"I'm Next In Line...So Move."
Methods of Madness: Psh, you really didn't think you guys would get away with a BUDvision win without seeing me, now did you? You have another thing coming if you really thought I was going to no-show. =] Anyway, so I was visiting my cousin over Friday and then most of today, but I'm back now so everything's good. Anyway, this is the first thread. Yeah, there is going to be another thread, but a small one, cause I got the best idea while writting this one. Yeeeeaaahhh...anyway, enjoy the first of...not sure.

I was once, or still am, known as the "rookie sensation". I captured the BUDvision Championship within a mere three weeks time from being hired onto the BUD roster. I powered through the roster like no other, and kept that strap around my waist for a total of two and a half monthes. It was then that a firey read head made her presense finally known, and came after me. Well, we actually had an encounter before, when I first won the championship in a battle royal of eleven other superstars. Her and myself had been the last two left standing, went head to head, and the rest you know, is history. Now, she wanted another go at me, she wanted another shot at what she claimed to be 'her' championship. Everyone knew it wasn't hers, and that very title, belonged to me from the very first time I set my sights on it. It was mine then, and until this very day, it remains mine.

Although Emerald resulted to throwing powder into my eyes and getting the win, I still owned that title and she knew I did. What kind of person brings a bag of powder down to the ring and expects not to use it? True, it was Nova was infact brought it down, and Nova who infact gave it to her, it doesn't make it any better knowing that she used it. Nova was the only reason she was able to take the title away from me, and to this day, she knows it's true. Our third encounter was only different in the meanings that illegal substances were now legal, and Jade wasn't there to help me, yet she had the rest of the Caine's to help her out of a sticky situation. She wasn't able to defeat me when she was on her own, suddenly Nova becomes her trainer and beats me. Hmm...

After realizing this, I simply had to do the same and get myself a trainer with equal or more value. Emerald was kidding if she thought I would let her training with Novacaine get the best of me one more time. So I enlisted, well, actually I accepted an offer from Dante Cross himself. He offered to train me and in return I would take the BUDvision title off of Nova's whore, which appeared to be a win-win situation. After hearing this, it was only natural that she run off like the little bitch that she always was. I was expecting it, I was. You see, Emerald had the upperhand each time we went head-to-head, and now that the playing field and been evened, I didn't expect her to face me. Now that she's gone, there's another battle royal. Fine by me, I've already won this damn shindig.

I awoke from a deep slumber in my appartment building. It looked the exact same it had looked when I had closed my eyes at 8:00 last night. Not like I expected it to look any different, my eyes had just adjusted to the light since that time, and I could see it perfectly. I gazed over at the clock on the table next to me, and it said 3:47. Well, just a few minutes from when I planned on getting up anyways, might as well get up now. For the past several days, I had been going to bed early, and attempting to get up a little earlier. I needed some rest before I captured my BUDvision Championship back. I know how these matches work, and I know how hectic it can be. I'm sure nobody has forgotten the one before, having like eleven people in it all together. True, not that many competitors have anounced their enterance yet, but there's no telling how many competitors will actually show up. The ones showing up so far, I can beat in my sleep, no problem, so I'm holding out for some competition.

I pulled the blankets off of myself, and rolled over, placing my feet onto the cold floor. "It wasn't to long ago that I stepped into the ring against eleven other superstars, all with the same goal in mind, to become the next BUDvision Champion. Each fought hard for the right to call themselves the champ, but it didn't take long for the superstars to start flying over the top rope. Soon enough it was only down to myself and Emerald for the championship. She was a great competitor, I'll give her that much, but she didn't have what it took back then to pull one over me. In the end we all know who walked out of that ring as the new champion. It's the story of the "rookie sensation", everyone knows it. It's the story of me. I had been in this company for a mere three weeks before putting the BUDvision Championship on my shoulder. The newcomer with talent, it was definitely fitting. More than four monthes after such match, I am stepping into the ring once again to claim the exact prize that I won last time, the BUDvision Championship. Sure, there will probably be less participants in this match then there was in the last one, but that just means it's going to be a lot easier to win. Last time we have people like Jade, Emerald, DSL, Matt Matlock, and so on. Nowadays, the only people that want to show their face, the only people with enough balls to step into the ring with someone who's already win this match, are Leaky Format, Evan Pierce, and Hank. Fools. All of them, especially Evan also occupied the last match. Given the choice, why would you choose to step into the same ring, with different odds, all pointing to the same person who won it last time? Why would you put yourself through that, knowing that I've already beaten the odds?"

Grabbing for the water bottle sitting near my alarm clock,
"When you look at these three competitors, when you look them in their eyes, you don't see the next BUDvision Champion, not in the least bit. You see a fake World champion, crazy beyond belief because he actually believes he amounts to anything in this company. You see a Franchise Champion, falling upon the championship by chance, with an ego to big to fill his briches. You see a drugee, who was never worth anything to begin with, and never will be worth anything in the future. What do you see when you look into my eyes? Greatness would come to mind, I'm positive."

"If there's one person that I would love to get away from, but never seem to be able to do it, it's Leaky Format. No matter how many times I prove my superiority to him, he just keeps coming back with the same damn phrases as before. The epitome of greatness, crown royalty upon thy throne, the biggest chump on the MSN circuit. I'm not sure if I understand why you believe you're so great, Leaky. You've gotten your ass kicked countless of times. No one will ever look at you and think World Heavyweight Champion, because the truth is, you were never a REAL champion, and you have the personality that makes people want to shoot you in the head. Is there a reason why you still come out here week in, week out, and state that you are a force to be messed with? Is there a reason why you believe that you deserve this BUDvision title shot? Give me one GOOD reason, and I'll believe you, but my guess is, you don't have one."

I downed the rest of the water in the bottle and tossed it towards the trash can.
"You want to know why the management of BUD didn't want to give you a BUDvision title shot? You want to know why they made you wrestle away your contendership? It wasn't because I told them too, because frankly, I don't have any control over what any member of management says. Why would you even begin to think it was because I told them too? That's one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. But you know Leaky, you seem confused on this whole aspect as to why they didn't want you in a title match, so I'll enlighten you. Management knows that you can't wrestle for shit, and management knows you like to cause trouble then not be able to back it up, so you know what they were doing by keeping you out, they were doing you a favor. You were the NUMBER TWO contender Leaky, and you were already picking your title shot? What the hell is that? You can't say, oh, by the way, I am going to take my title shot in two monthes, because I feel like it, and you're going to give it to me. Even if the BUD management wasn't as smart as they are, you really believe they would have given you that shot? If so, then you're even dumber than you look. You see Leaky, what really did you in, was when you started pussing out, and refused to defend your contendership. I defended my title shot against you, so why would you believe that you wouldn't have to defend your contenders spot? I know why you didn't want to defend it, because you knew you'd get your ass kicked, but why would you think management would let you just sit back, and not defend it? Oh yeah, I forgot, you're not that smart."

"Leaky, Leaky, Leaky, when will you ever learn that you just don't belong in the BUDvision division. Maybe you'd be able to make it in the Franchise division, or maybe you should just stick to the 24/7 THC Championship, that's where you belong. Time and time again you have tried to capture this championship, but have failed to do it. What makes you believe that you'll be able to take it now, in a match that I obviously rule? You tried to take it from Bobby Johnson in a triple threat against Akmed, but failed. You tried to take it from me in a flaming cage ladder match, but failed. Now you think you're going to be able to take it home for yourself, when everyone in this match, even Hank, could take you to the mat? Maybe one day, Leaky, you're going to wake up from this fantasy land that you live it, and realize that this isn't LeakyLand. Snap out of your dream world and realize that Leaky Format does not, and will not ever, rule BUD. Even when you held the World Heavyweight Championship for one grueling week, you weren't looked up as the top of BUD, cause everyone knew it wasn't real. You have never been, nor will you ever be looked upon as a top competitor in a federation such as BUD, and just like I promised you, you have never, nor will you ever, hold the BUDvision Championship within my grasps. Unlike yours Leaky, my promises are far from empty."

I needed to head off to the gym in about fifteen minutes. Truth be told, with the competition so far at hand, I didn't really need too, but I was banking on some late entries. I can only hope. "Speaking of empty promises, Evan Pierce has also decided to throw his hat into the ring, again. As everyone may remember, this isn't Pierce's first time in a battle royal for the BUDvision Championship. No, he, along with myself, was also in the previous battle royal. If you remembered him from that match earlier in time, you may remember he was like the fourth one to be thrown over the rope, probably right after Lori Ann or Snake Eyes. Back then, Evan promised that he would personally throw me over the top rope, and eliminate me from capturing the BUDvision championship. Ha, as we all know, that didn't happen in the least bit. That night, Evan also vowed to dismember me in our Parking Lot Brawl match. Another empty promise. A man like Evan Pierce is full of empty promises, so let me ask you, do you honestly believe him when he says that he will be the new BUDvision Champion. Answer truthfully now. No, I didn't think you did. Evan Pierce believes the record against us is something along the lines of 1-1, which is another lie. The ambulance match did not count, in the least bit, because like the others, there were more people involved. If the ambulance match did count Pierce, then that must mean the triple threat match also counted, correct? According to Evan's standards, yeah it does. Which in turn means that the previous battle royal also counted. So according to Evan, the record would then lie at 3-1. Accepting my failure, Pierce? How can I accept the failure if it isn't there? Either way Pierce, you have a LOSING record against me. I think YOU need to accept that."

I grabbed a cold water bottle from the fridge and threw it into my black duffel bag.
"We've encountered each other so many times, that it's just not fun anymore. I am seriously tired of kicking your ass so many times. There's one thing that just doesn't make sense to me Pierce. Let me get this straight, YOU'RE BUD? You've got to be fuckcing kidding me, right? What have you done to prove that you'd even begin to make your way up to the top? Let's see you "WON" the Franchise Championship. You didn't "TAKE ADVANTAGE" of Kim Pain as she was leaving the company, she pretty much HANDED you the damn title. It was the circumstance that you two were romantically involved, she had kicked your ass to many times, so she might as well just laid down and let you did that pin. That's what pretty much happened, no matter how many times you choose to deny it. You didn't earn that title to begin with, you've held it for over a month, and you still haven't defended it. So even if you were telling the truth, and by some ray of sunshine, you fairly defeated Kimberly Pain, you've proved that you don't have what it takes to defend that championship, and I have a feeling you never will."

"Then you have this goal that you will be BUDvision Champion, and then you think you're going to go on to become the World Heavyweight Champion? Pierce, you can't even defeat me without kidnapping my manager, mentally disabling me for our match, and on top of that, having your little buddies run down to the ring to help you. You're pathetic, Pierce. The only reason you even made ANYTHING of yourself was by having the Tide. True, they were a bunch of chumps, but there was obviously strength in numbers. It gave you the Franchise championship, and it gave you a win over myself. You and your little group were hanging off the end of the prestige ladder, but they were the only thing keeping YOU from falling off the end. You are NOTHING Pierce, and you always will be."

Evan Pierce < Hank

Due to the fact that I had fallen asleep in my shorts the night before, I just slipped on a shirt. "Hank has been a Franchise Champion as well, Evan, although he might have actually had a title dfense within the first month of his title reign. I don't really know to be honest, but either way, I'm pretty sure you had to be a better champion than Evan Pierce. People like Evan Pierce are all talk and no game, and people like Hank are...well, they're pretty much the same but take more drugs and somehow have more talent than people like Evan. I almost feel sorry for Evan, being lower than someone like Hank. Oh well, truth is truth."

"I admire the fact that you're stepping back into the ring to try to become BUDvision champion, Hank, but I must retract that statement, from the look of your smarts. You may be able to kick Evan Pierce into the ground, but you are sure as hell not better than me, so what made you think you'd come out on top? I don't know, maybe all the drugs finally caught up with you have years and years, who really knows. I mean, tell me if I'm wrong, please. Please stop me if I am somehow putting a damper into your reputation, but here's the thing, I don't believe I am. What have you ever done to prove yourself as a good competitor? You captured the Franchise Championship, okay, who hasn't? Oh yeah, that's right, I haven't. You know why I never became Franchise Champion? Because I skipped the division entirely, that's why. Infact, one of the many times that I put Evan Pierce in his place, the winner became the number two contender for the Franchise Championship. Given that I won the BUDvision Championship the same night, I gave up the contendership, since I had no use for it, and it was GIVEN to Evan. So your Franchise win, no big deal. Look who's the champ right now, pathetic, right? I know. I've seen your inring abilities and getting your ass handed to you by Connor Riley in his debut match was less than impressive. Haven't you even tried to go after the BUDvision title before, and failed? Didn't you enter that cage match for the number three contenders spot, and lost? Who was it that won that match again, wasn't it Drew Stevenson? Actually, I remember it well because I was rooting for Drew to win. You lost to Drew, and if you didn't happen to see the edition of Hangover two weeks ago, I beat Drew. Don't get me wrong, I respect the man without a don't and he is a great competitor, god rest his soul, but if you can't beat him, then how are you going to beat me? If you can't beat Leaky Format, then how are you going to beat me? We both know you're better than Evan Pierce, so I won't even ask that one."

I slipped some socks and shoes on my feet. "Hank my boy, don't you have something better to be doing on a Sunday night rather than competiting in an open BUDvision battle royal? Don't you have some substance to sniff, some substance to smoke, some girls to get slapped by, some THC battle to take part in? Could you possibly have someone to sell too? I really don't know what people like you do on Sunday nights but I can assure you that you won't find any weed at Madison Square Garden on a Sunday night. Well, maybe you will in the back allies or something, but my best guess would be that you are looking in the wrong place. Who knows, maybe your actual intention was to go to MSG and battle for the BUDvision title. I'm clueless, Hank's mind is a bunch of nothingness that should never be explored under any circumstances."

I slung the black duffel bag on my shoulder. It was lighter than my usual load, but then again, look at my opponents. "I'm kind of disappointed in the turnout of this match. The only people that have put their names up there are myself, Leaky, Evan, and Hank? That is highly disappointing. But I can understand the reasoning behind it. You see, the battle royal that took place was just an outright free-for-all. No one HAD to be in it, and anyone could enter. This time the contenders have to be in it, Leaky and myself, then on top of that, anyone can enter. Seeing as how my name comes before anyone, I believe that's why only two more people have decided to join. Everyone knows that I am king when it comes to these sort of things, and I pretty much have the win already, without sounding to arrogant. I was looking forward to a repeat outcocme of last time, but I was let down by Leaky, and two more lowlife opponents. It's okay though, I know people didn't want to go up against me, and have to lose. I understand."

I opened the door, ready to hightail it. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off the to gym, and I'll see you three boys, and anyone else who shows up, at Madison Square Garden."

Door closes.

Fade out.
