"You Disappoint Me." Part One.
METHODS OF MADNESS: Testing this new roleplay thinger majigg to see if it looks any better that the others

And so we finally see the nasty side of Emerald. You know, people can surprise you, and Emerald has definitely suprised everyone. You think she's this nice girl, someone would wouldn't stoop to the level as to throw petty insults around at her opponent, someone who would actually be worthy of the BUDvision strap, but instead, Emerald has proven otherwise. You know, Zarek thought this actually might be a good match. Maybe there was someone that Zarek could actually defend against, and they would deserve the win. For over two monthes, Zarek has been looking for the person who would take this gold off of his shoulder, someone who could take it and everyone would know that that person deserved the gold. Manic was the first one, and Zarek didn't expect much from him, so when he resorted to his horrid ways, Zarek wasn't too surprised. If the BUDvision Championship were to switch hands, then the division would be in peril, but luckily, it did not. Zarek brushed it off and went on searching for the next person who could possibly take the gold away from him, and deserve to have it. The next person found him, as Leaky Format attacked him. Straight off the back, with the attack from behind, Zarek knew that Leaky wouldn't be the person he was looking for. The person Zarek was looking for would never attack someone from behind unless of course they were defending someone. Zarek had put no one in danger, so Leaky had no reason for attack. If the BUDvision Championship were to switch hands, it would be even worse if Manic would have captured the gold. Luckily, Zarek kept the division safe yet again, and retained. Then came Emerald, the hope for the divsion. Maybe there actually is someone amongst them that would be able to fight the good fight, and capture the gold. Emerald was what Zarek had been waiting for, and Emerald was who Zarek had put his faith into. Until, of course, her last promo, and that is when she showed her true self, resulting to something to low as to petty insults towards Zarek. Zarek put every bit of hope into Emerald, and now, maybe there isn't another being such as Zarek that can save the BUDvision division. The hope dies with Emerald, and this is why, it's so disappointing.

"Hey, Hey! You're Zarek Lyle, aren't you?" Zarek had been walking down the streets of New York, minding his buisness, when a man had called at him. Not wanting to disappoint the voice, he turned and gazed around. A hotdog salesman stood near him, looking towards Zarek. Zarek walked over to the hotdog man, a smile on his face, always happy to see a fan.

"Yeah, I am. You know me?" Zarek was so modest, but he had to ask the question. So people really didn't know where he was from, just knew the name and face. It was common among the streets of New York. People knew names off of TV, but could never remember where they had seen that person.

The hotdog man flashed a smile, "Of course I know you, I watch BUD on a regular basis. Aren't you supposed to be in some other state right now getting ready for 4:20 against Emerald?" It was a simple question. At first, Zarek was a bit surprised, but ansnwered back all the same.

"Yeah, yeah, but I had a few things to take care of here in NY first. Family comes first, right?" He laughed a bit, to add a little humor into the situation, although they both knew that this was no laughing matter. The man return the smile, and became all serious, as if Zarek had done something wrong.

"Doesn't it go that personal life is much more important than buisness. I was positive that taking short leaves were one hundred percent okay, because having a life is more important than one match. If so, then why is it that people like you, and Emerald, jump all over me because I haven't been around lately? I appologize for tending to personal things, next time I'll put everything on hold just so I can focus on what everyone else wants me to focus on. What is her problem anyway, I mean, does it truley bother her that she isn't the center of attention, that all eyes aren't on her? Get with the program darling, the whole world does not revolve around you. I know Nova's probably fed you some line such as that, but it's not true, and I have better things to do than listen to a little red-head whine about how unloved she is by her opponent."

"Maybe I didn't make myself clear the first time, in which case, maybe I should be appologizing for that. I am not, nor have I ever been, worried about this match. The outcome will be the outcome, and I will be indefinitely okay with it. I respect you Emerald, and I know you'll be the a good BUDvision Champion, so why should I be worried? I know that whoever wins, the gold will be in the hands of someone who deserves it, so why should I get all worked up over nothing? Don't get me wrong, I love having this thing around my waist, but I'm not greedy, and maybe that's where we went wrong. I am not a greedy man, as long as this strap is around the waist of someone who deserves it, than my work is done. Maybe I had you pegged wrong, Emerald. I took you as someone who would honor the game, someone with talent, someone with class, apparently I was all wrong."

"The only thing you have proven to me this past week is how selfish you are. Whinning and crying because I didn't mention you as much as you would have liked in my last promo? Come on, we're big kids now Emerald, so I suggest you throw away those diapers and slip into some big girl panties. You should know by now that actions speak louder than words, so why would you even suggest that I am not putting much into this match? Because of the simple fact that I didn't go around the world and talk people's ears off about how I'm going to win? Please. I thought you were better than that, kiddo. Apparently everything I had assumed about you is entirely wrong. Well, you know what they say about assuming, it makes an ass out of y---well, just me."

"You have it all twisted Emerald, something common among the jealous. Pierce did it, Manic did it, and Leaky did it. All three of them just love to twist things around in order to make themselves out to be the good guy. Newsflash Emerald, your little mind games, don't work. I win all the time because I put people to sleep with my promos? Wow Emmy, how original of you. Not like we haven't heard that one before. But let me ask you this, just how exactly do I bore people? I mean, we have me on one hand who was held at gunpoint, and then we have you on the other hand who just talks and doesn't seem to know when to shut up. So again, who exactly is boring the people? I know you sure as hell aren't talking about me, because you're the one that has to cut promos saying the same exact thing over, and over again."

"Here we go again, twisting situations around in order to make yourself out to be some sort of saint. I love it Emerald, you are definitely the best one to pull of this technique. The downside about making things out to be what they're not, is that it always comes back to bite you in the ass. The truth always comes out, which in turn makes you appear to be a dumbass. I mean, you attempt to convince the fans that I am some sort of bad guy? Let's take a look here, I fought off both Manic and Leaky Format from capturing this championship and diminishing it's value, I've fought for the weak, in Abram, I've even defended woman against Dark Child, and you have the audacity to sit there and call ME a bad man? You who went and chased after the worst man of all? Ha, that's a laugh. So what are your reasons for this again? Oh yeah, I remember now. I'm such a bad man because at BUDmania, people interfere so I can retain this championship. Emmy, Emmy, Emmy, all you're doing is burying yourself in deeper and deeper..."

"You claim that everyone saw me cheat. Everyone in the arena, everyone sitting home watching it. Well that's true, everyone did see what happened, but they don't see it your way, not by a long shot. You see, what you failed to leave out is that six men came to Leaky's aid, before Jade was even thinking about coming to ringside. What Jade and yourself did was even the odds against Leaky. Two against six hardly makes me the bad guy. Wait, hold on, let's rewind for a second. So, after Leaky had his six goons come to ringside to help him out, Jade came out. After Jade came out to help me, who was it that came out, again? It seems to have slipped my memory. Oh yes..."

"You."

"You're the one who came to ringside Emerald, you're the one who ran out and dropkicked Leaky off the ladder, you're the one who made the deal to keep this title around my waist so you could get a title shot. So you dropkicked another human being into the fire in order to fufill your greedy needs and get yourself a shot at me? So who has the bad guy, or rather, who is the bad girl now, Emmy? If I am such a bad guy, according to the facts, I am Mother Theresa compared to you. You attempt to twist things around, bring up that people came to help me in order for me to win, yet you leave out the part that it was your own decision. Not only was it your own decision Emerald, but you did it for your own selfish needs. How despicable. If that is not considered the definition of a hypocrite, a bad person, then I don't know what is."

"Then we have another quality that Emerald presents that she should be ashamed of. Instead, she lets it show with flying colors. Emerald held on to a grudge for two monthes, and plotted her revenge against a man who was in the right place at the right time. It's not my fault that I entered and ruined her chances at capturing the BUDvision strap, it just so happened that I was better than her, and that was that. Instead of letting it go, like the good person she claims to be, she held onto it, and stepped on many people just so she could get back at the man that cost her the gold. Tisk, tisk. I find it kind of funny that Emerald presents herself to be something she's not. Is she ashamed of what she truely is? Who knows, all I know, is that I personally, am ashamed of her. I didn't think she would stoop to this level."

"Lastly, she has the balls to question as to why I had so much to say about Evan Pierce. He kidnapped my manager, my friend, and tried to drive me off a fricken stage in an ambulance, and you believe you have to right

"You Disappoint Me."
METHODS OF MADNESS: I realized that my original thread idea, won't work anymore (for reasons unknown to readers :]] ) so I ran with this, and love the outcome.

"Yeah, yeah, but I had a few things to take care of here in NY first. Family comes first, right?" He laughed a bit, to add a little humor into the situation, although they both knew that this was no laughing matter. The man return the smile, and became all serious, as if Zarek had done something wrong.

"Where the hell have you been as of late? Emerald's been ready for you since day one and you're out here lallygagging? What the hell's the matter with you!?" It was surprising, no doubt, Zarek had neve recieved this kind of treatment from a fan. Well, it was quite possible that he wasn't a fan at all. Well, a fan, but more of an Emerald fan than Zarek. It's true, Zarek had seen the latest promos from Emerald, and she seemed kind of pissed off, but for really no reason. Zarek had personal things to take care of, and Zarek wondered why personal life was so hard for Emerald to get her head around

Turht be told, Zarek was a little taken back, and almost angry at the comments by the hotdog man, but he kept his cool. Yelling at a poor, helpless, hotdog man wouldn't solve anything, when he knew it was really Emerald that was was furious with. "Doesn't it go that personal life is much more important than buisness. I was positive that taking short leaves were one hundred percent okay, because having a life is more important than one match. If so, then why is it that people like you, and Emerald, jump all over me because I haven't been around lately? I know Nova's probably fed you some line such as that, but it's not true, and I have better things to do than listen to a little red-head whine about how unloved she is by her opponent."

He walked off from the hotdog man, who was taken aback himself by the comments from Zarek. Zarek douldn't look at him anymore, for fear of mistaking him for Emerald and punching his face in. I took you as someone who would honor the game, someone with talent, someone with class, apparently I was all wrong."

Which was the diappointing part about this whole thing. Zarek had been wrong. Normally, he was a great judge of character, and Emerald seemed to have character. She was obviously just on a mission to prove Zarek wrong, well congrats Emerald, you've done it.

How could he be so wrong about a person? He had been so sure that Emerald would be the one with the class, the one with the respect, but she had proven otherwise. It was so frustrating. Although the two were fair from friends, Zarek felt betrayed, decieved.

And he had been, down to the very last tee, Zarek had been decieved. Looking upon Emerald, he saw everything that needed to be shown in his successor. She was the perfect canidate if Zarek ever wanted a run at something bigger, but that was over now. Emerald could never hold the BUDvision Championship. Not now, not ever.

She had done it to herself, brought out the worst in Zarek that is. Truth be told, he does wrestle better when he has something to wrestle for. I suppose with Emerald as a classy wrestler, there was nothing to wrestle for, no one to protect. Emerald and changed that, with one swift slice and dice. Oh yes..."

"You."

Perhaps she didn't know what she was doing, or rather, what she had done. Perhaps it was just one moment in time where she had slipped, and it would never happen again. But it was to late now. Words had been said, and now the actions must be done in order to back those words.

Emerald wouldn't be able to do it, and Zarek saw that now. What was he thinking, picking her as his successor? A dimwitted girl that will change her outook when her opponent is playing into her mind games? Zarek felt stupid, but even stupider for lettting his guard down.

I suppose that's what you get that, when you put trust in people, you get let down. It's a fact of life, people will always disappoint you, never exceed your expectations, or rather, live up to them. It's a harsh factor of life. "Lastly, she has the balls to question as to why I had so much to say about Evan Pierce. He kidnapped my manager, my friend, and tried to drive me off a fricken stage in an ambulance, and you believe you have the right to complain about how muh I am speaking about him. You need a quick reality check, Emerald, and I have absolutley no problem being the one to give it to you. I had believed in you, believed you were great, believed you might be able to beat me, believed you could hold this title with some grace..."

"But sure enough, all you did was let me down. I hope you're ready Emerald, because unlike you, I won't disappoint."

Black out.
