METHODS OF MADNESS: Yeah, first for Hangover for Zarek. fun, fun. Match number five thousand and six with Leaky lol

A single flash can be seen, blinding Zarek for a brief moment as he stood in front of a large crowd. He had called some type of press conference, in order to tell his fans that his heart is still in it. Abram's gone, he's lost his BUDvision Championship, and he's been retreating into himself. Lately, he's noticed that's not the way to go, and it's time to come back, kick it into high gear, and start kicking ass once again. Not only is the BUDvision Championship in his sights, planning on gaining it back, but he's setting his view to something a lot more higher than anything he's held before. The BUD World Heavyweight Championship, would one day be in Zarek's hands, and he knew it would happen, but first, he needed to redeem himself against Emerald, and get his BUDvision Championship back. That meant going through Leaky Format for the millionth time, so be it.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I have gathered you here today for one puropose, and one purpose only, and that is to appologize to the millions that have stood behind me since my arrival in Bytche's Ultimate Domain. You've never let me down when the going got tough, and for some reason, I failed to do the same for you. It's embarassing no doubt, to feel that you've let your fans down, to feel that you've tossed aside the ones that have cared about you. I am here today to express that I have definitely not, tossed you aside. You see, leading up to 4:20, I was somewhat drained. Everyone had said that my rise of staredom had been quick, that I would easily burn out over a period of a couple monthes. Although I didn't want to believe them, and fought to prove them wrong, I failed, and it happened. I began losing passion for the game, and felt myself slipping away. I have never lost to the likes of Evan Pierce, yet a week before 4:20, I somehow managed to slip up."

It was odd seeing the many different colored microphones in front of him. There was usually just one microphone being spoken into, and you needed to hold it. These microphones were attached to the podium, and there was so many of them, it didn't really make sense. Did there really need to be so many microphones, so everyone could hear him? In BUD, one microphone was fine, the whole arena could hear you. Maybe these microphones weren't as powerful, and in order to achieve the same effect, you needed to have more? I don't know, but it was a pretty interesting change, no doubt.

Taking a deep breath before continuing on, "Does it mean that Pierce is better than me, no, because we all know that it's not true. Does this mean that Pierce may have a shred of talent, no, because we all know that's not true either, but what it does mean is that I was slipping. Everyone watching the 4:20 event could see that my heart wasn't in the match during my title dfense. Hell, even my opponent could see that I wasn't all there, and she was, so it was Emerald who gained the BUDvision strap, and myself who lost it. You may feel let down, and decieved, but no more. I'm here today to state that I take full responsibility for my actions, but there will be no more of this. The old Zarek Lyle is back, the one who came straight out of the independant nation and kicked Evan Pierce's ass, the very same that won the BUDvision strap within a month of his contract signing, the very same is here again and I will do whatever it takes to gain your trust back. That includes defeating Evan Pierce for the fourth time, and gaining back my BUDvision title."

It was different then being in an arena, definitely. You were always in a closed space, and it felt somehow safe. Possibly because everyone admitted into the arena had been checked by security. But speaking directly to the public, was held outside, and it gaze Zarek a feeling that something bad could happen to him. At any time someone could just pull out a gun and shoot him. I'm sure Emerald and Pierce would like that, they wouldn't have to get their ass kicked again.

A man must have seen Zarek choked a bit, so he set a glass of water on the podium, "As many of you may know, I have already begun making plans in order to win back what is rightfully mine. It's true that I have a title shot clause in my contract, but it appears I'm going to have to work for another title shot, although I have rightly earned my rematch. No matter, for the fans, I will take on however comes my way, just to prove to everyone out there that I mean buisness again. I know that people thought I let my guard down, I was finished, but guess again, because you have another thing. One of the superstars from the back who apparently believes that I am a fraction of my former self is Leaky Format. Leaky believes that although he has yet to fairly pull a victory over me, that he can do it now."

He reaches for the water, takes a sip, and sets it back down. "All I can do it laugh at that statement, because I have already addressed time and time again that Leaky Format adds up to nothing, and is just another pawn in the industry. He's like Dark Child or the Canadian Dream. They get lucky wins here and there, but in the end they never amount to anything. DC may hold the World Heavyweight Championship, but Leaky has a championship win to his name as well, means nothing. I'm sure Scott Andrews will hold it one day as well. Leaky may think he's hot shit, but in reality, he doesn't equal half that, and if I have to whip him into shape again, then so be it. I don't know who told Leaky he can actually wrestle, but whoever did should be slapped. I respect you Leaky, but respect is a lot different from talent. I respect you because although he appear to get your ass kicked week in and week out you still stay around. It doesn't mean you have talent, not by a long shot."

The main reason why people never thought Zarek would be able to defend his championship, is because they said he didn't want it that much.

I respect you because although he appear to get your ass kicked week in and week out you still stay around. It doesn't mean you have talent, not by a long shot."

The main reason why people never thought Zarek would be able to defend his championship, is because they said he didn't want it that much. Manic always wanted it more, Leaky Format always wanted it more, Emerald always wanted more, and Zarek was never good enough. Zarek was able to defend it two out of three times, and still people say he didn't want it enough. If Zarek didn't want it, then he would have dropped the strap, even let Manic defeat him in his first defense. What will it take for people to see that this is what he wants, nothing else, just this.

"Let's recap, shall we? Last time I was in the ring with Leaky Format, I beat him for my BUDvision Championship in an Inferno Cell Ladder match. He had all six hundred of his little Leak Guards run out to the ring, and I had two people come to my aide. Emerald and Jade might have helped me win the match, but only because your Leak Guards felt the need to get involved."

Does anybody remember that month or so for hell? That month leading up to BUDmania when Leaky and his Leak Guards did nothing on Hangover but attack Zarek, wether that be before the match or after. The reason Leaky did this for a month, was the he was trying to soften up Zarek for his title defense. Leaky thought it would be a lot easier to defeat Zarek if he had been beaten down for a month. Yet, Zarek still came out on top, which says a lot. It says, Leaky will never defeat Zarek.

Thinking back to the month of BUDmania for a quick second. "Let's look at our first encounter. It was supposed to be just a singles match, and it was my chance at revenge for when you attacked me on Hangover. We all know it wasn't just a regular singles match though, right? Yeah. It was more like a six hundred on one match when your Leak Guards ran down to the ring. They tried to beat me down, and I fought back, but the numbers game was just to much for me, I admit. For good measure, you hit me with a chair, and this is all before the match even began. That was the same night that you got your first and only win on me, because you attacked me right before the match."

He takes another sip from the glass of water. "Does anyone see a reoccuring theme between these two matches? Is there anything within these two descriptions that remain the same? Infact, is there anything in all of the matches I've been in with Leaky, that remains the same? The answer is, yes, and the Leak Guards coming to Leaky's rescue is always the same. It's the only reason he got that win on me, monthes ago. Because him and his Leak Guards attacked me from behind, like they always do. But, let me ask you a question, where are those Leak Guards now? Oh yeah, that's right, they were sent packing by members of the Tide. As much as I despise the Tide, the only good thing they have ever done is send the Leak Guards packing. Poor Leaky, he doesn't have his Leak Guards by his side any longer."

"So then how does Leaky win matches? The only reason he's ever won any matches in this company is simply because the Leak Guards helped him out. If the Leaky Guards no longer exist in BUD, then how does Leaky Format pick up victories? The answer, he doesn't. Leaky Format has no talent whatsoever, and myself, as well as many many others, have proven that countless times. Leaky only got as far as he did in the company because he had his Leak Guards to back him up, but they're not here anymore, are they Leaky? You're left to fend for yourself, left to actually have a real one-on-one match. Oh joy. A real one-on-one matchup without the Leak Guards, how fun this will be. Even if you wanted someone in the industry to replace the Leak Guards, you don't have any friends, or anyone willing to do it. You're stuck."

It's been proven that it's not what you know, but who you know. Zarek knew he had much more talent than Leaky, hell, everyone knew that, but Leaky knew more people had more allies, which caused him to gain a victory. But now the tide has changed around a bit, hasn't it? Leaky knows, well, no one, and has no more allies left in BUD, whereas Zarek has few, but more than Leaky. Of course, Zarek is above having people interfere for him. The only reason other people get involved is if someone else does it first. Seeing as how Leaky doesn't have anybody to come to his aide, nobody will be coming to Zarek's aide either, he won't need it.

"So you don't have your Leak Guards. A typical one-on-one match, that you could never defeat me in unless your Leak Guards were there, so how do you expect to pull one over me? It's really impossible, for you anyways. What makes you think you're going to be able to get out of this match alive? I could never go all out before, because the Leak Guards were always breathing down my neck, so now that they're gone, and you have no one in your corner, what makes you think I won't go all out. I never got the chance for revenge, Emerald was the one that kicked you into the fire. My revenge was never extracted because of the Leak Guards, but now you have no one to save you."

Whinding down a bit now, "If you couldn't tell, I will let no one, least of all Leaky Format, get in my way of recapturing the BUDvision Championship. I've rightly earned it, I've rightly earned my contenders spot, and I've rightly earned my rematch. Who is Leaky Format to believe he can just jump in and take it from me? He deserves nothing, and that's exactly what he is, nothing. I hope all of you will watch Hangover, as I begin my first step towards regaining my championship. Thank you."

The people clap and Zarek steps down from the podium, a little heated. A man, looking to be somewhat of a bodyguard, opens the door of a limo for Zarek. Zarek has never been a limo kind of guy, but with all this publicity crap going on, the professionals had said it was good for his image. Besides, limos were always fun. He waves to the people before entering the limo, feeling like someone more important than he actually was. He steps in and the door closes behind him.

Sighing, and tilting his head back, "So how do you think I did? I wasn't too cheesy or anything was I?"

A gigle is heard. The screen widens and Jade is sitting next to him, "Be quiet. You know you did just fine, as usual."

A smile. A fade.
