METHODS OF MADNESS: The first for this weeks Hangover. It isn't that long or anything, I'm just getting back into the hang of things, because I actually haven't rped in several weeks, unless you count that strat, but yeah. This should be interesting. I hope Miss VixXxen shows. She's been impressive, and I really want to see what she can pull off.

The feeling in in the air was regret. He stood on a long pier, looking over the edge at the light blue below. It was an all to familiar feeling. Standing on the edge, watching your hopes and dreams slip away while you remain helpless, feeling as if there's nothing you can do except sit there and watch it happen. It had happened once before in his career, and to have that feeling enter his being once again, was pure nightmare. The accident was expected to do near this much damage. Sure, nobody is going to roll a car a couple of times and walk away. But he payed his dues, he was out of commision for a month and a half. Shouldn't fate allow him to get his life back on the road? I suppose not, or atleast, that's how it turned out. The World Heavyweight Championship was in his grasp, and he let it slip away. If he were to take Bobby's spot, he could have easily put one over Leaky and Drew, he's done it before, but it wasn't meant to be. Blame it on the accident, blame it on whatever, but his dream had died that day.

He woke up with a pain in his left arm. Looking over, his matress was partly stained red. His stitches must have come out. The accident hadn't left him completly wounded, but he was still recovering in a sense. The rumble didn't the recovery much, but Zarek saw it as his time to take hold. Of course, we all know how that ended. He had fallen asleep in his locker room. It had become his second home, and he spent most of his time just lounging around in it. The one good thing about being in the locker room was that you were still in the arena, which meant in cases like this, you could still call on the medical staff that was employed by BUD. Zarek sighed and attempted to put some pressure on his side to stop the bleeding. He picked up the phone nearest him and dialed a short number. There were a few rings before someone on the other end picked up.

"Hey doc. My stitches came undone, is there any way that you could come over here and stitch me back up?"

"How bad does it look?"

"It doesn't look to bad, just a couple of stitches is all. Thing is, I guess I fell asleep and I'm not quite sure how much blood I lost."

"Alright, I'm taping up John Wilson's ankle at the moment, I'll be there as soon as I can."

Zarek nodded and hung up the phone. He knew the doctor on the other line wouldn't be able to see his nod, but figured he'd get the picture. The matches for Moment of Silence weren't exactly entertaining so he had no desire to watch them much. Dannica versus some unknown named Tani Lyons? Shouldn't be to hard for Dannica to retain her championship. Zarek had gone up against the queen of BUD twice before, and lost both times, so it was no wonder who would come out on top. Drew Stevenson versus Leaky Format versus Bobby Johnson? The only interesting person in that match was Bobby, and it's almost sure that he has a countless amount of wins over the other two. There should be no wonder there as well. True, Zarek had started watching the MOS matches, but then again he also ended up sleeping, so there you go. Suddenly, Doctor Smith walked in through the door.

"You know Zarek, there's a reason why I told you it would be unwise to come back so soon. Not many wrestlers only take a month and a half off after going through something like that."

"Yeah I know, you've told me time and time before, but you know very well that I can never stay away very long."

"And I still say that' unwise Zarek. If this happens when you're just lying around, imagine what could happen when you step into the ring."

"Don't worry about it doc, I have it all under control. It's no big deal, really. I'm perfectly fine. This was just some bizaire random event."

There was silence. The doctor knew he was lying, but wouldn't dare call him on it. Zarek had been told time and time again that he wasn't ready to get back into the ring. He was told that he should take atleast a couple of monthes off, and that if he chose to go back so soon, he could sustain long term injuries. It's not that Zarek is a daredevil or anything, it's that this buisness is his life, a couple of monthes just wouldn't feel right. He wouldn't be able to sit home and watch people like Drew Stevenson holding championship belts.

"So I hear the Hangover card was anounced. I didn't have time to check it or anything. Would you happen to be on it?"

"You know very well that I asked for a match. I was left out of Moment of Silence because of stuff like this, it's about time I get back on my game."

"Why do you insist on going behind my back and deliberitely doing the opposite of what I tell you to do?"

"I'm not doing the opposite. You said I could wrestle if I felt up to it, but it wouldn't be wise too. I feel up to, and right now I simply don't care about the risks."

"Always the one to twist and turns things around, aren't we Zarek? You know very well you shouldn't be wrestling now, or anytime soon. You could end up seriously hurt, and then what? Then what Zarek? Are you going to live with the fact that you chose to bring that upon yourself? I doubt you'll be able to stand  it."

There was tension in the room between the two men. The doctor was indeed angry that Zarek would even think about going against his words. In the end, it was Zarek's choice, and the doctor really have no decision in what Zarek chose to do with his life. If Zarek wanted to risk ending his career all together, that was his choice. Of course, that wouldn't stop Doctor Smith from bitching. As he continued stitching, he gave Zarek an extra hard stab with the needle.

"Ouch. Watch it back there, doc."

"Calm down. I'm just doing my job here."

"...And I'm just doing mine."

"So, now that you've decided to wrestle despite my best wishes, who are you going up against?"

"Miss VixXxen, I believe. I don't think management wanted me to rush back into things. We all know who I should be going up against."

"Although it's not the match you wanted, I do hope you're not taking this one lightly. She's been known to prove people wrong, and could very well prove you wrong, especially in this state."

"Oh, don't worry, I don't plan on taking Miss VixXxen lightly. I know what she's capable of, and I don't doubt that one day she'll be Bytch Champion, but right now she's my comeback match...if you don't count that damn rumble, and I have to re-show everyone that I mean buisness. It's as simple as that."

"Atleast you know what you're getting yourself into."

"Of course I do. Now, if you'd excuse me, and if you're done, I have certain buisness to attend to."

"Mhmm, sure thing..."

The doctor gave Zarek another hard stab with the needle, very intentional incase you didn't realize that before. Zarek jumped up and pointed at the doctor, almost threatening. Grabbing his jacket near the door, he then stormed out to god knows where. Actually, you'll know soon enough but that's another roleplay.
