PEOPLE U/M: Abram // Manic, Wilson, Vega, Pierce
BUD RECORD:
02/00/00
OOC: Abram is more comfortable with BUD now, and is getting more a voice. This rp is done from his perspective, as is the last one of my 07W2D thread.

What a wonderful first week and a half it has been for Zarek. Firstly, he is granted his debut match to be at the pay-per-view, which is an honor in itself up against a regular member of the roster, and a veteran that was returning to the ring. Along with that, Zarek was interested in the THC Championship, so although the matches were back to back, he entered the free-for-all anyway. He came out victories from both matches, setting himself in stone among the BUD roster. It was said that Zarek Lyle, is the future of BUD, and who would think otherwise after such a performance? Not only that, but Zarek found an ally among Melanie Thomas. Every good day has it's moments though, and Zarek's moment goes by the name of Kayla Marie, and Manic. Melanie and Zarek have Kayla taken care of, but this week, Zarek is on his own against a newcomer, Manic. Will the prophecy be upheld, or will Manic knock Zarek out of his spot as "most talented newcomer"?

Zarek and John meet each other there, where John begins running. Zarek ducks and the two begin exchanging blows right on the edge of the stage. If John were to take three steps backwards, he would fall off the stage. Zarek hits, John hits, Zarek hits, John hits, John hits, John hits, bringing Zarek to his knees. As John is getting the best of him, in a last attempt for victory, Zarek jumps forward, spearing John in the process. Normally with such little strength left, and such little momentum, Zarek wouldn't have been able to bring John down, but due to the fact that there was nothing but air behind Mr. Wilson, he falls backwards and they both fall right through the table. The audience begins to chant "HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!". The referee looks down from the top of the stage, and it appears that both men are passed out from the impact. It also appears that Zarek has landed on top of John. The ref begins to count.
ONE...TWO...THREE!

Just as the ref comes down for the three, and the crowd erupts, the clip cuts, and there is silence. For a few seconds, there is just the snowiness, like on the television when a program won't come in, or somebody forgot to rewind the VHS. Suddenly, the scene cuts to an office. There isn't much in the office, a desk sits in the middle with paperwork here and there, with a huge chair behind it. Someone appears to be sitting in the chair, but due to the fact that the chair is turned around, the person can not be identified. Without warning, the chair begins its half circle, back around to the front, and the person sitting in the chair is none other than Abram McCallister. He wears a black t-shirt stating "Zarek Lyle: The Future" and has the THC Championship slung over his left shoulder.

"Good evening ladies and gentleman", the crowd erupts as if they have just witnessed Zarek win the THC free-for-all all over again. Abram just smiles as they continue cheering and doesn't begin again until they have quieted down a bit.

Abram has a different feel about him as he speaks, as if his confident level has risen tenfold since last week. "I, as many of you know, am Abram McCallister, manager of the THC Champion, Zarek Lyle. Now, unfortunantly, Zarek was unable to be here today, so I suppose you will all have to settle for me. True, I may hold the THC Championship on my arm at the moment, but we all know that is not mine, by any means. The clip you just saw, proved Zarek's skill in the ring, as a wrestler. Not many men can wrestle two matches on a pay-per-view card and be able to say that their hand was raised both times. Zarek Lyle can. After competing in his debut match against a veteran of this company, Evan Pierce, and a long time member, Corey Vega, he was also entered into the THC free-for-all. In the triple threat, he came out victorious, and as we just saw, Zarek won the free-for-all as well. Just judging by this championship on my shoulder, you can already tell that Zarek was able to defeat John Wilson for the title. For those of you who never believed Zarek had what it takes to make it in this buisness, were proved wrong, big time. How does it feel? He proved he deserves to be in this industry, and made people such as Evan Pierce eat their words. So tell me boys and girls, how do they taste?"

Abram leans forward a bit in his chair and looks the camera straight on, as if these very people were there, and Abram was talking straight at them. Abram leans back, and glances over at the THC Championship on his shoulder. it felt great to be managing a champion. True, the THC wasn't the most prestigious championship in BUD, but it was a start, it was a definite start. After the THC came only bigger and better oppurtunies, so it was only a matter of time before Abram had a more prestigious championship over his shoulder. Who knows, maybe even one day the BUD World Heavyweight Championship.

Abram turns and grins, looking back at the camera before continuing on with his speech."After such a performace at 2007 Wayz 2 Die, I will repeat, where Zarek won both of his matches, we still have ignorant people running about that challenge Zarek's ability. Not veterans this time, oh no, they were shut up when Evan Pierce and Corey Vega fell victim to Zarek. This time we hear it from the newcomers, the rookies of this industry, that believe they mean something. You can not look at a man such as Zarek Lyle, the current THC Champion, and not see greatness. For some odd reason, these people don't see what everybody else sees, why is that? Why is it that such no talent wannabes find themselves spitting on the obvious talent of Zarek Lyle? I believe I have the answer. It's simple really, it's a little something called, the green-eyed monster. I don't blame you, you should be jealous. I mean, Zarek accomplished something in his first week, as a newcomer, that most noobs can not accomplish in a month. He managed to defeat two regular members of the roster, deafen the hype about the returning Evan Pierce, and tasted gold, all within his first week on the roster. Not many people can say that they did that their first week in a company such as BUD. The way I see it, when a man starts his career in such a manner as Zarek Lyle did, there is no stopping him. Then we have the rookies, that believe they can make a name for themselves by defeating Lyle. Let me ask you something, why do you even bother trying to defeat him? John Wilson couldn't do it, Corey Vega couldn't do it, and Evan Pierce couldn't do it, you saw the whole thing. What makes you think that you can?"

"The individuals with such convictions are Kayla Marie, and Manic, among others. Now, Kayla had the nerve to confront Zarek about certain alliances he had made. When Zaek didn't take her advice, the woman went psycho and attempted to take this THC Championship from him. Luckily, I was able to stop her before she succeeded. Zarek can't be bothered with such incompetance that is Kayla Marie, so I was sent to take care of her. To make sure she's out of Zarek's hair, him and Melanie are going to shut her up next week, along with whoever she can find as a partner. I suppose that settles that"

"Manic on the other hand, will be delt with much sooner than Kayla."

John Wilson couldn't do it, Corey Vega couldn't do it, and Evan Pierce couldn't do it, you saw the whole thing. What makes you think that you can?", yet again he looks at the camera with such intensity that it is like he is staring into your very eyes.

Abram gets up off of his seat, and the THC Championship stays on his shoulder as he moves about. He takes a few seconds and walks around to the front of the desk, before putting on leg atop the table, while the other stays down. Abram is now ultimately sitting half way on the desk, still gazing at the camera. He takes the championship off of his shoulder, and lays it down upon the desk. He has it at an angle so that the camera still gets a sight of it. He admire it for just a second before pulling two pictures out of his pockets.

Abram tosses one of the pictures onto the table, just like the belt, at an angle the camera can see. It is a picture of a woman, "The individuals with such convictions are Kayla Marie," Abram tosses yet another photograph atop the table, except this one is of a man, "and Manic, among others." Abram shifts himself so he is fully sitting the desk, and crosses his arms.

"Now, Kayla had the nerve to confront Zarek about certain alliances he had made. I suppose that settles that" Abram laughes triumphantly, remembering the dismantling that took place when Kayla thought she'd be able to take away Zarek's THC Championship.

"Manic on the other hand, will be delt with much sooner than Kayla."
again Abram laughes at the ignorance of Manic. He really has no idea what he is getting himself into. It's almost a little sad, really.

Crossing his arms, in all seriousness,
"Let me tell you something Manic, I would advice you not to take Zarek so lightly. Sure you could ignore my advice, but I am giving you this pointer, so you aren't completely demolished come Monday. I am attempting to help you. You aren't the first to believe that they would actually be able to silence Zarek, and look where they ended up.

Abram takes his gaze off of the camera in front of him, and focuses on something entering the room, "Speak of the devil."

Zarek enters the view of the camera, and the audience bursts, cheering and screaming. Although Zarek at times seems like he doesn't care what people say, in all honesty, he feeds off of them. Zarek stands there a second, soaking in the cheers that he knows are being yelled. He wears a pair of baggy jeans, and a white t-shirt. Not exactly wrestling attie, but something he finds easy to move around in, and being the THC Champion, a belt to be defended twenty-four seven, that's what he was going for. Zarek walks around the desk, and sits into the chair that Abram had been sitting in at the beginning of the scene. He folds his hands and acts like he owns the world. He proceeds to pick up the THC Championship, and look into it. Zarek gazes at his own reflection through the belt, before placing it back down on the desk.

Zarek holds out his watch and checks the time,
"I appologize for not being here on time, but I had some important buisness to attend too. What matters is that I made it here, and let me just tell you, what a week I have had in BUD." the crowd erupts with cheers once again, which brings a smile to Zarek's face.

Continuing where he left off,
"It is to my knowledge that everyone knows what I have accomplished thus far, so I see no need for me to repeat it. Let's get strictly down to buisness, shall we? You see, this week I am going up against another newcomer to BUD, a man going by the name of Manic. Let me just start off by saying that every noob is like the rest, they like to talk trash, with no form of backing it up. We have Manic running around saying he's the next BUD World Heavyweight Champion, please Manic, we all know that I have that spot reserved. True, I do tend to talk a little, but the difference between us two, is that I have already proven that I mean what I say, while this guy, has proven absolutley nothing."

As Zarek speaks, you can hear the anger in his voice, "I mean, right off the back you can see that this guy is a fake. he claims to be original and everything, but yet, he has done nothing I haven't seen before. He walks into the industry, claims to be the best thing since sliced bread, and then probably gets his ass kicked. There's nothing original about that Manic, nothing at all. He even had the nerve to somewhat imitate me. Everyone knows the way that I gained Abram as my manager, so this, this Manic, makes a show up choosing this reporter as his manager? True, there are definitely differences of the situation, but the similarities are even greater. You are doing nothing that this company hasn't already seen Manic, so you might as well stop while you're ahead, nobody is believing your crap."

It was true that Zarek was more than a little angry, I mean, Zarek had earned his keep here in BUD, and who were these rookies to come in, saying that he is nothing? It's hard to believe someone when they have yet to prove anything. Zarek on the other hand proved that he was a force at 2007 Wayz 2 Die. Zarek's point is we haven't see them performe, but do we need to in order to see their ability? These people aren't doing anything that hasn't already been done, isn't that proof that they will just end up like the rest no talents that get shuffled through here each week? Exactly.

Shifting in his seat,
"So I heard you saw my performance at 2007 Wayz 2 Die, my two performances at 2007 Wayz 2 Die. I believe your comment was that my performance was 'laughable'? Laughable is not how I would put it, considering I was the victor in both of my matches. The only thing laughable about my matches, is the people in the crowd that thought I couldn't do it. No doubt you were among them. By the way, a quick note, you attempted to tread on me by making the fact known that I was going up against Corey Vega. True, I was, but your ignorant mind left out the fact that I was also facing down Evan Pierce, a highly notable wrestler in many companies, and John Wilson. I find it laughable that you conviently left that part out. I also find it laughable that you say I am no threat to you, yet you found time on a Sunday to check up on my match. You found time to watch how I opperate, in order to get the upperhand. Very couragous of you Manic, I am impressed at your hypocracy, nobody has been able to pull it off like you."

"Except Corey Vega, last week" Abram pipes up, feeling the need to interject into the sentence.

Realizing he has made a mistake, quickly coreects it "Right, except Corey Vega, he one upped you last week, but you're almost there. Besides, we have a couple more days"

The two chuckle a bit, before getting back to buisness. They found it quire hiliarious how all these opponents had something in common. Although they all had different attributes, looks, and whatnot, they were all the same in one distinct way. Evan Pierce, Corey Vega, John Wilson, Manic, Kayla Marie, they were all the same. They all thought that Zarek was nothing, not a threat at all, and they were all going to be proved wrong. Infact, three of them already had been, three down, two to go. Piece of cake.

Folding his hands again, "Manic, during your promo, you spoke of a game, and that's what this whole industry is, it's one big entire game of cards. Except you had it wrong, this game didn't start with you, it started long before our time, and each match is played out again and again. So, you're the challenger, considering this is your first match, and I suppose I'm the champion, considering I've been here longer. Which means that this is my game, which it is. Falls Count Anywhere Manic, this is what I do. You see this THC Championship, it means that I am an expert at this kind of stuff, and Ii find it hard to believe that you didn't see that before. The truth Manic, you shouldn't be scared, but you should be worried a bit. I don't know your abilities, but you know mine, and you know that I am the reigning THC Champion, that's cause for a bit of a panic. I assume you know the rules of this game, correct? Good, so let us begin."

Zarek flashs a deviant smile, before exiting off camera. Abram then proceeds to pick up the THC Championship and show it to the camera. The light bounces off of the gold, causing the belt to shine. Abram gets up close to the camera, and the scene begins to fade. Before it completely goes out, all that can be heard is,
"Welcome to OUR game, Manic"
