Methods of Madness: Taio suggested that the twenty-four hour deadline be waved for our match, so I took him up on his offer. I didn't want to get something up to late though. But meh. This is written differently than I normally write. I started off with a third person POV, and then switched into first person, only including bits of Zarek's thoughts rather than some action. Meh, it's different. It's also a bit on the short side. I'm just messing around a bit.

Last week had almost gone off without a hitch, no questions asked. Zarek set out to prove something. To prove that he deserved to be in the title picture, to prove that he should get another shot, to prove that he could defeat the current number one contender, and to prove he could handle his ex, Jade. It could all be accomplished in just one match, the main event on Hangover. It wasn't even his tag partner, the man who claimed to be better than the best BUD had to offer, who got the pin. No, it was Zarek who pinned the number one contender, and his ex, without little or any help from Scott whatsoever. It was almost a celebritory situation, and though Zarek was never one to shout his accomplishments to the world, he didn't have to. His not-so-helpful tag team partner decided to take it upon himself to anounce the win to the world. But there was only one problem, Scott decided to take all credit for himself, without even one mention of the man who got him the damn win. On top of that, he proceeded to tell the world about how he "kicked Manic and Jade's ass" making it seem like it was a solo gig. Then, claimed there was no one who could topple him. Big mistakes? Hmm...you be the judge.

"Scott Addams asked a question earlier. It was pretty simple really, did he or did he not prove himself last week. Throughout the whole week he talked constantly of people he had faced, things he had done, and it was evident that he had developed a god complex somewhere along the lines. Nobody really believed his bullshit, and it just seemed that he was another face in the crowd, that couldn't back up any of his words. Scott arrived with a cocky attitude right off the back, and he expected to walk out of the tag match as the victor, which he did. So, did he prove himself last week in the main event tag match? As his tag partner, and somebody who saw his ability first hand, let me answer that question..."

The familiar voice echoed throughout the halls, as Zarek walked around the corner, into the camera. He wore his usual street wear, that most of BUD was used to seeing him in, but his attitude was different. He looked almost mad, but then had a sort of arrogance about him. Not a Scott Addams arrogance, but a sublted arrogance that seemd to scream "I know I'm better than you, but my actions speak louder than lies." Well, there was only one person that it was directed at, and with the following statement, it made it that much more clearer.

"No."

A surprised reaction from the audience watching this on the BUDvision. Oh? You actually thought I was going to commend Scott on being "ever so helpful" and taking one hundred percent credit for something I did. He didn't beat Manic, and he sure as hell didn't beat Jade. In his world, he won solely by himself, while in reality he wouldn't have even come close to winning if he didn't have me as his partner.

"You can boast about 'your' win all you want Scott, but this was in no way your win. You told everyone that you would get the win, not to fuck with the indies and all of that fun stuff, but when you actually had to put up or shut up, which one did you choose? In my opinion, as the person forced to view these so called abilities that you possess, you fail significantly short. I didn't see you kick Manic's ass, and I definitely did not see you kicking Jade's ass. However, what I did see is your ass getting driven through an anounce table by Manic. If I remember correctly, it wasn't even you who got the pin. Who was that again? Now, who was the other person on your team, oh yeah, that Zarek guy. The guy who actually did all the work, remember him? Yeah, if I remember correctly it was me who performed the high risk move off the top rope, and got the pin in the end, over the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. Now, please tell me, how does that give you any glory? How does that give you a win over Jade, over Manic? Tell me Scott, I am dying for you to explain to me, how that proves that you are anything. You managed to get a good tag team partner. Good job Scott, you had a stroke of luck. Still, it doesn't prove that you actually have any abilities, whatsoever. So if you would be so kind as to shut the fuck up. You've proven nothing."

Only stating the obvious now.

"Oh, and this whole deal about taking Manic out after the match...it actually proves something, though not what you think it does. What it proves is that you can't get the job done in the ring, and have to wait after the fact, to actually get any hits in. I salute you kid, you've managed to come off the biggest coward of the night. This whole god complex of yours, it isn't really working. You remind me of Leaky Format. Always taking credit for others, never really proving anything, but he's always the first one to show off how 'great' he is. Don't flatter yourself with falsifications Scott, because in the eyes of the world, you've done nothing worth mentioning."

Though the namedropping was relentless, no one really cared what he claimed to have done.

"Your whole risk taker, never say die attitute, I dig it, because it reminds me of...well, me. Yeah, that's right, your whole attitude is nothing new, and has been done, and done better at that, by others. You're not the first one to operate this way Scott, so you'll do well to remember that. You're a less innovative, less original version of me possesing less abilities. This whole thing about the indys, you honestly think you're the first person to come out of the indys, do you? Take a look back at some of my promos against Drew Stevenson. One of my points was that I came from the indys, while he's stayed in the calm spotlight of the headlines. You ever heard of Deathcore Wrestling, Hazardous Pro Wrestling. Probably not. Small time feds that defined what you call 'extreme'. I don't care how hard you think you are, because as stated before, no matter how many times you try to convince otherwise, you aren't shit."

Ha. If only he would realize it.

"Let me guess this right, Scott? There is no one that can compare to you. No one that is even on your level. Those are your words, correct? Tell me otherwise, please, because we both know that's not true. So what are the reasons that you give to prove your superiority? The fact that you won last week, which is funny because you only won because of me. I won that damn match. Then you have the fact that you debuted at the top...with yours truly, and you are also in match six this week. Oh wait, aren't I a match above you, against Taio, no doubt. Shit, I make even Taio look good. Nobody can topple you, eh? Let's just see about that. Try to act tough all you want, but we all know that you don't even come close to greatness."

Despite what his obviously oversized ego would lead on.

"Moving on from last week, and the morons that plague this earth, we come upon my opponent this week. Taio, I know exactly who you are, and I know exactly what you are capable of. Sorry about your luck though. I've never considered myself to be a wrestling god or anything, but I have enough respect for people to say the truth. I'm not going to blow smoke up your ass, and tell you it will be the hardest fought match of my career, because it won't be. It might very well be for you, but not for me. Flat out. To be one hundred percent honest with you Taio, this match means close to nothing for me, and is only here to keep me active, to keep the rust off of me for my title shot in the near future. I admire your heart Taio, but I'm sorry to say it would nearly be enough to get a win over me. A stepping stone? Is that what you called me. Kid, I eat chumps like you for breakfast. Don't think for one second you'll be able to pull some talent out of your ass. Without seeming to arrogant, when it comes to this place, I was never someone making my way up to the top. I launched my way to the top within the first month, beating people like DSL, Justin Black, Manic. Determination is what got me to where I am today, but I just don't see that in you. You expect to walk back into BUD and beat one of the top draws? Who do you think you are? Drew Stevenson? Not by a long shot, and I'm sure even you know. You claim you have gotten better and I hope to god you're not just talking out of your ass. I actually hope you give mr a good run, even though you'll still end up on your own back."

Looks like Taio has no idea what he's getting himself into.

Gone.
