There were more than just slight taps on the window now. It was more like constant gunfire against the window. The weather outside had taken a turn for the worse, but can you really say it was unexpected? With the Gods at war, you had to expect the world would be effected, as well. It's this fact that causes the storm to arrive. The thunder overhead was like a stampede of a million horses inside your ears, and the lightening was almost blinding. The battle between the Greek God, Zarek Lyle and the God of Vengence, Jake Frost had been heating up the whole week, and the time for the actual collision was almost at hand. Who would prevail? The new gen, or the self-proclaimed Gods of BUD? With someone like Zarek Lyle leading the front, there seemed to be little hope for the God's of BUD. Then again, there is strength in numbers, and they are called veterans for a reason. Skill surely isn't short at hand, and the foundation of BUD will be rocked to it's core.

"You know, this veteran versus new generation deal, has been happening ever since time itself. The greek gods themselves fought over which side was more powerful, and which group should rule. You might know the story, but let me refresh your memory. Cronus was set up as King of the Titans, a powerful race of God that ruled throughout the Golden Age. Cronus, kept impregnating at wife Rhea, and each time the baby was born, he would eat it, fearful that they would overthrow him. Rhea was able to hide one infant, and trick Cronus by replacing the infant with a rock. That infants name...was Zues. When he reached adulthood, Zues gave his father a potion, causing him to vomit out his siblings. Thus a war began, between the new generation and the old generation. Titanomachy, as it was referred to. War of the Titans. Zues, and the rest of his siblings, defeated the Titans, and cast them into Tartarus, the deepest part of the underworld. Being the supposed 'God' that you are Jake, you should have known this story, and realized that whenever the old go up against the new, the old never come out as the victor."

Zarek was currently at his home in Greece, the place where it all started. Ages ago, Gods had walked the earth with the faces of humans. Speaking to the mortals, and helping them, if needed. The Gods all proved to have another side, a side of wraith. Should you ever defy a God, then the consequences were unspeakable. Sometimes the Gods even began battles with themselves. As in the story of how Athens got it's name. Posidon and Athena both wanted the city, but only one could have it. The argument brought upon a battle, and in the end, it was Athena that prevailed, thus Athens was born. In the new age, a similar battle occured for control of BUD, between Jake Frost, and Zarek Lyle.

"Congrats Jake, you managed to beat Syck. That I must commend you for, but I really don't think you get credit for beating your own kind. Syck is a great feat, I'll give you that, but at the end he's still considered a veteran, the same as you. Now, drop a name on the new gen side, then we'll start talking. No, I'm not talking about Taio, because Taio is crap, and wouldn't even be allowed into the new gen. You can just go ahead and take Midnight as well, she wants in on your side anyway. No, I'm talking about people like myself, Jade, Scott Addams, Drew Stevenson even. Have you added them to your hitlist? I didn't think so. So the fact that you beat Syck really has no use in your purpose. Infact, it only backs up my claims of the new gen taking over BUD. You've given yourself a point against you. Now you're going to attempt to beat me? Attempt all you want, but they will always come out in vain. Listen up Frosty, I respect your heart and determination, because you remind me a lot of me, but this whole declaring war on the new gen deal, just wasn't your smartest move."

The camera view widened, and the scene extended outward. It looked like he was visiting some ancient area. Ruins occupied most of it, and Zarek stood under an overhang. Some type of old temple dedicated to Zues, no doubt. The storm forged on, and the rain came down harder than ever.

"Taio, Midnight, Morgan Cain, and Jeremy Dillion come in here, claim to be the best and get title shots, eh? Apprently you know nothing about this company that you claim to love so much. BUD forces their superstars to work their way up through the ranks for title shots. If they can't handle the heat, they leave. It's as simple as that, and that's how BUD has managed to dwindle down the roster to the greatness it is today. These four names you mentioned, have never had a title shot, and have never gotten close to one. Maybe Taio back in the day, but only because he put in the work back then. You're not overlooked Jake, and you are stuck in mid-card for a reason. You don't get to walk back into BUD as a veteran, claim to be a God, and get granted a title shot. You complain that people, who supposily don't deserve title shots, get them, while you sit on your ass for years and then complain that you're overlooked. What have you been doing the last year Frost? Picking out some rookies, trying to push them to be the big time. Or rather, trying to push one guy to be the big time? I've had countless THC title reigns, BUDvision as well, and have been competing for the Heavyweight title, while you stand at ringside and say your little cheers. Now you want a title shot? Please Jake, save your tears and overlooked rants for a company who actually gives a damn. In BUD, you work your way to the top, you don't get there by doing little cheers for people."

The Gods were sometimes unfair in their doings as well, taking whatever they wanted from the mortals. Afterall, they were Gods, they could do whatever they wanted. Though sometimes they started wars between the mortals because of this, for example, the Trogan war was started because of an argument between godesses. Eris, the god of strife, sent an apple to Mount Olympis, labeled "for the fairest." Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite all claimed the apple was for them, so a judge was needed. Paris of Troy, who named Aphrodite so be the fairest. In return, being the godesses of love, she made Helen, the most beautiful woman in the land, fall in love with Paris. Problem was, she was already married. It sparked a war between the Trogans and the Achaeans. Troy fell, and was destroyed. Would the actions of the Gods in the current war lead to the fall of the company around them, or would they be able to walk away unscathed?

"Let's get something straight Jake, thanks for the compliment, but I have never actually won the Heavyweight title. But in your mind, I have, so let's go with that. Now, you mentioned that saying you are a former champion is just as bad as saying that you've never won a title at all. How do you figure? Really, I want to know where this logic comes from, because you've just discredited all of the legends in the hall of fame. So are you saying that people like Valek, Seifer, Rebecca Rancid, who are former champions, are just as bad as people like Taio, Evan Pierce, and Blaze Inferno, who have never won the title? I'm not understanding you. Okay, let's take the BUDvision strap for instance. You've never won it, and I have. The fact that I held that title around my waist, means that I was able to reach that pinacle, I was able to brush past the competition and reach my goal. While it may be true someone else came along and took it from me, you'll never be able to say that Jake. You can't say you made it to that peak, that you reached your dream. What it means is that I've been further than you, and you just simply aren't on my level."

Jake believes himself to be invincible, and even self-proclaims himself as a God. As mythology would tell us, nobody is quite invincible. Achilles was a great warrior, was respected by all, and some even thought him to be half god. Of course, we all know how his mighty awesome powers worked out. He got shot in the heel and poof, there's his weakness. Ever wonder where the term Achille's Heel came from? There you go. It would be easier to find Jake's weakness, but kicking his heel wouldn't hurt to try.

"The next time you plan on going through the archives, and checking my loses, please do so correctly. You mentioned Jade caused me to lose to Leaky Format? Hmm..you must have created this in another one of your fantasys, because Jake, I'm sorry to say, but this never happened. Check the record books again, and you'll find that in the last year I have more wins over the guy than you can count on two hands. So yeah, it is a trandition. Infact, it's somewhat of my own little tradition. Leaky makes a run at me about once every month, and I make it my responsibility to put him in his place. The one time he's ever had the pleasure of beating me, was because his little friends helped him out. He needed his Leak Guards, as well as himself, so that's about six guys Jake, to attack me with weapons, before I got to the ring. So six guys with foreign objects had to attack me right before the bell was rung for Leaky to even think about getting a win over me. He tried to soften me up that whole month, because he had a shot at my title. The history books will show you I still kicked his ass, and set him on fire. So there you go."

True, Leaky does TECHNICALLY have a win over Zarek. But mistakes don't make the man, it's what he does afterwards that makes him great. It's how he turns his life around. Hercules, Greek name Heracles, wasn't always this powerful hero, you know. The part that Disney leaves out is that he actually murdered his children, and was punished by the Gods. That's what caused him to due all of those daring things like killing that Nemean Lion, and fought that lizard thing with numerous heads. He did all of these heroic things after his mistakes, but everyone only recognizes him as being a hero.

"You've never seen me in an electric cage winning a world title Jake, but you have seen me in the immortalizer competing for one, and that's just my latest example. You've just walked back in Jake, so of course you haven't seen my abilitiy, or the crazy situations I get myself into. Were you here this past year? Hardly. Did you occupy a seat at a Deathcore Wrestling show, where I made my first appearance in the industry? I didn't think so. The indys are more 'hxc' then you can imagine. So if you want some extreme shit, then let's go. You've never seen me fight against a group of people trying to take over the company that I love? What would you call this? You walk back in, claim to be almighty and powerful, and want to take over BUD. But wait, don't think I'm aligning myself with Taio, Morgan Cain, or Midnight. True, my friends haven't launched their own attacks on you guys, but believe me, they will. You don't see yourself as a villan Frost, but to everyone else, you're just another hasbeen trying to restart his career? I've been here, working myself to the bone to get on top, when you want to be placed on top, just because you were here forever and a day ago. I've already explained that's not how it works Frost, and if your little faction wants to come at people like me, then just try. The people I have on my side will take you down in a heartbeat."

Although history holds a great importance in our life, it doesn't always repeat itself. All of these events happened ages ago, and this is the new age. Will the modern Gods prove to be just as great as the ancient Gods? Well, in Zarek's case, even greater.

"Lastly Jake, please refrain from ever speaking any lies about me, ever again, or you will find yourself with your face in the sidewalk. To say that I have no respect for the buisness, is blasphemy, and everyone who has actually been here, knows this to be true. I put myself on the line everytime I go out there, to keep this buisness alive. I stuck by this company when it needed people the most, and where were you? Nowhere to be found. I'm one of the sole reasons why BUD was able to make it through that rough patch. You took no part in actually keeping it alive, but you want all the perks, which is pathetic. The paycheck was never a factor for me. I stuck by this place because wrestling is what I do, and BUD is what I love. You could have paid me nothing and I would still go out there, give the fans what they want to see, and give the company more ratings. It's who I am, and if you had been around these past couple of months, then you would have known that. But, you haven't been, and this time I will forgive you for it. But next time, you won't be so lucky. Don't forget who I am Jake, and don't forget what I stand for. It's people like you that start driving this company into the dirt in the first place, and it's people like me who kept it from going under. Tonight, your little Gods of BUD, will find out what a true God looks like in action."

Static.
