Touched is it possible to train them to get into a flight harness??????????
??????????
????????
I just spent some time ok 30 minutes getting bitten and clawed all to bits.
I got it over her head but then we ran into some trouble she grabbed hold of the harness and wouldn't let go for dear life and to get that thing off her head after I got her tootsies off the harness....
I did get some cute pic's out of the experience

Awwww ... I love the pictures, Karma. I'm sorry you are getting beat up trying to get the harness on. Maybe you need to give her a few days to get accustomed to the thing before you try to put it on? I don't know. Basil and Beau were both very much adults when I tried to get the harness on. I didn't get bit, but they were really unhappy so I gave up.

Her colours are really amazing!

LOL!!  Sorry....but that really brought back some memories!!  Many years ago, I brought home a beautiful bronze wing pionus baby to raise for my very own!  Once she reached about 5 months old - I bought her a harness....just like the one you have.  We went through a similar experience.....within minutes the harness was in several sections...shredded beyond repair!  But that wasn't the worst part.  My little Scully decided from that day forward that I was her worst enemy.  She chose Robert (hubby) for her best friend...  I'm sometimes allowed to come within 10 feet of her home.
