Comfort
One with the love of God, I am comforted and I comfort others.
A gentle word of comfort from a beloved family member or a smile of support and encouragement from a friend can make a world of difference in my day. Such expressions are examples of the love of God within one person reaching out to comfort another.
Because such actions are comforting to me, I know how to comfort the people around me. I can be an _expression of God's love in the life of anyone facing a difficult change or recovering from a setback.
In prayer, I connect directly with the love of God. I affirm comfort and strength for myself, for the people I know and love, and for those I do not know yet who may be in need. One with God's love, I am comforted and I comfort others.
