Heaven's Crucifix Match
Record: 02 - 02 - 00
SEE.Acheivements: None Yet
OOC: Last rp, obviously. This was an idea I had since my teachers always insist on going over the scientific method the first day of school, even though it's been drilled into our head since like the fifth grade or so. Thanks to Andrew for the compliment, it meant a lot. Before I opened it I told Shaun I thought I did something wrong.

Confused. This is how Laz feels as he sits on a wooden bench in the middle of a park. Passers pay no attention to him as most of them run after their dog. Why does every match bring up so many unsolved questions? That right there is a question that will never be solved. One common quetsion is always who will be the victor of the matchup? But there are always questions deeper than the surface. Take the Heaven's Crucifx Match for example. Of course above the surface you have the 'Who will win?' question. But when you look deeper into the past and the emotions of the wrestlers, you see so much more. Look into the souls of the competitors and find out just what it is that is eating them alive. Chris Walker and Laz, Psyche Ward, has their first match in SEE as a tag team one week ago. They're opponents bailed so they were forced to take on one of SEE's goons. Everybody can see by now that these two are fed up with having to face each other week after week. The twosome throw the SEE into a state of woner with their on again off again type relationship. One week they're celebrating their double victory on Infinity, and the next they are saying their going to kill each other. One week they are slaming each other throw a penalty box, the next week they are helping each other pick up a win. The SEE has no idea what to think anymore, even though these two are listed as a tag team, they don't really know if they're together anymore. Tag Teams don't usually tell each other that they're going to leave the ring in a stretcher, at least, I don't think they do. So the main questions between these two superstars is, Are they still together? If they are, will the Heaven's Crucifix Match tear them apart? Last Rites was a night to remember, especially for Oxi who won the Caged Combat Championship against Bruce Bowen. Oxi has battled his way through the roster to get to that Caged Comabt Championship and he finally made it there. The week after that he picked up a win with his new tag team partner, Richie D. Yet, the SEE still has not seen Oxi defend his championship. Now, the title has been changed to the Zero-Ex Championship, and Oxi is set to face three other men in a Heaven's Crucifix Match. Oxi has had conflicts with these men before and has only lost to one, so he should only be worried about one person...Laz. The Last Rites match was a singles match but now Oxi has to defend against three men. The main question with Oxi is, will he be able to defend his new championship successfully? "The Rush" came into the SEE about a month and a half to two mothes ago. He won some some matches before entering in the Television Championship gauntlet. There, he lost to Richie D, being followed by another lose for the Tv Championship, this time to Jason Kinrade. The following week he wasn't even placed in a match. Ever since the TV Title Gauntlet, Ryan has been in a major slump and he can't seem to get out of it. Now he enters the Heaven's Crucifix Match with anger and frustration. A main question for Ryan Ross is, will his newly found motive be enough to break with losing streak? More unsolved questions appear as these ones disappear, but they won't go away, until Wensday, when the answers are revealed

Laz drifts through his world as his suroundings change. He sits there, doing nothing, locked in his mind, not paying attention to anything. A loud screech is heard and Laz looks up, snapping out of his little mind world. Up above a bird is flying around and being chased by another bird. The second bird is trying to make the first bird his dinner so the first bird is trying to get away. They soar through the sky and fly down to where Laz is. They fly around and neither animal shows signs of backing down. Suddenly the first bird runs into the tree next to Laz and falls down onto the bench. The bird's eyes are closed so he is either dead or knocked out, Laz doesn't bother too look. The second bird lands next to the bird and Laz on the bench. He kind of knods to Laz as he picks the bird up in his mouth and flies away into the sky

" There are many unsolved questions, or myserties, out there, but the biggest of all is the mystery of life. Why are humans here to live on earth when there purpose on earth is to die? What is the main purpose of life if all living beings die eventually anyway? Why should somebody live life if it is just going to go to waste anyway? There is no proven purpose of life and this unsolved question will keep scientists wondering until the human population is no more. Do we live life just for the all of it? Are we just little puppets in a play that god watches everyday? What is the purpose of life? Nobody knows, and I have a feeling bobody ever will. We know what keeps us alive, but not what life is all about. We can go to the moon but no find out why we are here. It's so baziarre that with all of the technology of today, there are still so many questions today that remained unanswerd. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of questions that we have though were unanswerable over the years, but we have answered. Why is the sky blue? Blue is the color who has the lowest contrast so we tend to see more of blue. Why is the grass green? The grass is green because that is what color the chlorophyll is inside of thre grass. Yeah, we have come a long way, but there are still those questions that nobody will be able to answer. Scientists use a process called the scientific method, as many of you know if you went to school. Science was all about the scientific method in my school. You want an answer, scientific method, you want to do and experiment, scientific method, we're having a test, remember the sicentific method. The scientific method is not always that helpful as I have basically already said so. As in questions such as how does the process of evoloution work. But for my next question, I am going to use the scientific method. Seven steps to help you figure out the answer to an unanswered question. My question: Who will be victourious Wensday night?"

The wind blows and it makes Laz's hair move. The sudden burst of cold air upon his face feels good. It is pretty hot outside and the gust of wind makes him relaz a bit. He looks around the park and it is now desserted. There's nothing there but himself and nature. The trees move in the wind aswell as Laz watches. The birds are aflight, none being chased down by a predator, and it looks just like paradise

" The first step of the scientific method is to make an observation. My observation is to look at the Infinity card I guess and see the match. I see Chris Walker, a former SEE Television Champion known as the charismatic daredevil. I see Ryan Ross, an adreniline junkie who has been on a losing streak ever since about a month ago. I see Oxi, the current Zero-Ex Champion and the man that I defeated my first match here in SEE. Finally I see myself, Laz, known as the psychotic assassin and the man that is about to leave his mark in the Sports Entertainment Enterprise. I also see a first ever match in the SEE. The Heaven's Crucifix match. The only way to win is too scale the wires haning from the wires hanging from posts erected in the corners, and grab the title hanging where the two wires meet. This is SEE's version of the Ultimate X match. Obviously a very extreme match up, the perfect match to decide the new Zero-Ex Champion. I see "The Charasmatic Daredevil" Vs "The Rush" Vs "The Psychotic Assassin" Vs "The Most Xtreme Man" in a Heaven's Crucifix match for the newly named championship, Zero-Ex title. My opinion on this match is that Chris Walker and Ryan Ross are out of their league. This should obviously be a match with only Oxi and myself. Both men have faced each other before, both men have beaten each other before, what a better way to settle the score than to have a match over the Zero-Ex Championship. I'll tell you what Oxi, if I win, since we're going to have a rematch anyway, let's make it at Treachery. You vs Myself, any stipulation you can think of. That is of course, if I win. Ryan Ross has been in a major slump for about a month and I see no reason why he is going to pull out of it now. Then you have my tag partner Chris Walker, you think you're good Chris but you're not. The only reason I teamed up with you to get a shot at the Tag team title, and because I felt sorry for you when I kicked your ass in AE. Notice how we have yet to get a title shot, and I still keep kicking your ass. You said that I think I'm the better man in the tag team, well that's true, because I am! You have never beaten me before Christopher Walker, and you never will! The second stop of the scientific method is to ask a question. I might have mistaken the steps of the method or forgotten the order but I'm pretty sure this one is next. I am also pretty sure that I have already asked a question. In the match Laz Vs Ryan Ross Vs Oxi Vs Chris Walker in the Heaven's Crucifix Match for the Zero-Ex Championship, who will come out the champion? Seems the first two steps are pretty easy to me. I don't know why they call it the scientific method because it's not like you need a rocket scientist to do it"

Laz gets up off the bench and starts walking throguh the park as the wind continues to blow. He starts walking down an isle of trees that are suppose to have been made by the indians. He looks out across the clearing and can see the other half of the park. On the other half of the park there is a child's playground with about five children playing on it. The playground is quite big so parts of the playground haven't been touched yet. Laz begins walking over to the playground as the kids continue to play

" The third step of the scientific method is, if my memory doesn't decieve me, make a hypothesis. Well, my hypothesis would be that either Oxi or myself will win the match, pinning either Chris Walker or Ryan Ross. As I said before, Oxi and myself seem to be the stronger and more obvious choices to win the match. I think Oxi and I both know that if we see an opening we will pin one of the smaller opponents. Oh yes, but this match is diffrent isn't it? In this match you have to grab the belt hanging where two wires, from the ring posts, intersect, don't you? Like a backwards King Of The Hill match. Meaning that since I am one of the stronger ones, and I have experience in this type of match, I think that puts me over Oxi doesn't it? I think this means that I have a better chance of winning than Oxi does. Of course, Oxi has suprised me before when he eliminated me from the TV Title gauntlet. But I would also like to point out the I cradle piledrivered him and pinned him but the ref was out. The only reason Oxi got his finisher in on me is because he caught me off guard when I was trying to get the referee up. Otherwise I would have gone onto face Richie D, and mayeb even captured the Television Championship. Even though Oxi's win over me was in a way cheating, he still go the job done. But I also beat him in a more hardcore match, an an Extreme Rules match to be exact. So I have more experience beating Oxi in more hardcore matches. My hypothesis remains the same though, either I or Oxi or be victorious Wensday night. Even though I have an advantage, I know Oxi, he will do anything to get his championship. Even when the odds are against him, he will think of some way. Ryan Ross and Chris Walker are just there to make the match look better and make it so the SEE can say that they give everyone a title shot. This may be true, but it doesn't mean they'll actually win. The fourth step would be to test the hypothesis, in other words, and experiment. Hmmm...I don't see how I would do an experiment here in the park, but I can state some facts. I have beaten Chris Walker twice in AE. One time in a regular match for the AE World Heavy-weight Championship, another time for my AE World Heavy-weight Championship in a Cell From Hell match. Christopher Walker has been able to pin me zero times, meaning I am already garunteed a victory against him. I was the person who eliminated Ryan Ross from the World Television Gauntlet. I have also beat him in another fed that I can't remember right now. I have defeated Ryan Ross two times also, and Ryan Ross has zero wins over me. Meaning I can also garuntee victory over him. Then we have Oxi, who I defeated in an Extreme Rules match my first day in SEE, which I have already said. Then Oxi was able to eliminate me form the Tv Title Gauntlet, which I have also already said. Meaning that Oxi and I are pretty evenly matched. Since I have defeated Ryan Ross and Chris Walker twice and have a tied record with Oxi against him, then that puts Oxi and myself at the top of us four. Proving my hypothesis that either Oxi or myself will come out the champ"

Laz is almost to the playground as he watches the kids playing. Two kids have gone away, probably went home, as three kids are left. One kid is about to jump for the thing you slide on. He jumps and slides across the whole playground. The device hits the end of the line with a loud smack as the kid loses his grip. He falls down face first into the sand and he lays there. Laz walks over to him, picks him up and dusts him off. The kid is now standing but acts like nothing is happening, he looks like he is about to break down in tears. Laz just stares at him and the kid does nothing. Finally, the pain is too much for him and he starts crying. He runs off to where Laz thinks his mom may be. He feels sorry for the kid as he runs off into the distance. Laz walks over to the steps of the playground and begins to climb up the stairs. He gets to the very top and he can either go right to all the slides, or left to where a rock wall is. He turns left and begins to climb the rock wall. When he gets to the very top, he lifts himself up and just sits on the top

"Sitting up here relaxes your mind and body. Makes you think more clearly. I remember everyday after school I would just climb up here and let my trouble drift away. School was so hard, especially with all the drama going on. Then I had to try and keep up my grades or get yelled at by my parents. Moving on with our original topic, the fifth step in the scientific method is Analyse the results. Well analysing the results would be like graphing the results that I have just found. Since I don't have any graph paper or a writting etencial of any kind. i guess I could just tell you the analysis or something like that. Well, considering what I have just said, I think Ryan Ross has a zero chance of winning the match. So he has zero percent. Mostly because of the slump that he has been in. Chris Walker doesn't have any type of chance to win the Zero-Ex Championship either. So his percentage would also be zero percent. Then you have myself and Oxi who are basically equal. I would have to say that we both have a fifty/fifty chance of winning the match. So the only people with a chance at all would be Oxi and myself. The sixth step would be to draw conclusions. Well, I think everybody has heard me say my conclusions about a million times so I see no need for me too say them yet again. There are only two people who will and deserve to win the Zero-Ex Championship. Well actually, I could say Oxi doesn't deserve it because he has already been a champion here in SEE. I think myself and Ryan Ross actualy deserve the championship. Ross deserves to come out of his losing streak and win the Zero-Ex Championship, of course we know that it's not going to happen. Deserving to win and actually winning are two diffrent things. Chris Walker has already been a champion so he doesn't deserve the championship, and he has no chance anyway, so I'd have to say that workd out well doesn't it? Chris Walker doesn't deserve the be any type of champion, or in the SEE or that matter. The only reason Chris won the SEE World Television Championship was because Damien Quinn didn't show up and he fought a jobber for the title. Everybody has been saying it and now I have admitted that is the only reason why he was ever a champion. It's pretty bad when your own tag partner admits that your a loser. I think Shane McMahon made and accident when he signed you into the SEE, that's what I think. So I stick by my previous results saying that Oxi and I will destroy each other to win the Zero-Ex Championship while Ryan and Chris are probably knocked out for most of the match"

Feeling more energetic and revived, Laz climbs about half way down the rock wall when he decided that to save time he should just jump, so he does. He lands on his feet and gets alittle stingying pain for about three seconds from the impact of the fall. He runs at full speed to the other side, jumps, and slides down the slide head first. He exits the slide and rolls onto his back so he lands on his back in the sand. Laz gets up and looks at his watch. He figures he should start walking to the arena now to get there on time. He gets up and dusts himself off before walking along a trail, heading out of the park. When he gets to the exit and is about to step out, he looks back at the park. This is where his childhood was made and this is the last time he will see in for awhile. He remembers all of the fun times at the park and marvels at the view of the park he is getting. Eventually he does turn around and walks along the streets, passing familiar and unfamiliar faces as he walks

" The last step in this process that I am not very sick of is to communicate the results. Normally, I think this would mean to communicate your results with other scientists. If you found a new species then tell the world of technology about it. Of course, I am not scientist and I have no outlets to the world of technology. So I guess these ordinary people will have to do. Hey, at Infinity either Oxi or I will win the Heaven's Crucifix match"

Laz tuggs on a mans jacket. The man is wearing a black hat, a black jacket, and blue jeans. He turns and stares at him like he is some kind of wierdo

"Yes, I am right! That is what my calculations came out to be"

Laz is now shacking the man and he is just staring at him like 'wtf'. Eventually the man just turns around and runs away from him. Shouting 'psycho, psycho'. Laz kind of smiles a bit but figures the man doesn't watch wreslting, otherwise he would have known what he is talking about. Laz then screams to the world

"EVERYBODY LISTEN UP! I HAVE THE FUTURE RESULTS TO INFINITY! OXI AND LAZ WILL BE THE ONLY TWO LEFT IN THE RING AS THEY BATTLE IT OUT TO BECOME CHAMPION!"

The people walking on the street stop what they are doing and stare at him. Laz kind of smiles at them as they continue staring at him. They stare for about five seconds, but to Laz it seems like an eternity. The people then go back to their buisness and act like people screaming on the streets is normal. Laz can't understand it, but just continues walking. Laz decides to take a short detour and comes down a certain alley. He walks up a fire scape and ends up on the top of a building. He looks out into the streets of Anahiem

"Wow, what a view what a view. I wish I could just stand here at this very spot, all day, seeing the view and feeling the wind in my face. Of course, this isn't possible because I would more than likely get hungry. Plus, I need to be back at the arena in about forty-five minutes. I could choose to stand right here all day. Probably get taken out of the title match for not coming back to work, probably even get fired for never coming back, and in about two or three days I would die of starvation. The human life reflects around choices, and that is one question that has never been unanswered. Being here again always brings back old memories, some good, some bad. But it makes me remember where I came from and how improtant your hometown is. Just relaw and let all of your worries slip away. This is my hometown, this is where I come from. This is where I will compete in a Heaven's Crucifix Match for the Zero-Ex Championship. This place is where my career began, and I am going to make it the place where my career with the Zero-Ex Championship began also. You don't need the scientific method to figure out that I'm not lying"

Laz looks into the camera and his face seems serious. Telling the audience and his opponents that he is not lying, and he is serious about this match. The Zero-Ex Championship seems to reflect every part of Laz's personality, so it makes since for him to win it. But will that be enough to win? Laz surely thinks that and his skills are enough to win the match. He seems to be convinced that he has no choice other than winning this match. Even if he doesn't, he'll give his opponents hell. Laz turns from the camera and continues walking down the street as the scene fads
