Phoebe has been here almost 7 years (can you believe it?) and although she's a shameless flirt with almost any man, I've never seen her regurgitate--ever.  Well, that's changed.

I had a date this weekend (yeah, one of those events that happens about as often as .....well.....it doesn't happen very often).  We were standing in the living room talking, and Phoebe made quite an effort of crawling down off her cage, walked right over to the guy's foot, put her tail in the air, head to the ground and regurgitated on his shoe!  So....do I make the bird happy and keep him around?

Indy, 5 years ago I went out with someone who evidently thought I had too many birds, because he asked me how many I was going to get rid of if we moved in together.  He wasn't around much longer

You go girlfriend!!!!!  He does sound like a keeper, no doubt.  I've been in the same boat~date wise and haven't found one truly "worthy" of my birds or my 2 dogs and cats.  Hugs, Skeeter

Wow! What a great sport! You must have made a great impression on him to overlook shoe shredding. How does he do with noise? You'll have to arrange for an early breakfast date on a sunny morning, LOL

Gosh, what's there to tell (that I can tell on here  )..... he'll be around awhile, I know that.    He's a 6'4" ( I love tall!) attorney who lives about 35 miles north of me, but because there are two bay inlet thingies to go around, it's a 2 hour trip

When he got here, he met the kids, then we went down onto the beach for about an hour and watched all the clam-diggers-- analyzing their techniques and deciding who  didn't have a clue, and which ones knew what they were doing.  Didn't see many clams going into the buckets.  Then we went to my favorite little grocery store, bought stuff for dinner and I made Chicken Cacciatore with mostaccioli pasta and steamed asparagus.  Started watching a movie--Empire of the Sun (EXCELLENT movie) but after about 5 minutes had to put birds to bed early because they were making so much noise we couldn't hear a thing

That's about it.

I think he's the kind of man I should have had around  for the past 30 years.  Can't change the past, but we can do a whole lot about the future.

Now ... where are the pictures, eh???

2 hours to go 35 miles... hey- that sounds like traffic in *my* area.  When did you move here w/out telling me ??

Methinks one of you needs to be getting a boat & making a straight shot.  He sounds like a real gem.  Care to share how/where you met ?

RAL--yeah, he keeps talking about a boat, so he can just zip down the coastline.  I think a helicopter would be better.

I met him "online" about 5 months ago.  You really can find just about anything on the internet
