| |. Laz wakes up in the middle of the night from a nightmare that he has had about his past. He sits up and feels the cold sweat on the back of his neck. He gets out of his bed and is wearing nothing but black boxer briefs. He goes over to his window and rests on the wood from the window. He stares out into the blackness of the night and reflects a little about his dream. His dream took place three years ago when his brother had died. He was 23 and his brother was only 17. Ryan, his younger brother, was spending the weekend with Laz and had asked if he could go out. Laz said yes, wanting to be the cool big brother. So Ryan went out with his friends and got hit by a drunk driver. Laz blamed himself for letting Ryan go out. Laz walks over to the bathroom where he stares at himself in the mirror. What did this dream mean? It had to be a message about his present or future because the past is nonchangable. There is nothing Laz can do about the past but he can change his future. Laz then realizes that his brother and his opponent on Showdown have the same name. He smirks at himself in the mirror .|
|.Laz."The Assassin".| "Ryan Ross, if you are watching this, you are probably thinking to yourself that this is my weakness. This is the way that you can weaken me to defeat me. You know I wouldn't hurt my brother cause my brother is dead, and you have the same name as my brother. So you are more than likely expecting me not to hurt you. Well if it is true that you are thinking that then you have forgotten one small little detail. Yes my brother is dead! I know that he is dead and there is no way to change that, so why would that stop me from hurting you? There is one thing you need to learn Trevor and that is that pain is unpreventable. I have found that out many of times, not by getting beat up, but from my experiences in life. You have no idea what I have been through. You have no idea what Laz is about and you have no idea what i can do to hurt you. Yeah, I'll kick your ass, but do you think that that is pain? That's not pain! That's not even a taste of pain. If you think getting your ass kicked is pain then you have a lot more to learn people. You have a lot more to learn about life. If you have not experienced true pain then you are lucky but there is something good that you get out of it. You see, if you experience this true pain, then you feel tortured, sorrow and fury. All of those emotions come out in the ring Trevor, and that's why people fear me. I have so much anger and fury inside myself that I just want to tear somebody apart. That's what I normally do. I make them feel some pain and I teach them a lesson in pain. I am the teacher of pain and you Trevor are my next student. Method Of Pain Number One: You Must Go Through Pain To Accomplish Your Dreams. There is no way that you can not go through pain if you follow your dreams. People always tell kids to follow your dreams but what they don't tell you is that you must go through a tremendous amount of pain to get there! Don't you wish that somebody would ahve told you when you were growing up Trevor, that one day you would be beaten to a pulp. Don't you wish that your first grade teacher would have told you that one day you would have to go toe to toe with a physco? Don't you wish that your mommy would have told you that one day you would have to fight me!? I bet your dream right now is that you want to become World Champion isn't it Trevor. Well to get there you have to go through me and that right there is a scary thought. Even if some miracle happens and you beat me, you certainly won't be leaving the ring clean that's for sure. But let's say you do beat me? Do you think that is the end of the pain? Do you think all of your suffering stops there? Oh hell no it doesn't stop there! You have to compete with more guys to work your way to that World Championship Trevor! Let me tell you, I have been to the top and it is not a very pleasant climb. Take it from a person who has lived their dream of being World Champion. I know what it's like to climb the ladder and I know what it's like to be ontop of the ladder. All the pain you go through, all the pain you have to cause! It makes you want to do it some more and you stay on top of that ladder. But it is sure as hell not worth the climb! Why do I do it then you ask? I do this because I live for this stuff! Do you want to know what my dream is? I live my dream every time I step into the ring. My dream is to teach people like you what pain is all about. To teach people like you the methods of pain as I am doing now. You are just a kid in the pain industry boy and you have a lot of growing up to do I will tell you right now. So the best thing for you to do right now is run off and read your little bed time stories and wish you were Jack and the bean stalk. Method Of Pain Number Two: You Are In A Neverending Circle Of Pain. To describe this method, let's go back to this ladder idea. Now as I was saying before, you climb the ladder and it is a long, hard, and painful climb. Then if your lucky you climb to the very top of the ladder and hold the World Championship around your waist. Then when you think everything is fine and dandy either you lose or the federation is closed. I know this from experience Trevor, of course I never got beaten though, the federation closed down on me. I had the federation at my fingertips. I was feared and unstoppable. My partner, Chad Savage, and I were the rulers of that fed. Him being the United States Champion and myself being the World Champion. But there was trouble in paradise, first my friend who I loved as a brother stabbed me in the back. Then the federation closes down and everybody is nobody again. Now I find myself at the bottom rung with the rest of you low lifes, ready to repeat this painful climbing once again! You really have no idea what you are getting yourself into do you Trevor? You are setting yourself up for a world of hurt and it won't be pretty. You'll get betrayed, you'll get brutally beatened, and you'll get screwed out of your matches. Then, when you finally reach the top step on the ladder...YOU FALL and you fall hard! Back down the big ladder you fall until you hit the ground. There you start over in the world of betrayal, brutal beatings, and screwed matches. You're still young, you can still make something out of yourself. But for those of us who have been here longest, we don't feel the pain as much. Personally, I am almost numb to it now. But as you know already, it's the thrill of creating pain that keeps me in this buisness. I take the pain cause seeing other people go through it is soooo worth it. Even if you do beat me somehow on Infinity, I'll see you back at the bottom sooner or later. It might not be a week frm Showdown, it might not be a month, hell it might not be a year, be sooner or later you'll fall"
|. Laz looks into his eyes, his blue misty eyes with a touch of red. Like his misty soul with a touch of hatred. His thoughts mix and stir about the recent happenings. The situation with Total Rampage, the situation with J-Max and Lil' B, and of course, the situation with Trevor London. Laz and everyone in the match Wensday have met before and had been on good terms. It doesn't suprise Laz that fate wants to take away another one of his alliances. Ever since he came to SEE he has made an alliance with Chris Walker, his friend from former federation, AE. Laz is the guy that most people don't get along with. When you are teamed up with him, it takes balls to leave him. Laz was suprised Total Rampage turned on him. They were like brothers. Thinking about this Laz kicks the shower rod, picks it up and smashes the mirror. He focouses all of his hate and energy on Trevor .|
|.Laz."The Assassin".| "Speaking of pain in the ring, you think of brutal things right? Ladders, chairs, tables, sledgehammers, anything right? Well our match Trevor is a No Holds Barred so there is going to be more pain than you can imagine. I have not used a weapon in such a long time. Do you know why I haven't used a weapon in a long time Trevor? Cause I kill when I get my hands on a weapon. I am dangerous when I get a hold of a weapon. Not that Im not dangerous without a weapon because I am dangerous without also. By signing up for the SEE you have signed away your soul. As soon as you signed that contract on the dotted line you were signing away your life. Everyone was signing away their life to me. I now hold everybody's life and career in my hand and I can break it whenever I want. You must think I'm physco or something right? Which brings me to Method Of Pain Number Three: To Overcome Pain, You Must Be Physco. From all of the pain you cause, and all of the pain you go through, I think somewhere you become physco anyway. But if you are just some pussy then you'll get your ass kicked, get put into hospital, and maybe even die. Mick Foley, he is the most physco guy I have ever seen. He puts his body in the way of everything to win. Chokelsamed off the cage, getting slammed on thumbtakes, burnign tables, anything. But he is also the most foolish person I have ever seen. You see, if your going to put your body in the way to win that match, then you need to win the match. The guy gets beaten to death, and he still gets up but he loses. After that hell in a cell match with Triple H a couple of years ago, he was bleeding like hell. He put his body in the way and he lost. He didn't only lose the match but he lost his career. Not that was an incredibly foolish thing to do. Do you understand where I am coming from here Trevor. Then you can take somebody like me, now I sometimes put my body in the way, but when I do I make sure I win that's for sure. Now this match is a Heaven's Crucifixmatch and I am probably going to shed some blood in this match. But I can tell you that i will win. When your physco you don't just hit the person once with the chair, you hit them ten times. You don't just slam the person through one table, you slam them through five. You don't just beat the person, you beat them sensless. That right there is the reason to all of my success. That is the reason why people fear me Trevor. I go the extra mile and beat the person and kick the person an extra time. I ensure victory for myself. That is something you need to learn how to do, of course, nobody can ensure victory over me. I am unstoppable, ever since I enetered the AE nobody and I mean NOBODY has been able to beat me! Then Chad wanted to play this whole thing off like I was holding him back and I was winning because of him! BULLSHIT! I beat Chris Walker in a Cell from Hell without his help! He never helped me before! I was the one that ensure his winning! Talking about this brings me to Method Of Pain Number Four: Never Trust Your Pain Partner. You shall never trust your partner? Do you know why you never trust them? Because they want the exact same thing that you do. They want gold and they want to be at the top of the ladder. Then once you are both there he tries to push you off the ladder completely. That is exactly what Total Rampage did to me! I knew he would do that some day, he turned on me because he wanted my World Championship. But there was one thing that he didn't do right. He ran over to my worst enemy in that fed, Chris Walker, who I had beaten twice. Total Rampage and I were suppose to face each other for my World Championship on the next show, where his plan would fall to pieces as Chris Walker would turn on him. But as everybody probably already knows by now, the fed closed down. Total Rampage would have got what was coming to him. Do you understand what I am talking about Trevor? Im sure you have had a tag partner in your life before Trevor. You probably think that he didn't do anything to you. Well did u win any matches together? Probably not. Maybe you had a girlfriend and he was boning her behind your back. Maybe it was the other way around. In the world of tag teams, they will always split up. Right now I am in a a teag partner of one of my opponents on Wensday, "The Charismatic Daredevil" Chris Walker. But I know one day they will turn on me. They want exactly what is rightfully mine, and that is that world Championship. They know I can get them up there. I'm sure you've done it before. Hanging onto another person so they will bring you up the ladder of fame. Well that's why soem people have hired me in the past, to keep the chaos in order. Especially in tag teams. If one tag team ember turns on the other, bam, they both get whacked by me. There is something you need to learn Trevor and that is thta nobody can be trusted. I'm not a every big fan of Stone Cold Steve Austin but he did give the world some very good advice that I think nobody took. DTA, Dont Trust Anybody. I'm sure you've heard of that before Trevor. Let me tell you right now, I wouldn't be worried if my buddies come down to our match. Cause more than likely they'll make me lose the match rather than you. They know that I'll win the tournament, so they'll try and knock me out of it. I am teaching you some valuable lessons here Trevor and your probably going to forget all of this. Once it happens to you, once you get stabbe din the back by a friend, I will laugh in your face!"
|. Laz slides down and sits on the floor of the bathroom and looks at the shattered glass. He is still griping the shower rod in his hand and slams it into the wall. It makes a small dent in the wall and pieces of the wall fly everywhere. Paint chips land on Laz's hair and he brushes it off of his hair and spits some out of his mouth. He sits there and grips the shower rod really tight. Laz has a demonic look on his face as he squeezes the shower rod really tight. Laz throws it out of the opens door and into the next room. He looks at his hands and they are covered in blood. He whips some blood on the wall but his hands continue to bleed .|
|.Laz."The Assassin".| "Blood, a for sure sign that there has been pain. Atleast some kind of pain, sometimes emotional or sometimes just physical. It's alittle hard to tell. You might have just gotten beaten up and started to bleed, that would be physical I guess. But there's also when you cause the pain. If you've been through something hard in your life and you think hurting yourself will help you. That's blood from physical pain but it's because of emotional pain. Of course, you probably wouldn't understand emotional pain. The only kind of pain you understand is physical pain, or atleast you will during our match. Most likely you will also experience emotional pain because of the terror the runs through your veins when you come face to face with me. Knowing someone like you, you will probably try and dodge the pain that you will receiev. But you should know that pain is unpreventable. Which brings me to Method Of Pain Number Five: Pain Is Unpreventable. Sooner or later, even though I know you hate to hear this, but sooner or later you will have to go through some pain. Myabe you have already been though some pain, who knows. But maybe the time for you to experience some pain will be on Tuesday, Showdown. I know you will be experiencing some sort of pain because this match, as you know is a No Holds Barred match. Anything goes, and that means that you have to go. Now, I will say this right now, Trevor, I apologize for any pain I do cause you in the match on Infinity. I know you are just a kid and have your whole life ahead of you, your whole career. It just breaks my heart to have to end your career like this. Hopefully you are experienced some and won't get the living daylight kicked out of you. Otherwise, I don't think you'll be a big success in the wrestling buisness. You know Trevor, this whole you being young thing has really got me thinking. When I retire I am going to need somebody to take my place at the top of the ladder and that person could be you. All you have to do is listen to what I am syaing at this very moment because it is helping you. Well it should be helping you. This is probably the most improtant ruler of them all. Do you know why that is Trevor? Because most people don't know that pain in unpreventable. They try and fight it and they try and make sure they don't get hurt, when really if ur suppose to be hurt, then you'll get hurt. So my advice to you kid, is not to fight the pain, gie in to the pain. Yeah it will hurt but if you don't sit there crying over it then you have more time to win the match don't you. I know these things Trevor, like I said, I am the master and teacher of pain. There is nobody who knows more about it than me. I feel like everyday and I make people feel like mostly 2 times a week. In the SEE I will make people feel it Wensday nights ,which would be Infinity or a pay-per-view. Pain is unpreventable, so don't try to deny it. Method Of Pain Number Six: Never Forgive & Never Forget. Across your way as a superstar, there will be very ignorant people that you come across. You, being the kind soul that you are, will probably tag withthem or someth, cause you feel sorry for them. Then they'll probably turn on you, my advice to you is never forget that and neevr forgive them. If you forget then your rage will build up way to much. You must get revenge on them before you ever think about forgetting. Then they will probably give you this sappy routine and ask you to forgive them. Do not forgive them! They were the ones that made the mistake and they were the ones who did it. Nobody told them to do it. The same thing goes with your opponent, you never forget that they are your enemy, especialy if they beat you. Like if you somehow find a way to pull off a big win over me. I will never forget that and I will hunt you down like a dog until I find you! Like I am doing with Oxi, getting ready to take his Zero-Ex Championship. Then you'll probably be terrorized or something be like "oh Im sorry" but I am sure as hell not going to forgive your ass! I will never ever forget that you are my enemy and I will never forget that you were the one that pushed me off of the ladder. Of course, I probably wont have to worry about that cause you proabbly won't be able to beat me anyway. You must get it through your head that I am unstoppable, you can't stop me! What makes you think you can stop me from gaining the Zero-Ex Championship? You think that your better than me? Yeah sure, butb once I beat you, I want you to never forget that. When Im old and retired and can't move, then you can come get your revenge cause that's probably going to be the only time you'll be able to beat me. Why do these kids insist on wanting to beat you when they know deep down that they can't? That's what I want to know. Anyway, NEVER, and I mean NEVER forget and definently NEVER forgive because if you do, it'll happen again!"
|. Laz gets up off the floor and he looks at the floor which is now blood stained from his still bleeding hands. They aren't bleeding like gushing or anything, but bleeding enough where it can get everywhere. He turns on the water in the sink to wash the blood from his hands. Before he does he looks at the back wall and writes on it with his bloody finger. At first Laz is in the way so the audeince can't see. But when Laz goes to wash his hands, the audience sees that he had wrote "I'm Coming For You". Laz walks into the kitchen where he bandages the cuts on his hands and begins to make some coffee .|
|.Laz."The Assassin".| "Well Trevor, those are my six methods of pain, follow them well, and you might come close to beating me. Of course, you might be a challenge because I have no idea what you are like in the ring. All I know is that you have the same name as my late departed brother. This might be putting a smile on your face, knowing that I know nothing about your in-ring style. Do you think that that fact will stop me from beating you? I don't think so, are you forgetting something? Are you forgetting that you know nothing about me either? Absoloutly nothing about my in-ring ability. All you know is that the people that I have been in the ring with are scared to go back in the ring wiht me. That intimidates you, that is your weakness. Believeing what other people say, and what other people do. You were probably one of those guys in high school who changed their appearance every week so they could have the new "in" look. Always afraid to be yourself. Now your probably going to believe these guys when they say that I'm terrifying and evil aren't you? I'm not saying that Im not terrifying snd evil, but Im saying you should find that out for yourself. And oh you will, especially since this match is a Heaven's Crucifix match, I think I've said that about a hudnred times so far. I think your scared of a hardcore match, or any match with weapons for that matter. I think the thoughtof me running at you with a weapon, scares you. I'm probably right. But I guess I'll have to figure that out for myself won't I? You know, pain is something not to be messed with, but if you mess with it the right way, you an get a lot out of it. |. Laz takes a drink of the coffee that he has just made and he sets the cup down on the counter. It is still dark outside but Laz's eyes have adjusted to the darkness. He looks out the kitchen window now wondering what just might happen during the match. As if the darkness can tell the future but he knows that it can not. It begins to rain outside and a grin comes across Laz's face. He sticks his hand out of the window and touches the raindrops. He brings his hand back inide and whips the wetness upon his face .|
|.Laz."The Assassin".| "I tried to kill the pain, but only brought more. I lay dying, and Im pouring crimson regret and betrayal. I'm dying, praying, bleeding, and screaming. Am I too lost to be saved, am I too lost?"
|. Laz walks over to the silverware droor and pulls it open. Inside of this droor it is really dark and nobdoy can really see what is in there. But of course Laz knows where everything is because he is used to this sort ofset up and stuff. Plus, he lives here so he'd know. He reaches into the droor and pulls out a knife. He cuts a large circle into the back of his left hand. Blood runs down and splatters onto the floor. Laz washs off the bood and he can now see a perfect circle .|
|.Laz."The Assassin".| "Sometimes people get things to remeber things by. Say a picture to remember a certain moment in your life. Some people get tatoos to remember the first girl or boy they ever loved. Me, right now I am thinking of carving every victim's name into my skin. I'm not sure though, I have to really make sure that I want to remember this win a lot. I don't want to have cuts all over my body just because I kicked somebodys ass. I have to makie sure that this match I had with this one opponent will be great. Something that I would want to remember. Maybe my first real competitor or something. Anyway, you seem really physced about the match and you seem like you really want to win. Don't let that be your downfall though. Sometimes thperson who was it the ost doesn't always get it. I'm sure you will be a good challenge for to overcome. just another obstacle for me to remove on my way to the title. You seem like a highflyer, I mostly master in powerhousing. That's what makes it interesting. Like the new Brock Lesner Vs Rob Van Dam. But you do realize that Brock Lesner won don't you? Who knows, maybe RVD will beat The Next Big Thing this time. I doubt it, but nobody knows what the future holds for me or you
|. Laz picks up the knife once again and curves something else in the circle. The camera can't see what he is carving cause his hand isn't facing the camera. Laz then puts down the knife and walks back to his bed. He gets back under the blankets and goes to bed. The camera zooms in on his hand. inside the circle there are two bloody letters 'R.R, Oxi, C.W.' I'm guessing you know what the initials stand for .| |
