All that can be heard is the ocean, the waves crashing down on top of each other, but all is dark. There a few birds, which can be identified as seagulls by their sqwuak. You can almost feel the mist blowing upon your face. The scene opens near a rocky cliffisde that overlooks the ocean below. The tide is high, and the dark crystal blue waves are ramming into the side of the rocks, creating an endless spray up the side of the cliffs. The sky is dark, cloudless, just a sea of gray that does on for miles. Almost as if an impending doom is looming over this place. All of the seagulls have been grounded by the force of the wind. Near the cliffside there is a brown house in a dark patch of green. The door is wide open, and whoever was in the house before, appears to be right on the edge of the cliff now. As the camera zooms in, it's apparent that the man on the edge of the cliff is everyones favorite rookie sensation, Zarek Lyle. His sandy blonde hair is messy from being blown by the wind, and he is decked out in warm cloths just as before. Drew had come out and said all he needed to say, but apparently, Zarek wasn't going to stand for it. The match of his life was only about a day away now, and nothing was going to stop him from progessing forward.

"Let's take a small trip back in time, to one year ago, when all BUD competitors were preparing for Krystmas Kaos 2006."

A time before Zarek had made a new for himself, or even entered the world of BUD. Drew on the other hand had been in BUD for a time, and had even managed to capture the Tag Team Championships.

I have to admit the card looks better than ours this year, but there's one match that stands above the rest. Dannica versus Wallstreet, that was fought within a steel cage, was definitely my favorite, and the final result was beyond amazing. The only hope is that the steel cage showdown this year will get anywhere close to comparing to the one from last year."

He remembered watching match go down from his home television screen, thinking to himself that the two competitors involved were real superstars. Never in a million years did Zarek think that in a month he would have a contract with BUD, and in a year he would be competiting on the same stage, in the same type of match, for the World Heavyweight Championship. It all seemed unreal. If this was a dream, he certainly didn't want to be woken up.

"There's no need to light my fire Drew, it's been blazing ever since day one. Ever since I advanced in the World title tournament I've been thinking about the Krystmas Kaos main event. Even before I knew who my opponent was going to be, I was picturing myself with the strap over my shoulder. Can you say the same, Drew? I have to say one thing, in all honesty, I am glad that Stephanie chose you as my opponent. Anyone else would have made the match that much less fufilling. Determination isn't a question in this matter any longer, because we've both expressed our feelings time and time again on this issue. We both want it so bad that we can already see our names engraved in the bottom of the title. The only problem is, there will only be room for one name on that title. I've said it before and I'll say it again, there's only room for one hero on the top. For the first time, it isn't a question of good versus evil, because in this situation only good can prevail. But which hero will walk out as champion?"

There were classic tales of heroes laughing in the face of danger, and conquering evil, in the name of all that was good. But what if there was no real danger, and the only evil would be vanquished by two heroes fighting it out to the death? Sounds like a new tragedy to me.

"There's no doubt that both of us inside a cage, tearing each other limb from limb to get to the top, will be the highest rated match of the night. Hell, just watching the promos that have been cut, you can see that it will be a great match. You'll get your wonderful high rated return match, Drew. If that's all you're worried about, then there is really no need to worry at all. Despite a little mishap earlier this week, there's been no reason to believe that I won't be at one hundred percent. Believe me, you won't be getting a half-assed performance anytime soon from yours truley.Nothing can make me stay down. I always get back up, so of course, I'll be at one hundred percent. For you, I can't say the same. You say you've recovered from your knee surgery, but you keep bringing it up. Is there something we should know, Drew? You want me at one hundred percent, and in turn, I want you at one hundred percent. I don't want to walk into the that steel cage knowing that my opponent has a bad knee. I don't want to walk out there on Sunday, look across the ring, and see that damn clone staring back at me. No. I want to see Drew Stevenson."

A short pause, key the hesitated look, and then continue.

"You've assured me that you will do anything within your power to stop me from getting atop the cage. You've assured me that you are ready for anything, and can take whatever I throw at you. I really hope you're telling me the truth, Drew. The only thing worse than losing in a situation like this, is winning and knowing that your opponent didn't have his whole heart in it."

Zarek had challenged Drew to the first time they were to face off against each other, and Drew graciously accepted. Little did Zarek know that he would have to face off against Stevenson's clone, and not Stevenson himself. Needless to say, he was greatly disappointed, but did away with Stevenson's clone anyway. There was hope that one day Zarek would be able to face off against the real Drew Stevenson, and hope that Stevenson would have more talent than his so called clone.

"You brought up the Heavyweight Battle royal, a bit. The battle royal was a one time only deal, where I left myself vulnerable and open to any source. I was recovering from an event that had happened prior to the battle royal and I wasn't thinking about my health, but rather thinking about capturing the World Heavyweight championship. Much like this match, really. Just like before I am willing to forget my health in order to take home the one thing I want the most. That's the way I've always done it, and I'm not going to stop now. That's the kind of mindset you have to be in, in order to walk out of this cage match alive. With everything, I do believe we've both reached that mindset. Even if I have to battle you all night in order to get to the top of that cage, I will do it. I'm holding nothing back, and I expect the same from you."

The whole time he had been talking, he had also been slowly walking along the cliffs edge.

"Even now the adreneline is pumping, and I can almost here the audience chanting for more. It's upon us..."

He looks off into the distance, with a smile upon his face, almost as if he could see it all there. The lights, the camera, the ring, everything. Zarek brushs off his moment of anticipation and continues on.

"I think you need to make up you own mind, Drew. I praised you because you deserve it, but you need to prove that you're not like your clone. Were your talent and charisma cloned as well, or did it just skip that part? That's what I was referring to, but apparently it was lost on you. Show the world that I'm a Hypocrite? Hardly. What I was showing the world was how to ensure a match where your opponent won't back down. You're allowed to 'pump me up' but I'm not allowed to do the same? Setting a double standard, are we Drew? It's no different from you constantly telling me I'm not good enough for the Heavyweight division. I don't undermine you in any way, nor did I ever underestimate you. By saying you should prove that you are better than certain people say you are? Let's make something perfectly clear before you misunderstand me again. I never said I needed any convincing, all I was suggesting is that you go out there Sunday and prove them wrong. I really don't see how you took that as an insult, but think what you will, it doesn't really matter. But it got your attention, didn't it? Looks like someone's ready for a return match."

Which is what Drew wanted all along, a strong return match...that would ultimately lead him to greater heights. For example, the World Heavyweight Championship. There was some doubt as to wether Drew was for real or not, though. Here he was claiming himself as a hero, while stepping upon the feet of the little people the second he walks through the door. What about people such as Leaky Format who have been working the whole time for a World title shot. Drew stepped on his dreams with no remorse whatsoever upon his return. Which raised the question if Drew was putting on a front in order to gain the support of the fans.

"The one who wins this match is the one who is launched to a new stage. You don't just walk out as the winner, nor do you walk out with just the World Heavyweight Championship. You walk out knowing that your name will be written among the greats, you walk out with glory. I would imagine that there is no feeling in the world like it. To know that you sit firmly upon the highest spot within the company, and you're probably the most common target that the roster has, but it's your night. Nothing will be able to bring you down. You may be broken, battered, bleeding, and hell, you may even be carried out on a stretcher, but you've recieved your chance at the top, and you took it. Even from a hospital bed, you'd know that you went out there, did your best, and came out on top. I long for that feeling, as does the rest of the roster, but there's a difference. I have a chance right in front of me, Sunday night, to have that feeling."

Still walking along the rocky cliffside, Zarek suddenly came to a bend in the road. One path would take him straight along the same path, where one lead out to a dangerous cliff out in the middle. Much like the decision that he is faced with now. One road will bring him along the same path that he has been on, working the BUDvision division, while another is straight chance. It's not a sure thing that Zarek will win the belt, or even be able to stay in the division, but nobody ever got anywhere by playing it safe, so Zarek takes the path less traveled.

"You're only greedy because you're trying to jusify your reasons for wanting to win the title, with the fact that you want more. Nice wording there, Drew. Let me tell you why I want the title. I've worked my way up from the indy feds before I was able to make my way into the big time corporations such as BUD. Ever heard of Hazardous Pro Wrestling, or Deathcore Wrestling? I doubt it. Where did you start at Drew? Probably not somewhere that was one shortly away from taping tables back together. Ever since DW, I've worked hard for where I've gotten myself today, and I'm damn proud of it. BUD was a blessing when I was signed, and part of me still can't believe that I'm here. But you know what, I am here, and I'm still working towards the top. Yeah, everyone strives to be the best, but if you're doing this just to do it, then you better step down right now. The journey has made me what I am today, and I'm going to walk into that ring knowing exactly how much of my soul I've put into getting myself to that main event. In the words of you, Drew, nothing that happened in the past matters at this moment. All that matters is what happens inside of that cage. It would all be worth it to have an epic showdown with a respected superstar...and come out the other end as champion."

The waves kept crashing up against the rocks, when suddenly an out of the ordinary wave came crashing in. It sprayed up the side, but with an amazing amount of force. In the midst of the water spraying, Zarek sticks his hands up into the air, striking somewhat of a glory pose. Looks like a king to me.

Gone.
