's first steps onto this road, were taken in Deathcore Wrestling. He signed as a rookie, and as said before, it's the first steps on this journey. So for both of us, the journey had begun."

"So I had become an official Deathcore Wrestling superstar, and the next step would be to obtain a championship. It's every superstars goal to obtain a title belt, so naturally, it was the next step. I accomplished that to in Deathcore Wrestling, simply by defeating Ralph O. Morris and becoming the new DW Pit Champion. I had taken a step forward in my career, and it was going smooth, just as I had expected it too. Little did I know that Challenger was following close behind me with a plan of his own. He to took his next step in Deathcore Wrestling, by capturing the DW Television Championship. Taking the next step, put him up there with me on the path. From here, I didn't exactly know where to go. To accomplish the dream of a superstar, I would have to win the DW Core Championship, but I was already the Pit Champion. I could only sit and watch to see where life would take me."

"Unfortunantly for me, just sitting around and waiting for something to happen, got me nowhere, and it got Challenger absolutley nowhere as well. Sitting around, waiting for the next step to just be forced upon us, caused us to take a step back. This step back on our journey for greatness was caused by the closure of Deathcore Wrestling. I was as surprised as its fall, as anybody. I'm sure Challenger was as well, but leaving us jobless wasn't the next step on our journey, it was a step back"

"The only way to move on from something like this, is to get back in the ring. In this case, it's not just a figure of speech, but a literal meaning as well. The only way for myself, or anyone for that matter, to get over the loss of DW, would have to be to sign another contract, sign another contract that allowed us to continue on with our short career thus far. That other contract came in another federation by the name of HPW, which provided another home for me. No longer was I tied to the ruins of Deathcore Wrestling, but tied to the rising of a company named HPW. I soon found out the Michael Challenger had also tied himself to the rising of a certain federation."

"A chance was soon given to me, to compete in a tag team match. The win would ensure me a spot on the main event, and finishing in the top four of the main event would ensure me a shot for the HPW World Heavyweight Championship. Fortune put me up against Michael Challenger and Mark Golden, while I partnered with Tyler Jacobs. Of course, I prevailed in the tag match, and went on to the main event. Many already know the story of how I battled it out, and in the end finished in the top four, so I won't get into that story. But of course, my victory meant the downfall of Michael Challenger. Challenger failed at the tag team match, and was pinned by Tyler Jacobs, not to move on to the main event. I take one step forward in my search for the World title, while Challenger is stuck in the same spot"

"Oh but wait, that's not exactly how it went done, now is it? Yeah, I was the victor in the tag team match against Challenger and Golden. I did make it into the final four in the main event, and I do have a shot for the HPW World Heavyweight Championship. So what's the problem? The problem is, that Challenger made it to the final four as well. But wait, if Challenger lost the tag match, then how did he make it into the main event and into the final four? Well, it can only be explained that a person who actually deserved to be in the main event, was attacked back stage and Michael Challenger was priveleged enough to take his spot. Which ultimately lead to himself making it to the Final Four as well. Which means Challenger reclaims his stept forward"

"Through all of this jibber jabber, I have a point, I promise. My point would be, where do we go from here? As you can see, we've been close by each other, Challenger and I, up to the very end, always trailing behind. Considering we are so close to the end of the road, where do we go from here?"

"Follow The Dirt Road"

PEOPLE U/M: Lyle // Jacobs, Challenger, Flip
HPW RECORD: 02/00/00
OOC: This is my second out of an expected four. I have to say, my motivation this year haulted, as did my opponents did. I realized how much I rely on James actually rping. Unfortunantly, he seems to have disappeared, atleast for now? Well, hopefully he can make it back in time for the big match. Or atleast to get one rp up for the match. This one is directed towards Challenger, and I might just leave it at this. A possible third coming, but Im not sure yet

A dirt path is all that can be seen, a long narrow dirt path that is wide enough to fit only two people at most. The wind blows the dirt this way and that, and creates 'dust devils' in the distance. Although I started on this path not to long ago, I still find myself main eventing shows, such as this one. One other superstar, by the name of Michael Challenger, seems to have followed the exact same route that I traveled."

For the first time, I enter the scene, and I can be seen taking a step forward, for the symbolism of course. It's always been one of my favorite symbols compared to the wrestling world. A dirt road says it all, because it really is what you have to travel on to reach your goal. Sometimes with someone by your side, and sometimes alone, but you must travel it nonetheless. It contains hardships beyond belief, but I suppose that's how you seperate the posers from the real bests in the buissness.

Taking another step forward, I remember the day I signed a contract with Deathcore Wrestling, one of the happiest days of my life. For years I had recieved let down after let down in my life, and finally here was something real I could look forward too. Best of all there were no limits, I mean, it wasn't called Deathcore Wrestling for no reason. So all of the maunevers I had been forbidden to use and shunned for using, were now totally legal, and I loved it.

To accomplish the dream of a superstar, I would have to win the DW Core Championship, but I was already the Pit Champion. I could only sit and watch to see where life would take me."

Taking a step forward, another rememberance of a great moment in my short career so far. The moment I had defeated the all to arrogant Ralph O. Morris and had taken the very object of my affection, I had taken the very object that everyone said I couldn't have. The Pit Championship, was the best thing that ever happened to me back in Deathcore Wrestling. I had power, and not just a bit of power, but championship power. One taste and of course, I wanted more. Suddenly the Pit Championship wasn't enough for me, and I had to get my hands on one more object that everyone said I couldn't have. The Core Championship. But we all know how that turned out.

Taking a step back, yep, you guessed it, another flashback of when Deathcore's walls fell. Truth be told, I wasn't even around when it came crashing down, but it came down nonetheless. I had to hear the aweful news from a short and stalky nurse when I woke up. As you may recall, I was hospitalized that week by the brutal attacks done by The White Viper and Jack Malone. When the walls known as Deathcore Wrestling came crashing down, my world went with it.

Was today a day for flashbacks or what? First, I took my step back, gaining back a place I called home. No longer was it DW, but HPW. Signing the contract, didn't only mean I was being employeed through HPW, but it meant I was signing my life away to a new company. The wrestling world is my life, so in signing the contract, HPW became my life. HPW is my life, I put it on the line everytime I go out into the ring. Anything could happen, but I choose to live, unlike others. People like Michael Challenger will never make it to the top if he doesn't learn to trust in himself, or learn to trust in HPW. It's that, which has gotten me to the top thusfar.

At this moment, I was getting my life back together. In Deathcore Wrestling, I may not have been the top dog, but I was definitely somewhere up there, you know? Starting all over again, wasn't really fun. I had this potential mindset that I had grown into, telling me that I was so much better than these people, and I shouldn't have to start all the way at the bottom again. I didn't even realize that everyone had to start from the bottom. It took me the whole night to realize it, right up until the point where three out of four of the mean in my tag match, were declared three of the Final Four, myself included. They had to start from scratch as well, and they deserved it just as much as I did.

Which means Challenger reclaims his step forward"

So we're equal, we're in the exact same spot. In the exact same spot in our career, that one single move could put anyone over to the World Championship. Either one of us has the power to do it, it's just the matter of who has the will power to do it, who wants it more? We've heard Michael Challenger claim that he wants it more, but than again he claimed he wanted to win last weeks match more as well, and he ended up with a lose. So you never know.

"Through all of this jibber jabber, I have a point, I promise. My point would be, where do we go from here? As you can see, we've been close by each other, Challenger and I, up to the very end, always trailing behind. Considering we are so close to the end of the road, where do we go from here?"

When will this hatred/respect relationship known as a fued, come to an end? Well, I suppose I already know that. Shouldn't it come to an end with the closing of the Final Four tour? Knowing the World Heavyweight Champion, shouldn't this wierd relationship I hold with Michael Challenger, just disappear? I think not. It's only to simple. You don't just hate someone, and have constant matches with someone, for four weeks and with one big match everything goes back to normal. It just doesn't happen that way. It never has, and I'm pretty sure it never will. So when will this fued between Challenger and I stop? Probably never. Once you've started it, it's way to hard to finish it.

So we're stuck, stuck in this position until the finale of the Final Four tour, stuck in this position until one of us is crowned the HPW World Heavyweight Champion. But what if one of us isn't awarded the World Heavyweight Championship? It could possibly go to Tyler Jacobs, or even King Flip, but what if Challenger or I don't win it? Doesn't that mean we'd still be stuck in this exact spot? Exactly. I do believe that you are catching onto this whole thing.

I believe I said it best when I asked, "Where do we go from here?"

Gone.
